This is gonna sound noobish. But I'm new to mining. I dont have mining hardware & I dont intend on buying it. So I was wondering I I could mine XTL on a laptop? And is there anyone here mining XTL on your laptop using an advanced graphics card?
Yes CPU mining.

Will there be any problems transferring coins from the old wallet to new wallet?
Not if you do a import or recover via seed words. When the new wallet download coming out?

jesus...cryptoknight.cc is currently finding about 15 blocks a minute...that's a rate of over 400 million coins per day...hope this thing gets sorted out soon or some idiot is going to end up w/ 90% stake in a worthless coin
Yes, it reached more than 30 MH for a while to take a large amount of coins while the network hash is only less than 3 MH. It is really very bad. It can make this coin getting to 1 sat, but no one wants to buy. Even if this happened for a short time window it destroys the value of a coin so hard. That dude could dump loads and make every single buy order disappear. The coin was recently forked in order to change the dificulty algorithm. It's been working great. Do we download this wallet now https://github.com/stellitecoin/StelliteGUI ?

well, I am bummed. for a small time miner like myself..it doesn't make sense for me to send hash this coins way when there is 10 mega hash on the network, but when you look at the pools, there is maybe 1 MH... will need to mine elsewhere ... sucks to because I am a fan of the coin Just wait until the hard-fork which will be triggered around Monday. It will make mining fairer and the developers are saying will make it less profitable for NiceHash people. It's high time it's done. will wait. What do you mean by high time? ask StonerStanley Great news

No offense to the Devs and the coin . Its is a good young team and i believe in them .They will do good with this coin But there is two things fake 1. Network hash-rate 2. Price of coin ( whoever is pumping ) is a real amateur Pumping? millions have been bought and sold today. It's a pump...but not an amateur. 1.5btc worth of btc spent in past 24 hours with stable price...that's a hell of an amateur. My 2 cents, pump to 14 sats dump back to 2 sats rinse and repeat I would definitely be very careful. Somebody is clearly trying to manipulate the price atm. Someone is mining 95% of the entire supply every day alone. It's a real shame considering the coin has a proper development team and a great community. Unfortunitely this has been a problem for almost all young cryptonote project recently. What are you saying ? i bought some coin yesterday, today, and someone followed me on the other platforms. So don't make affirmation like that because it's false. I'm not even mining. What are you even talking about. Everything you said made no sense lol. The combined nethash of XTLs pools is about ~1Mh/s if you add them all. Assuming there are a few other miners solo mining we can say the coin has about a ~2Mh/s nethash worth of proper miners. There is a single guy putting in 19-20Mh/s into the coin using a private pool. That single guy is getting about 91% of the block rewards daily. Hence why I am telling people to be careful. The guy could easily inflate the price and dump it on unsuspected buyers. Fortunately the devs are aware and are considering forking the coin to help the issue. Fork if it will fix the problem.

Wow, What's happening. The network hashrate has reached 19 MH/s. But we do not have an idea who is behind these hashes. It could mean the price will jump or just vice verse. Let's see........ The mystery will be opened up.
Up now

Its a new coin same thing happens with every coin the price stays low then boom. XTL is not an ico its a real coin

Scroll down to bottom of this page.. ^^^ Nice work thanks

Why does the whole network have about 7.6 MH/s hash rate? but all listed pools add together only to have less than 1 MH/s hash rate. Is any big farm extracting these coins from their own pool?
What that doesnt make sense

A nice coin with a interesting project.. I liked! Whats happening with the Poll are things changing Monero is hard forking on March 14th. It's changing POW algorithm to be prevent ASIC miners and to remove mass botnets. They want to see if the community wants to follow in that direction as well. So how would you change the coin through coding im a bit confussed

Shit coin?
There will ways be people around who will bash a coin. I'm sure the people in this thread, who dumped ripple when it was 5 stats are regretting listening to the guy who said it was a scam https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1908676.0One guy committed suicide Who committed suicide? And why? Because he sold ripple? Pity the guy who sold ripple at 30cent not worth your life Lol I was one of those guys who had a couple hundred thousand ripple coins and sold them right before it started mooning. Ohh well you can never predict the market. Anywho let's get back to XTL and leave ripple behind xD. The vast majority of CryptoNote coins are forks of Bytecoin using the Forknote tool. These coins are naturally much less developed than the monero code. Coins like INTS, TRTL,XAO,KRB and even ETN initially (they moved to monero b4 launch) are all forknote coins. That in itself is over 80% of all CryptoNote coins out there. You then have a few coins that are forks of the monero chain which don't do anything different except change the emission factor & supply of the coin. This coin is implementing new code consistently, has an active community/dev team and is ACTUALLY working on their roadmap (which can't be said for most coins tbh). Well said plus every roadmap i have ever read never gets it right, you cant predict the future.

Thanks for informing in timely manner ? just don't wonder why the coin will crush today and tommorow.i know hope you know
If that is the case it is better to do it now rather than over 2 years, I guess. Loving it though, sounds more crypto with an X in it STL or XTL which is better name? I personally feel XTL looks a lot more professional. It gives it a more edgy vive to it. I really like the change! Better to take care of it early on than to change it years down the line imo. STL is stellar to me so im happy with XTL
