1381  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: October 12, 2017, 04:22:52 PM
This is a valid strategy, I know a lot of people who trade and have not beaten the gains of just holding a coin over the years.

holding is the ultimate goal, and trading is the best option for actively doubling it, because I am an active person then more interested in using it for trading and facing a risk with skill and experience, assuming that the passive holder will be able to buy a car from profit every year, but for traders can definitely buy villas and resorts. there will always be maximum benefit from active trading.
1382  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: October 12, 2017, 04:16:36 PM
We need to suffer a loss to make a positive experience, all traders never get lucky in a row and they always learn from mistakes, before, I spent almost $ 1000 just for trial and learning process, but before less than half, my insights became wider when I started getting some coins from the campaign. Previously only knew btc and eth, but this time it's easier to execute lots of potential altcoins.

the conclusion if you want to use the smallest capital, it can wait until you get altcoin from the campaign first, you will get experience from the development until the reason why the price of the coin rises.
1383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the future of gambling on: October 12, 2017, 04:09:41 PM
Gambling has a future because it can make people affected with comfort until addiction with the use of the smallest capital. It's used by many owners to make it easier for them. Although the risk of defeat is more than 50% but people keep going back because it considers gambling is the easiest and fastest business model. The government also finally legalize gambling because the business can not be stopped.
1384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: October 12, 2017, 04:02:02 PM
better avoid things that too good to be true like making money through gambling.

Some people avoid it but some people will keep playing because they are making money. I dont think that it is suitable for everyone because whenever I try to make money from gambling, I always lose everything that I bring. Some people have some good luck and managed to win some money although in the end he will most likely lose everything again

Lol I do not think gambling is like too good to be true.  Gambling never promised us a sure win nor sure profit.  It only gives us a chance of winning.  Unlike any HYIP and Ponzi scheme that promise its investors a lot of thing that makes it look like too good to be true.  Though i always believe that investing in legit projects and venturs is better than gambling, investing in HYIPS and Ponzi's is way worse than gambling itself.  In gambling you have a chance but with those fraud company, you already lost your money once you invest in them.

HYIPs that appear in some trading coins apply only to short-term earnings, though full of fraud risks but still many people love them, I am also not going to discuss this issue.

Trading is better than gambling because the ordering is not based on the emotion that some people play in a table. Fundamental analysis is better than luck analysis, in trade we call it with much more complex speculation than gambling luck.
1385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Etherdelta is a good choice? on: October 11, 2017, 06:30:47 PM
Etherdelta is only suitable for people who want to invest in ICOs because all ICO projects using the Ethereum platform are listed here. I think Etherdelta is very easy to use, but you have to be careful because the market has a lot of security flaws

What are the security flaws ? I think there aren't many, mainly because it's a decentralised exchange.
Theres no security flaw on using Etherdelta exchange since it is really decentralized the flaw on here is when you disclose your privatekeys for sure those coins of yours would really be at risk on getting stolen by someone.Unlike on other exchange that you would need to sign up and make deposits into your coins and Etherdelta do works on different way since its decentralized.I do like the exchange but having a heavy interface and high fees will really give me second thoughts.

There are some points they should develop that is about account security, if the user only has a private key that can not be changed then the possibility to be stolen is very large. this is very dangerous for people affected by phishing links.

second development is a gas arrangement that is not understood by everyone, this is a problem because people who do not like it will leave without wanting to learn more

The third is transactions that often delay up to more than 24 hours, this is a big problem if there is congestion due to large volume increases in the same time (Bottle neck)
1386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia banning BTC? on: October 11, 2017, 06:24:59 PM
I think this is a form of conspiracy, so far Russia has not banned ethereum, and only always makes news of controversy about bitcoin, they also continue to interrogate burger king as owner of whoppercoin. They realize that bitcoins can not be fully controlled and they want crypto currencies that can be fully intervened.
1387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who can destroy Bitcoin ? on: October 11, 2017, 06:17:27 PM
the answer is two: government and hardfork.

1. the government is able to destroy the bitcoin legally if they agree to deem it unfit to be the official currency, it will destroy the value of bitcoin massively.

2. hardfork is also capable of destroying bitcoin systems quickly if system upgrades ultimately fail, this becomes a fear for some users and developers.
1388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: October 11, 2017, 06:12:13 PM
bitcoin appears and fights earlier than the currently popular altcoins, automatically applicable if the loyalists will be more because the level of trust has been tested for a long time, no matter how much altcoin offers better functionality, bitcoin will still be a conversion center. There is a fear of crypto inflation if the transition period of volume moves to altcoin.
1389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: October 11, 2017, 05:49:19 PM
I don't think so. Bitcoin became too popular to become replaced or obsolete. In needs some upgrades to work fast, though. Some alts offer very interesting functionality and they are faster than Bitcoin but it's your choice to use them. Bitcoin value is guaranteed to stay or grow in the future. All alts are being evaluated in ALT/BTC rate.

Not necessarily based on price and conversion center alone, ethereum now has more value with the implementation of smart contract, so far bitcoin did not release similar innovations and remain trapped in block arrangements and transaction costs, if bitcoin does not respond to innovation. the effect will be bad and the same as nokia which is destroyed by android.
1390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: October 11, 2017, 05:41:34 PM
What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?
To make their money big. If I were holding large amount of BTC, I will hold it until 2050. For long-term holder, the reasons why they hold their bitcoin because they believe bitcoin will rise up its price. You wouldn't hold your bitcoins when you're in financial situation. I always regret on selling my bitcoin at a low price.

If we look at it in the short term then we will see this bitcoin rising trend this week, we have to buy more and not sell it at all, or will lose the momentum of price increases, hold bitcoin still have to read the market situation and no need to panic when there is a decline, we should be smarter in the face of ongoing fluctuations.
1391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO without Slack? on: October 10, 2017, 02:26:04 PM
If Slack is limited and only for the participation of clearly listed bounty participants, then it really will not be a problem, but I think the problem is very complicated and the project should start switching to telegram and Disscord. I'm used to using Slack, and actually admins can set the post settings to minimize spam phishing.
1392  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: October 10, 2017, 01:59:09 PM
Most of us have a daily responsibilities.
How do you manage your time in trading and in bounty campaign as well as researching for the news and updates of your favorite altcoin?
If you don't know how to manage your own time everything will be become disaster to you, especially if you will apply this into trading you will be totally wreck. But it is very important to manage our time table properly so that we can do our task well.

we just need to focus on some parts of bounty only, do not have to follow all the bounty parts that exist because it will waste more time, I just follow the signature campaign and spend more time to analyze trading charts. The income offered by other types of bounty is greater, but I can anticipate by following the ICO.
1393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Etherdelta is a good choice? on: October 10, 2017, 01:53:51 PM
I have just known this site few days ago when the booming of eBTC, I do not use this site to trade so far but what I can say is that the site is so laggy. There are no much activity but it seems to be so heavy to load, I'm sure it is not about my connection because I can open any other site smoothly. I also think that this site is only being used to sell most erc20 tokens that have just launched recently with airdrop. I dont see any good future of this exchange to be honest.

Yeah, the webpage too loads very slowly even if there is a good internet connection. I use Etherdelta when I sold one of my coins. So far, so good and I never had  a problem aside from the interface where the loading seems forever. Etherdelta is also recommended to me by one of my friends who have been a member of this forum for so long so I trust and I hoe that this will not be a hindrance.

The interface of etherdelta is not as complicated as other markets that one level with it, although the loading is heavy but always improves the system every day. Etherdelta is a favorite of all ICO coins and offers an easier decentralization because there is no need to register with an identity card or send an email.
1394  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: October 10, 2017, 01:47:49 PM
Civilizations are formed from the interests of various countries and agree on their respective sovereignty, if they impose a single currency then there will be a big problem because there must be a step intervention against the currency, In this case if bitcoin applies as single currency, then it will be more problem great because the state can not make majority arrangements.
1395  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: October 10, 2017, 01:16:26 PM
Depending on their state regulations, retailers have the potential to help the state from the tax sector if using bitcoin, but most are constrained by rules that only allow e-money (fiat) as a means of payment; There should be a trigger from some developers to provide btc-fiat conversion services to be a middle ground between consumers and retail businesses.
1396  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: October 10, 2017, 01:09:27 PM
I can be both a Smart person or Strategic person.. i'm Smart because i read some articles and by experienced i share my knowledge to others but sharing their knowledge and getting their opinion is my strategic way. We all know smart is the new sexy but Strategic is much sexier

People who are good at getting opportunities with strategy and analysis will win all existing businesses, lots of smart people who can not think broadly, but strategic person is dominated by smart people because his insights are definitely broad. Strategic person will be stronger to do.
1397  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: October 10, 2017, 01:03:34 PM
there must be a responsible state or memorandum of understanding from various countries to declare EURO as the currency of europe. The connection with bitcoin is the same, but the problem is that bitcoin applies to broader domains on a world scale making it impossible to agree fully because of factors of interest. There must be at least a clear regulation of every country involved in the deal.
1398  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: October 10, 2017, 12:58:17 PM
Which one is good for you depends on your personal situation. For example, are you a good trader? With the small amount you want to invest I assume that you have not the willingness to spend countless hours of your valuable time to learn trading.

If my assessment of your situation is correct, then investing is good for you. There are a lot of ICOs on this forum and you surely will find one that fits your expectations.

we will get a lot of fresh air if we do both where we can get more coins at cheaper price when investing in ICO, this is good for continuity trading although not all in accordance with price expectations. Sometimes I feel bored when trading in full, and ICO is a fun speculation.
1399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto "who" or "what" is it! on: October 07, 2017, 11:08:14 PM
It is just a combination of words that happen to be a joke, satoshi is a pseudonym that will never be revealed in the public realm at any time, if anyone claims even the original satoshi then no one will believe. A pseudonym is useful for distributing bitcoin evenly, if bitcoin gives rise to a central figure it will not be special anymore because bitcoin is very popular because there is no single mastery.
1400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: October 07, 2017, 11:02:49 PM
They have many people for sur ein bitcoin world they earn enough money or steady income here in bitcoin world but I suggest its better if you have bitcoin online its better if you have job why? Because we dont know what actually happen in bitcoin we dont know when the price decrease or die. So its better if you have support but its up to you what do you want to do with your life.

I'm not too worried because if bitcoin has no value, then at least there will be time to turn it into a fiat, the assets we get will be very sufficient to engage in real business. If we focus fully then it will earn more than with people who divide the time between bitcoin with real work.
