13842  Economy / Services / Re: Can anyone register a .uk domain for me? on: December 21, 2015, 04:31:43 PM
Go ot hostinger.com order .co.uk use code XMAS55 and then get your uk domain
I had a horrible experience using hostinger I tried their free hosting after setting up a complete site they obliged me to get a premium yearly account after ignoring their demands they take down my site and it was only a week they stated that you can have the free account as long as you want it for this kind of malpractice I recommend that you stay with hostinger
13843  Economy / Services / Re: Can anyone register a .uk domain for me? on: December 21, 2015, 04:09:22 PM
I want to register a .uk domain but it needs uk address for registrant. At godaddy its price is somewher around $1.5 I can give you $2.5 in btc for registering it for me.Interested person pm me for domain name. I can provide you a discount code also but I can't guarantee it will work for you as well but if it does, you will get 40% discount on domain
Hello I didn't know that you need address if you want to buy a country extension domain I have here a .us but I was not asked for a Us address I suggest buying a .uk from other domain registrar like lovingdomains or name cheap also recommend that you buy your domain yourself because it is quite complicated transferring a site
13844  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: December 21, 2015, 12:25:59 PM
I came to figure out, why would a consumer/customer use Bitcoins?
You have to pay the 3 cent fee, while you dont have to pay anything when paying with a credit card.

So what is really a benefit for using Bitcoins, customer wise?
much more secure all your transactions are secure and anonymous nowadays it's very common to read and here about atm scheming where they access all the information on your credit card using even a very small device and beside bitcoin are a good investment and of course we all know you have to pay interest in keeping your card
13845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paul Sztorc's "Blockchain for Dummies" is great read. Finished it in one sitting on: December 21, 2015, 11:36:19 AM

13846  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: December 21, 2015, 11:28:41 AM
bitcoin has afftected my life a lot not only positively but also negetively.thats because there was a time when i use to walk run and even jump like a monkey with friends and all the outdoor stuffs but after getting involve in this bitcoin thing i am spending most of my time either coding or learning new programming languages or earnin btcs for somewhere . should i lower spending my time in internet or not and is there anyone who is facing this type of addiction here
Also had the same issue when I first read about bitcoin and how it could go up in the future but after realizing it's not easy to mine bitcoin and can take a lot of your time and money I realize I need to moderate myself and go back the real world that bitcoin is money and we should not a slave of it but rather the other way around
13847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: December 21, 2015, 09:01:12 AM
So after reading this article and especially the ending:

Quote
One thing is for certain: having made Bitcoin less of a security worry, transparency will now be key in attracting users to new models, placing control of funds and fees in an upfront way in their own hands.

I'm wondering what's stopping people from using bitcoin?

And now I'm talking about people who already aware of bitcoin and how it works but still not using it.

The price is now pretty much stable for more then a year, security issues are out of the question - so why we can't see in 2015 more companies switching to it, especially considering the unstable condition of moden economy?

I think ignorance is one of the main issue here even here in our country where there are already a lot of bitcoin atm and 3 companies exchanging to our local currencies many people here still don't buy i guess it will still take a few more years when bitcoin is very stable and 50% of the companies worldwide accept bitcoin

13850  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Value 2016 on: December 21, 2015, 06:55:43 AM
I voted $1000 plus it's long been prediction that bitcoin will rise up to $10k in the future and now is the right momentum many popular companies are accepting bitcoin now and many sites are created specifically for bitcoin  so 2016 bitcoin will be the year bitcoin will increase it's value further and I am not alone on this thought
13851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you earn a lot of free bitcoins fast? on: December 21, 2015, 06:31:28 AM

13853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why even use BitCoins? (read the post!) on: December 21, 2015, 06:19:11 AM
I don't get it, now that I investigated and read much more about BitCoins and altcoins.

BitCoins are not secure, not private, not anonymous and to use them - you need extra effort.

Payments made through debit/credit cards are instant and most people keep their money in the bank (in fact, most workplaces choose to pay money only to your bank account now). That said, to use Bitcoin you'd have to buy BitCoins, which creates extra effort. Why do that? I don't get it!

Basically you have a choice: a) just pay instantly using your debit/credit card, or b) pay using BitCoins after wasting some of your time.

I always thought BitCoin was about privacy and anonymity, but clearly it isn't (just read the news...), so that argument goes straight outta window. Other than that, I see zero advantages, and considering what I just said - far as I understand it right now - BitCoin is a completely useless idea, unless we ditch it and start using one of the truly private and anonymous coins, which isn't gonna happen and is irrelevant to this discussion anyway.

So, am I missing something? Am I misunderstanding something? What's up with BitCoins when it comes to buying stuff? The more research I do about it, the less sense it makes to use it.

I'm not posting this to get on someone's nerves, I'm posting it because I want to understand. So don't get all personal and defensive and value-oriented here, I'm looking for facts. Thanks.

I'm talking only about paying using BitCoins. E.g. buying a monitor or a book or headphones using BitCoins instead of a credit/debit card. It's not about being a merchant or selling/buying illegal stuff on .onion sites, nor is it about using altcoins.

Note by which I seek to quench one potential argument: if you buy something and want to get it at some point in your life - you have to enter your name and address.
You have a valid point but I still think bitcoin is anonymous and secure compare to all the card available if you are going to but online but asking for your address you can send them to a wrong address but if you but using those cards they can easily trace who you are and one big advantage is the fee I was cut off $25 from one of my purchase from one popular online processor

13855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Waiting for the day when Amazon & ebay to accept BTC on: December 21, 2015, 02:58:04 AM
I agree that buyers are looking for more options as far as payment methods, but I do not think that they are going to put a payment method in place which will not protect the buyer.  Unless they are going to use some sort of escrow service, which I do not think to many sellers would be willing to use, they will not put Bitcoin into place.  This is just my opinion.
I totally agree with you if I am a ebay buyer I will have second thought buying from a seller using bitcoin since there is no way to dispute the transaction if somethings goes wrong especially if the seller don't have much feedback or just a one time seller, there should be an escrow service if ever they will accept bitcoin as one of their payment flatform
13856  Economy / Services / Re: WILLING TO DO ANYTHING FOR 6.5 BTC on: December 21, 2015, 02:49:51 AM
Hello everybody,

I am new to the forum and I am very happy to be part of this amazing community now.

Given the opportunity, I just wanted to let you know that I am willing to do literally anything, any kind of job (legal) to get 6.5 BTC.

If someone has any kind of job(s)/task(s) you think I can complete and is able to pay 6.5 BTC, please let me know and I'll gladly do it for you.

Thank you!

BTW when I say anything I literally mean it... except, obviously, for illegal stuff.
FYI I am skilled in a whole bunch of areas like art, business, technology, writing... I also posses several degrees and previous work experience.
You won't regret hiring me Wink

If you really possess those kind of skills and want to earn legally why not apply for an online job there are so many companies that will take you in if you have the skills not only that there are so many freelance sites where you can offer your service and build your reputation not posting in this forum and literally beg for bitcoin
13857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: December 20, 2015, 06:58:15 PM
It could happen but only a global or world war can make that happen but if there are no world war i don't think the internet could go down but in the worst scenario it could be the end for bitcoin the life of the bitcoins depends so much on the power of the internet they are inter connected

13859  Economy / Goods / Re: Satoshi is Time "Man of the Year" on: December 20, 2015, 06:44:24 PM
Folks, I've release a new product to help promote Bitcoin. It's a cover of Time showing Satoshi as the "Man of the year". I'd love to get your feedback?

http://coinedbits.com/
In my opinion he deserves to be the man of the year not only the man of the year but man of the decade because of what he has done but unfortunately we are still in puzzle who and where is the real satoshi,we should first solve this puzzle once and for all now is the best time another decade and it will impossible to track him
13860  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there a discussion thread on known scammers? on: December 20, 2015, 06:30:19 PM
Well... Although you made the mistake it wasn't your fault. Nobody deserves to get scammed.

To be honest, it wasn't so much of a scam as it was just someone with bad intentions. It was my fault for creating a web app with a security flaw, and someone finding it and taking advantage of it to take everything from my wallet. At the end of the day it's expected, and I should've done more thorough testing on my app before making it live. So I do blame myself. But it doesn't change the fact that this individual was looking for this kind of security flaw so that he could steal bitcoins.
I think the guy he really has an intend to do that and because there is no dispute on bitcoin there is no way you can recover that but you need to blog that or post it on other forum so other developer can take heed about this misfortune but before posting about the guy you need to give a solid evidence that he really stole your bitcoin
