I noticed them too:
This is new: 4 Newbies, 3 of them Copper Members, posting in the same topic in Project Development:
Haha! This one is so cool and useful too! Thanks alot, man!
I've never seen anything like that before, nice work
Thank you for sharing this, it is a really cool project. Have been looking for something like this for a while!
Pretty good script and useful for people who have their addresses stored in desktop, perrsonally for me its no use since I get new address for every transaction.
That last one made 59 posts within 1.5 hours after registration and modlog shows 19 deleted posts already.

I'm curious: what's their angle? The usual spammer doesn't pay for Copper Membership first, and this one looks like he created several paid accounts.

Copper Member Kamilaz made 250 posts since yesterday. But why?
On my Active users and top posters page they instantly stand out: several new users with more posts than anyone else. I was just considering creating a topic for it, but you beat me to it.
13822  Other / Meta / Re: Allow newbies with merit to post images on: September 08, 2020, 01:33:52 PM
If a newbie received at least 1 merit, then I suppose the probability that s/he is a spammer is low.
But if a spammer would want to spam bad image, anyone with a few sMerit could create many accounts that can do this.
In topic where it's relevant (for instance on Collectibles), there's usually someone who quotes the post to show embedded images. I don't think this is much of a problem.

13824  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: List of all Bitcoin addresses ever used on: September 08, 2020, 11:33:39 AM
Sample: unique_addresses.txt.gz: all Bitcoin addresses ever used, without duplicates, sorted by address (Warning: 15 GB)
I didn't have enough disk space to process the 31 GB file the way I want it, so I've (temporarily) removed this file. After I'm done with that, I'll restore the missing file. Give it a few days.
Well, that didn't go as planned Sad Although I can keep all unique addresses in order of first appearance, it turns out 100 GB disk space is not enough for the temporary space it needs. Because of the large data traffic, I don't want to use loyce.club's AWS hosting for this, and I'm not sure yet if I should get another VPS just for this.

An alternative would be to run it from my home PC, but the heavy writing will just wear out my SSD. So this project is on hold for now. Daily updates still continue.
13825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: how can i extract UTXO from blockchain ? on: September 08, 2020, 07:59:20 AM
you can check out two LoyceV topics where he has gathered all bitcoin addresses:
List of all Bitcoin addresses ever used and List of all Bitcoin addresses with a balance
The former isn't fully updated at the moment, the latter is what OP is looking for (and gets daily updates).

Quote
other than if you want updated and more accurate one (eg. list that contains scripts that have no address and t he lists above don't show it) then you'll have to scan and index the whole blockchain from start to the end on your own.
These lists include "weird' outputs (for instance m-3165957a315e3d9d2de76eccb1140cb8) too, I think that includes all scripts.

I am using my phone to write this I know that. It's not really user friendly like this that's all
A keyboard on a phone is indeed not very user friendly. But why is that the forum's problem if you choose to use a tiny device for a forum designed for computers?

I read the forum on mobile too, it's just takes some zooming and moving to read. A tablet works better already, but a text-based forum will always be best on desktop.

I also have my older (non-public) collection of scraped posts. I didn't add them here because it has some flaws with quotes, and it's not entirely complete (mainly because of down time when I used my home computer for scraping). The oldest post I have is post 45539472, made September 11, 2018. I'm currently searching this archive for address 0x926062A937a5629C59d4373f7d3d8B354C011540, I'll update here when my search is done.
Update:

Between September 11, 2018 and August 6, 2019, Address 0x926062A937a5629C59d4373f7d3d8B354C011540 was posted in those posts:

2. You've managed to somehow generate their same address a year after they posted it if this quotes are right.
So this is not what happened Smiley

For what it's worth OP posted that address on 24 March 2018 from what I can find (quote is from Trashcan)
That goes even further back than my collection.

My opinion: I can't prove wedosgibas is an alt account, but I did prove wedosgibas was the first to post this address.
If wedosgibas was banned for ban evasion based on this posted address (without for instance IP evidence), I think he should get unbanned.
13829  Other / Meta / Re: Appeal the ban "wedosgibas" account on: September 07, 2020, 12:01:19 PM
My gut feeling tells me OP could be telling the truth. Although I've been wrong before, I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt.

Old posts
Address 0x926062A937a5629C59d4373f7d3d8B354C011540 was posted on July 24, 2019 in this post. And here a week later.
On August 14, 2019 it was posted here, and less than 6 hours later here by user mohadrop. I stopped searching at this point.

and also I always delete all completed program bounty reports, so
This is true for the posts I checked.

Why would anyone use your address even?
It could be as dumb as a bot working on it's post count.

Unless you find a post here thst is unedited from earlier before their posts thst has your eth address.
As far as I know, Admin can see deleted posts.

Or we need users to stop deleting their own evidence...
I can only encourage bounty hunters to delete their bounty posts afterwards. Look at wedosgibas' post history: it looks a lot better than zackefron's or mohadrop's post histories.

Does anyone argue that this is not your wallet?
See:
Sign a signature
I guess the other account can't sign such a message, but doesn't prove anything useful against the ban now.

I've always been cautious when using posted addresses as evidence to link accounts. It's too easy for anyone to post someone else's address. I can easily proof this: 1NXYoJ5xU91Jp83XfVMHwwTUyZFK64BoAD.
13830  Other / Meta / Re: Ninjastic.space - BitcoinTalk Post/Address archive + API on: September 07, 2020, 08:30:43 AM
Since it's all in a DB, it would be possible to associate a user with all of the addresses they've posted, no? I see the opposite being available and I can't help but think of also searching by user.
Not exactly. Depends on the database schema. I'm already working on this, but I still didn't find a good solution that is fast and effective.
Maybe you can include userIDs in the data dump? Or make a separate data dump for "userID,addresses".

When I search for a simple text ("test"), I quickly get 200 results. However, when I search for a rare text (such as "1NXYoJ5xU91Jp83XfVMHwwTUyZFK64BoAD") without Author or Topic ID, the Search button keeps spinning for what seems like indefinitely. I assume it's still searching, but this might cause a problem with server load at some point.

- Post edit history.

If you go to a post's page, you can see the original unedited post and its edited version (edited up to 5 minutes later).
This is cool Smiley Maybe make it 10 minutes though, that's the time limit after which the forum will show a post as edited.

13832  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CoinPlaza.it: non-custodial instant crypto exchange - Bitcoin ⚡ Enabled on: September 06, 2020, 02:33:41 PM
We recently added network fees for exchanges TO Bitcoin and Ethereum because the on-chain transactions became too expensive for small trades. The network transaction fees are calculated on the current state of the blockchain, unlike other exchanges where they have a fixed withdrawal fee. Therefore if the mempool is empty you would get very low network fees charged by us.
I don't think this works as described: currently, just a few satoshi/byte is enough for a fast confirmation, but exchanging for 0.001 BTC on-chain on CoinPlaza.it still takes 138,183.85 LN SAT.

Some stats won't be available, since I can't get them (~topics created
Just a thought: you can probably get this if you check which user made the first post in each topic.

Quote
The "Unknown Title" shows up for the posts Loyce provided to me. His data didn't include any title, so I would need to scrape everything from zero to get them. New posts and posts which got notified to a bot user have their title.
Most topics have been deleted, so if you scrape those titles, you can skip a few million topics to speed things up.

2,40, what are they?
Red: not counted (posts on boards that don't get paid) (posts #37 and #40)
Green: counted posts.

Quote
I can guess red is for deleted posts
I scrape each user's post history as it is, deleted posts don't show up.

Quote
I know managers have to check post quality and contexts by themselves.
That still requires manual checking indeed.

Quote
Would you interested in to add average of time between post, in minute?
I've considered adding a scatter graph, but didn't get to it yet.
13835  Economy / Services / [FREE TRIAL] LoyceV's convenient (paid) service for signature campaign managers on: September 06, 2020, 09:40:31 AM
New: Free trial for established campaign managers. I reserve the right to reject proposals, for instance for campaigns that don't pay their participants in Bitcoin.
This offer started June 11, 2023.

I've been thinking about offering this service for a few months now, so here it goes Cheesy

Are you a Signature Campaign Manager?
Do you have a campaign that runs for a long time?
Are you tired of checking users' post histories, checking post dates, counting posts and typing numbers?
Do you want an easy overview of all relevant posts, excluding the posts on boards that don't get paid?
Do you want to just copy/paste a CSV-file into your spreadsheet and only manually reject individual posts that shouldn't be paid?
Do you want to focus on the overall quality of your campaign?

I might be able to help!

Examples
It's easiest way to explain my service is by just showing what I offer. I made these examples for the ChipMixer Signature Campaign.
Part 1: Post counting
Example 1: loyce.club/sigcamp/chipmixer/week_171/
This is a public sample, a real version will be password protected because it can include posts in Investigations, which shouldn't be publicly accessible. Week 171 didn't have such posts.
Part 1 is based on the posts as they are at the end of the week (or month, depending on the campaign).

Part 2: A quick overview of the state of the campaign
Example 2: loyce.club/sigcamp/chipmixer/
I got this idea more than a year ago, but never completed it. It does not include posts in Investigations.
Note: this sample data is incomplete, some users are missing because I collected the data with an outdated list of usernames. This sample doesn't get automated updates, a real version would get frequent updates to continuously reflect the current state of the campaign.
Part 2 is based on unedited posts as they were initially made. This includes all posts before edits or deletions.

Pricing
I don't mind doing things for free, but since campaign managers don't work for free, it seems fair to charge a fee:
Setup including running for the first month: $80
Each additional month: $10 (assuming a reasonable number of users)
Second campaign from the same campaign manager: 50% off. Third and more campaigns: 75% off.
Occasional changes: free of charge.
I can add your data somewhere on loyce.club, or I can upload it to your own server.

New: Highlight changed signatures
Some users try to cheat signature campaigns by switching their signature back and forth between campaigns twice a week. As part of my convenient service for campaign managers, I now keep logs of signature changes of participants. Example: LoyceBot's signature.
All signatures are checked at random times, on average at least once a day. I keep track of the last checked date, and show all changes. This signature for instance looks the same, but made some changes to non-braking spaces so it was detected.

13837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: About Bitcoin Lightning Network and transaction fee on: September 06, 2020, 08:47:55 AM
I would also expect a third party Lightning payment processor in the same style as something like BitPay (as much as I despise them) to be launched at some point. I pay the payment processor over Lightning, and then they pay the business in question the corresponding amount of fiat.
CoinPayments.net accepts Bitcoin (Lightning Network), I've used it to buy (cheap) hosting. Although they don't pay the merchant in fiat, I kinda expect another third party in between the merchant and payment, because I've seen different websites offer the same set of payment methods.
13838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: About Bitcoin Lightning Network and transaction fee on: September 06, 2020, 08:11:02 AM
you will still need to open a channel with the restaurant or someone that have already opened a channel with the restaurant.
I don't think the future of LN will be small businesses setting up nodes to connect to. It's much more likely the restaurant uses a large well-connected payment processor, and your own LN wallet will be connected to a large exchange.
Businesses with many transactions (such as online casinos and very large webshops) will still use their own nodes. I expect more or less the same businesses that already run their own full Bitcoin node to eventually run their own LN-node too.
