YOU WILL BE BANNED WITHOUT WARNING IF YOU ARE ACTIVE IN THE COMMUNITY..
THIS COIN CRASHED 80% in 2 DAYS..
Mods are mad because this coin crashed so they will BAN you without reason! No matter how much you try to help the community..

🚫❌SCAM COIN❌🚫
❌Joke PUMP AND DUMP COIN❌
‼️SELL NOW do NOT invest ‼️
The DEV condones this sketchy activity as well!

DO NOT INVEST in this coin.. THis is your last warning.. Coordinated SCAM and if you have any concerns about this coin, your BANNED!

Please stop spreading fud, maybe send us some proof before screaming that eBTC is a scam. Also you’re a newbie, what are you doing here other than to spread fud and type in capital letters?

I updated my thread. This is not FUD.. Its a warning to stop these ponzi coins from stealing innocent peoples money!

Im a VERY sucessful investor, this coin has ruined all my earnings!

Really? You call yourself a 'successful investor' based on what? I looked at your portfolio, you're playing penny games with shitcoins.. The text on your own portfolio says "Im new to this.. hopefully one day i will be rich Smiley" Hmmm....

I'm not trying to diss you (we all gotta start somewhere) but to come on here talking big game like you know a thing or two.... Please..

What you basically did my dear, is buy an early coin at a high entry point coz you got caught up in the FOMO and now you're crying coz you're at a loss.. It hasn't even been a month and you're already spreading FUD throughout the forum about eBTC.

It doesn't work that way and you obviously have a few more things to learn before you can call yourself an 'investor'.  Roll Eyes

EDIT: Oh and PS: I'm a female! Shocked I was also fortunate enough to be given 2457 eBTC by Airdrop, and still happily holding them all  Smiley Wink

143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I lost 95 Bitcoin on: October 10, 2017, 11:23:22 AM
REQUEST

Could the OP, or someone knowledgeable on this type of situation, speculate on the ACTUAL mechanism of this attack? What did the OP actually do, that gave away his private key? Was it stolen from the computer's clip board (copy/paste?)

Knowing HOW this kind of stuff happens will make it easier for other people to be more secure.
Thanks

I'm still investigating, I'll update when I find the exact mechanism.

I've also just realised that the attacker took 120 Litecoin from me on the 22nd of September, so my computer had been compromised for at least 18 days.

Ouch man, that's shocking, 100 BTC hurts in anyone's book. You seriously need to speak to a lawyer and go to the authorities, at least for the formality of making a report. PS: These things are usually not random.. Unfortunately, most likely its someone you know.

The lesson for everyone else is: Any more than a couple thousand bucks in coins MUST be kept on a Ledger/Trezor.
And DONT use the same computer for Bitcoin wallets as you do for downloading torrents etc.. Too many people have been burnt this way.
Also do malware scans everyday. I use iObit Advanced System Care and iObit Malware Fighter and these have kept my computers clean for years, highly recommended!

I hope you get to the bottom of this  Cry

Hello fellow Melbournites.. There's many a Bitcoin meetup in our hometown, just look here:
https://www.meetup.com/en-AU/topics/cryptocurrency/au/melbourne/

also:

https://www.meetup.com/en-AU/BlockchainMelbourne/ is a pretty huge one..

I went to one once in 2013.. but haven't been to any networking groups since as I've only really started to take crypto seriously in the last 18months..
I'd be keen to check one out and see what goes on at these things these days.. Not much action in 2013 but I'd assume its different now.

Watching the markets like a hawk between now and end of the month  Wink
Gonna swoop in and stock up on some of my coins when they hit the bottom. I agree that its a bit early to buy still, as I'm expecting the altcoins to drop even further over the next 2 weeks. Then will be stocking up on NEO, Lisk, Ark, Qtum, PivX, Nem, OMG, TenX, Stratis and Litecoin  Wink  Cheesy

150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What You Need To Know To Get FREE Bitcoin Gold During The Fork. on: October 10, 2017, 01:50:24 AM
This a very educative information. I want to know what you mean by desktop wallet. Is it the normal blockchain.info wallet that we all know or is it another type of wallet?

Desktop Wallets are wallets that download to the desktop of your computer, such as:

https://electrum.org (Bitcoin)

https://www.exodus.io/ (Bitcoin and some Altcoins)

I like and use both of these desktop Wallets Smiley
You control private keys with both and both are eligible for the fork snapshot..

152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: October 10, 2017, 01:20:26 AM
People investing an ico and selling them one day later on etherdelta at the half price which is not even a decent exchange.

So they just hate money or they are idiots. I never understand this kind of investment.

Oh god, I hate EtherDelta but if people are selling their REAL tokens on there, I better learn how to use it real quick!!
I'd love to pick up some more than I got from the ICO..

153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: October 10, 2017, 12:57:07 AM
Yes dear, here is a new Airdrops
This is the latest airdrop campaign link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2250036.0
I think this airdrops coin have a good future.

Everyone join this campaign.
It's very carefully because many project are scam.

Good luck

You're joking right?

I hope he is, because that looks dodgy as hell to me..

Watch out this airdrop could be scam. They will sell emails to ad services and anyone who pays. Never use main email for airdrop.

My computer crashed 3 times causing blue screen when I was on this airdrop page created for free on wix.
 https://jonnyda1811.wixsite.com/javascripttoken  WATCH OUT !!!

I have browsed other pages and every time I go to this one my computer crashes causing blue screen. Any thoughts?

Yes, take the hint and don't visit that site anymore..

154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] eBTC | The New (ERC20) Bitcoin on: October 10, 2017, 12:44:52 AM
it would really be nice if something good would come of this.... line the dev team start doing something about the value dropping pretty hard every day!

BTW... when was the last time the dev actually chimed in here on this thread? "with something new"

I'm not sure there's a whole lot that can be done right now. All altcoins are taking a beating right now while the Bitcoin Gold fork is on the horizon..
We might just simply have to wait till the market settles after 25th October to see any recovery..  Wink

Hi community,

PoSToken 2nd Round Airdrop just ended, we'll start distributing tokens ASAP. The distribution will take place over a period of 2-3 days, depending on the Ethereum Network traffice, please be patient.
There're still some claims that need to be reviewed, so the statistics will be published later in more detail. But we're sure that we will have a 3rd round airdrop. If you have any idea and suggestion about 3rd round airdrop, please let us know. Thank you!
Btw, you're free to remove postoken signature now.

Best Regards,
PoSToken Dev Team.

Great stuff PoSToken Dev Team! This was one of the best managed airdrops I've participated in so far. Your airdrop portal is top notch and I really like that it scrapes the info directly from this forum. A very fair and well organised airdrop and if this was anything to go by, you guys have a great future ahead. Many other tokens could learn a lot from you guys, well done  Wink Smiley

Will be watching closely..
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What You Need To Know To Get FREE Bitcoin Gold During The Fork. on: October 06, 2017, 11:00:40 AM

Okay so if you keep bitcoin on electrum, then you are fine right?
So the bitcoin gold will be in your electrum?  I'm confused here.

Keep all your bitcoin in Electrum Wallet during 25th October as the 'snapshot' will be taken from here.. (or any wallet you control private key)
The new currency will not show up in your Electrum, you'll then need to claim it from a Bitcoin Gold Wallet. This can be done anytime after 25th.
Exactly like we did with Bitcoin Cash in August

Also does that mean bitcoin will drop down in price due to this?  Do you have any idea how much bitcoin gold would be worth about?

No one can answer this definitively until it happens. If the last recent fork is anything to go by; bitcoin may dip again while the market wraps their head around the confusion (as it did with BCH) but it will certainly recover, and probably within a shorter span this time because people have already recently experienced a fork and they saw it wasn't the end of the world..

If there is going to be bitcoin gold... then wouldn't it make sense to buy a lot of bitcoin now or right before the fork?  That way you get free money since you get the bitcoin equivalent to bitcoin gold?

Yes it most certainly would. Another great reason to stock up on more Bitcoin!  Cheesy
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP] XENON - Massively Distributed EOS Alt-chain on: October 06, 2017, 07:41:42 AM
Hi is there any news about this airdrop?

Hi Dev, could you plz provide some update

Why is everyone asking the same dumb questions over and over again when the OP outlines everything pretty clearly.

As it says: the snapshot of the Ethereum Wallets will be taken some time between 4th and 6th October. It states pretty clearly that they can't tell you exactly when..

Update: ETHEREUM AIRDROP - Ethereum Network Snapshot taking place from 4th October to 6th October.
- Addresses with more than or equal to 0.1 eth will receive a proportional amount of XNN tokens the following week
 - This will not be directly proportional but will be a diminishing function whereby small holdings receive more
 - An exact time for the snapshot is not possible due to the number of addresses being queried (~700k addresses)
 - Some large addresses such as those held by large exchanges or wallet providers may be excluded from the airdrop
 - We make no guarantees or promises as to the structure or fairness of the airdrop
 - The time taken for distribution will be dependent on ethereum network traffic

Does anyone ever read anything in here??  Roll Eyes

159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: October 06, 2017, 06:09:28 AM
Hi, i think i made a mistake.
after sending the ether for the token sale
i took the Questionnaire but in the "enter your contribution wallet"
Ive put the ether address gave me by real.markets website (where i've send my ether, 0x921...)
The wording was not very clear and I did that wrong.

now i read that I should have put my ethererum address there, to receive the tokens.
Im sending now an email to the CEO (found the email address on their page). What can i do also?

On mist wallet It shows my real tokens balance, and on ethplorer.io it shows my real under Token Balances.
this is for the address where i've send my ether from (myaddress->real.markets address).
So that makes me think Im correct but not sure.

Please help I sent more than 14 ethers Sad thanks
can provide my name/email used for the Questionnaire to real staff, anything.
I just need to fix this and give you my ether address.

u got them didnt u? i dont understand whats ur problem..

Yes I can see the tokens on ethplorer when searching my ether address and on Mist, so that means its correct I suppose.
Also Melissa replied to my PM and she said its ok. Anyone else had this issue?

If you can see them on ethexplorer, then don't stress everything is fine..

160  Other / Meta / Re: How to keep forum clean from similar and crap threads. on: October 06, 2017, 04:49:33 AM
I do agree that Newbies should not be able to create forum threads..
I spend most of my time on this forum just reading and learning and its rather annoying seeing threads started with the same old question again and again. If you're a newbie, chances are, any question you have has already been asked and answered 1000 times before and a simple Google would bring you the enlightenment you seek.. It must be very annoying for the mods..  Undecided

Edit: Example, there are at least 2 threads on the front page of the Meta section asking about how Activity Count works, both ignoring the MAIN POST (also on the same page) explaining exactly that, in fine detail... FFS
