141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Name the coins you think can catch up with Bitcoin's price in the future? on: December 11, 2017, 10:02:46 AM
Will Ethereum be able to do it?

Ethereum is over hyped and dead tech,

Most interesting are  the z-coins, zen-cash is my favorite, easy to mine, which means, its like 2011 right now

BTG will be supported by china forever and its easy to mine

Sure LTC will be around, but not likely to go up much,

Lot's of good penny coin's, but most are just single guys in moms basement

Zen-Cash has really good marketing, and its founders have all been around the block, they're serious about solving problems,

BITCOIN Classic doesn't give a shit about the problems, these ppl are in denial, they're all rich, and they follow "if it work, then don't fix it model', which means that BTC is now just a bank for rich ppl, and will never be a micro-payment system.

There are +2,000 alt-coins, most are garbage and bullshit,

If you discount the ICO's and BOUNTY's and all the bullshit MLM shit you can cut out 90% of the shit, .. that leaves with a few solid people that are serious about scaling & privacy.

Team BITCOIN-CORE doesn't give a shit about privacy, they know that when google or FANG buys them out the entire reason is to SPY on ppl, thus they work hard to keep BITCOIN open for easy forensic spying.

Monero is cool, but its ECDSA is weak by design, if I wasn't bored of this shit I would fix MONERO problems and deliver a real privacy box that had equihash algo, ...

Enough said, is there a horse that will drink the water if I hold the bucket?
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins under $1 on: December 11, 2017, 09:52:33 AM
Which alt coins are below $1 value that gonna turn in $10 next year.

Need your best suggestion

Flipping a <$1 ICO SCAM coin to +$10 is nothing about tech, its all about the pump&dump, certainly if you get enough ppl in this forum to work in concert and randomly pick a coin, and ramp that coin with every kind of bullshit 24/7, then that coin will rally,

OP should pick a coin, print the list of all +2,000 alt-shit coin, and throw a dart at wall, then report back that you need everybody to send 'x' to the moon.

What alt has the most value under $1?

Bitcoin-Z is nice, and has really good custodial care, music-coin, ... trezar, .. there are bunch of penny coins that are begging to go up 10,000X

Hush is about $1.5 in that area there are some nice coins, they just need to be SHILLED, what you ppl do best.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins under $1 on: December 11, 2017, 09:49:18 AM
Ripple (XRP) would be my shout

Ripple ain't a minable coin, its a token scam.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What is Needed of Alt's to be #2 in BITCOIN world? What's needed to make #1 Cryp on: December 11, 2017, 09:48:04 AM
+2,000 ALT's, most will be gone in 1-2 years, maybe 1/2 dozen will survive above $10, or $50M capitlization

BTC will correct big time, as the HODL'rs have been good dogs since 2013, but now its time to cash-out and diversify those faux billionaires

BTC is thin, so once say 1/2 of the whales sell 1/2, ,then the price will plummet, as the newbs fresh blood is very thin,

We start see whales dumping +1,000 for everyday for months, the cycle up/down will be dramatic, whales don't care cuz they now buy insurance via shorting the cme-brr-gs futures, they can make MOAR money when their whale sale collapses the price, thus MORE volatility

BTC will fail, because it doesn't scale, and its NOT private,

IMHO one of the ALT's will lead, something like MONERO, but the marketing of zen-cash, ethereum is already a has-been,

Most likely serious contender for #2 slot will be an 'alt' from the FANGS for micro-payment and work their way up to bitcoin.

BITCOIN will always be the bank for rich ppl, but it will NEVER be for day-trading or buying coffee

...
Which ALT??

Well look at the problems

1.) No Privacy in BTC
2.) not scalable
3.) too slow for transaction
4.) mysterious creator, nobody responsible to sue for damages
5.) sucky 20+ year old crypto algo nsa sha-256, just waiting to be hacked by public
6.) wallet files that that just sit there and say steal me, decrypt me, and cash me out!

Somebody will step forward to resolve the problems, somebody that ppl trust, a good name, an honest company, ...maybe IBM will deploy Watson? Who knows that the kind of Horsepower this problem needs.

For now BTC is #1 because it was first, but its a DOG, and its privacy sucks, and I will say again, it will never scale; BTC wasn't designed to be the New World Order Currency for people to pay 1 cent to use a toilet in Bangalore, and until somebody resolves this problem, ALT's will fourish.

Ethereum SUCKS don't even mention it, a 10 year old clone BTC with java-script as a script kiddy language, current byte-code engine of BTC is probably ok for scipting, its essentially just like python internals

146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Want PROOF that Ethereum Sucks & is Dead? Look at GITHUB ... Nada Dev on: December 11, 2017, 09:27:50 AM
I use github daily in crypto development, but what I have seen in past year with ethereum is not a single thing works, nothing has been added or maintained for years, its like everything was done in 2013, and wonder-boy then retired and moved to 'club med', or wherever man-child crypt billionaires go when they start growing hair on their balls.

But what's what worse is the dev support for the ether python tools or json, ... nada nothing works, all written for python 2.0, ...

It's like a ghost-town, walking around github and trying to find tools for ethereum, why is this? Why does NOBODY maintain on ether?

Most likely its because everybody works on BITCOIN, where there is immediate wealth and tips and feedback, but on ether, its just NADA, most of the coin is held in a few miserly hands, and that says it all,

sure GETH works, no problem, but that's because they get paid, its cream right off the top of ether? what 3% goes to dev's, but 2nd tier, 3rd teir dev's who add the real infrastructure or 3rd party open-source app's? For getta about it!

Anybody has a clue why nobody maintains what the create for ether? My only guess can be is that there was no reward,

Yet in the BITCOIN github world people are generous, and dev's that maintain their code are rewarded,

WHY?
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Futures at CBOE on: December 11, 2017, 08:47:40 AM
Hi

i have a quick question regarding the going live of Bitcoin Futures at the CBOE.
Need they to be covered in real Bitcoins or is that a complete stand alone OTC market?

I hope its a OTC, the crypto market should not be influenced by the traders of that lottery trading.
Thanks

Its a US DOLLAR CASH MARKET, no BTC are involved

It's a derivative meaning its nothing to do with BTC

Think of it as a FOOTBALL POOL ran by mafia where you bet on future team score, in this case the bookie is goldman-sachs CME/BRR/GS

The bookie doesn't touch the ball, the bookie doesn't have contact with players,

Same here the futures market just uses the exchange prices to average the price, but the customers buy bets as to whether the price go up/down and how much, in this case they bet on blocks of FIVE(5) BTC, and bet how much UP/DOWN. If they own 1,000 BTC and sell at an exchange and the price drops, then they can cover the loss because if the sold a 'short' on the futures market then say BTC drops $15k to $10k, they make $25k, that's block of 5, but they sold 1,000, so they make $500k on the price drop. If the price of BTC doesn't drop no loss, its just insurance.

[ my current understanding is the price of the block of five for the trade is currently $400, thus in the case the profit on each would be $5k less $400, or $4600, THE HOUSE ALWAYS TAKES ITS POUND OF FLESH, its ZOG-GS]

The only ppl who will use this futures trade is WHALES that need to buy insurance so that if their BTC sell transaction causes the price of BTC to plummet the futures 'short' will make them rich to cover the loss on drop of price back at BTC

Now that there is insurance to DUMP BTC, everybody is going to cash out.

148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin wallet be copied or cloned? on: December 11, 2017, 08:38:29 AM
you shouldn't be  downloading random wallets from the internet and use them with your private keys and also whenever you import/export private keys you must make sure that the environment is safe enough. if you lost your bitcoins you may have had some keylogger or some other type of malware that stole it from you.

ppl shouldn't be doing a lot of thing, and these are the same ppl telling their grand mother to BUY BITCOIN

If its on the INTERNET and its FREE, then its a SCAM

Rule #1 of BITCOIN, don't have more money in BTC than your willing to lose, cuz its easier to lose than to obtain.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin wallet be copied or cloned? on: December 11, 2017, 08:35:43 AM
Hi,

I had sent myself 2 transaction for .0748458 and 1.1147815 from an exchange to my other wallet.
The blockchain.info shows the transaction has been confirmed and then another transaction of the total amount being sent out.

https://blockchain.info/address/18EC8axfZZBj5rM3wfnVAZCPmuBP3v5E7r#
I have checked my wallet BTC history and there is no deposit or withdrawal of the amounts missing. Could my wallet address been cloned to receive and then used again to send out? Which part could be compromised.... the person sending out the BTC or the bitcoin wallet receiving side?

If a person is proficient enough then i believe that there is a world in which this can be cloned, copied or wven duplicated. However we just have to hope that security measures are being done to stop this as hackers are roaming around and circling

If you have ever looked at porn on your computer, then there is a key logger installed.

If you have a key logger, then you have a bot that looks for wallets and sends them home.

End of story.

This is why ppl are told to only do stuff with wallets offline on cold system booted that don't have browsers or any vector to a bot logger, or russian mafia
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin wallet be copied or cloned? on: December 11, 2017, 08:33:38 AM
NO bitcoin wallet can't copied or cloned. Because it is very unique wallet. So it is not so easy to cloned or copy bitcoin wallet.

I steal your wallet.dat file from your system.

Just install BITCOIND on a fresh machine, with YOUR wallet.dat file intact and bingo its MY wallet,if its encrypted, then I use jack-the-ripper to find the password on the wallet.

If somebody gains access to your wallet.dat file, then its theirs, this is why ppl have fire walls on their computer, or never run bitcoind with open ports
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / 1 FANG Coin to Rule ALL? Or each FB,APPL,AMAZ,GOOGLE have own Crypto? on: December 11, 2017, 08:26:36 AM
when an idiot in moms basement makes a btc clone

when google releases its own token-dev-kit,

these two are not the same

'GOOGLE is NSA' - PUTIN

That's all U need to know

...

But I agree, whatever comes from the FANGS will not be the btc block-chain of satoshi, it will be a centralized system of control hardwired to ZOG

...

IMHO the FANG's will work together and develop the one centralized TOKEN that rules them all, with PALANTIR front center (CIA)

FANG's are just friendly faces for NSA/CIA, so they can control the world,

Once the FANGS announce a crypto, then they can take the micro-payment market and work their way up to BITCOIN ( crypto for rich ppl )
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook & Google creating its own Crpytocurrency! on: December 11, 2017, 08:22:44 AM
when a company, or similarly a country, a bank, a financial firm,.... creates a new coin based on bitcoin using the blockchain technology, they are always creating a centralized token and that is a creating huge difference. it may seem like nothing in words but in reality the difference between bitcoin being decentralized and global without any kind of restrictions regarding usage whatsoever and a centralized token that a company issues is a huge one.

they can try and make their own version and many of them are doing it, but in the end it will be just another altcoin in  a sea of altcoins.

153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook & Google creating its own Cryptocurrency! on: December 11, 2017, 08:19:30 AM
Your thoughts on Facebook and Google creating its own Cryptocurrency. I know BTC is the pioneer in cryptocurrencies and currently has the highest value but if this two giant companies will release their own cryptocurrencies I don't think anyone would want miss that. Its not impossible right? Similarly Other companies like twitter & Youtube and even UBER can also dig into cryptocurrencies. If major companies can consider BTC as their main cryptocurrency, BTC value will definitely skyrocket.

You made me think they are really going to release a crypto. Tongue

HELL YES THEY will

almost the entire earth is already glued to facebook, thus perfect place to put the wallet

Amazon will have their own, and google is nsa, so they will have their own,

Once fb, amaz, and google have their crypto's in place, that will be your micro-payment platform,

Google already has your real-id

Facebook has your life history

amazon knows your needs

Tie this all together and BIG-BROTHER gets a real hard-on

BITCOIN is just a bank for rich ppl
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / BITCOIN is a "Secured Investment" Yes or No? This is a Question for the SHills on: December 11, 2017, 08:14:34 AM
The moronic shills keep calling BITCOIN an investment, its NOT

An investment involves collateral, that you can always get back,

BITCOIN is a SPECULATION, its GAMBLING, its based on moronic promises and false hopes that it will go to the moon.

You can't 'secure' BITCOIN, sure you sell bitcoin for cash, use that cash as security, anywhere on earth, but nobody is going to accept your BITCOIN, other than its FACE-VALUE at the time of deposit.

Today's BTC futures is 100% is CASH US-DOLLARS

...

In summary BITCOIN is NOT an investment, its speculating, its gambling, please stop the bullshit

Even BITCOIN.ORG call's BITCOIN a "speculative investment', meaning its like betting on horses at the race tracks

https://bitcoin.org/en/faq

...

Secured means you hold title, it means you can go to court and repo your property, but BITCOIN is just a number in the sky, sure in time perhaps somebody will escrow coin, and these things do exist for RICH PEOPLE, but were talking about moronic shills trying to get rich,

The places in the mountains of Switzerland for keeping BITCOIN safe are for RICH PPL, not for the moronic day traders who live at home with their parents.

It's all based on greater fool theory, and by reading this forum, the greatest fools have been found,

Finding new fools to invest in BTC, is problematic at best.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Powering case fans for a noise reducing enclosure on: December 11, 2017, 07:50:04 AM
YOUR GOING TO BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN Smiley

'your going to shoot your eye out'

[ Enclosed 1200Watt heaters in a home are an arsonists wet dream ]

...

Well honestly, just go to KMART or WALMART and buy a bunch of 18" chinese fans for $20 each, and plug them in, and blow all the air out to where your wish,

Problem is sound enclosure your S-9 sounds like a jet engine, and so you would need 2feet of fiber-glass to muffle the sound, but to pass the fresh air in with the fans, you would need an open hole, where the jet engine sound would get out,

Seriously, what I do in this case with D3 & S9 I put them out in the chicken-house, err motorcycle-shop, and have a wifi-bridge talk back to the main-house, this stuff really needs to be OPEN,

I never put an enclosure on kind kind of miner, sealed or GPU, even a GPU card in a box, needs to have the cover removed, soon as you ensclose this shit it goes from 60C to +80C, best to run under 68C for long equipment life,

The ANTIMER BITMAIN shit is jet engine LOUD 90DB, U really need farm property, or an industrial setting to run this shit.

Some guys enclose them in boxes in their garage and exhaust, but still its awful loud and if you got neighbors your screwed

A walk-up attic with good insulation would work

Personally what I do with ALL miners is use commercial restaurant racks that are stainless and open grates, on each level have the 2ft kmart chinese fans blowing air sideways and in front of each gpu or s-9 have smaller 12v fans, these fans need 100ma, thus if you got 10 your pulling a full amp, and need proper power, most people just go to the junk yard and get old cpu power supplys, or hell buy a new one at frys for $10, the little fans can be had for $3,

But having the big 2ft/120cm  box fans blow sideways on each level of rack is really critical

SOunds like your problem is a NOISE problem, and the main solution there is an external garage or chicken coup, or hell dig a hole and do an underground rig, thats what we do at BURNING-MAN we dig a hole bury the gas generators and you don't hear shit, lots of ways to contain sound.

But you don't want an enclosure unless you can MOVE  massive volume of air, as you just asking for a HOUSE FIRE, ... IMHO

...

Summary power supply, just get used cpu, or buy cheap new, say 300w for $10, put a paperclip on the cpu connector so it turns on ( see internet )

I would not use mobile or common 1amp pwr-supply, they're not designed for fans, use a real cpu pwr supply so you don't have a FIRE

cpu power supplys have cooling and automatic shut-off, you need this,

You really need to fuss with ARDUINOS and learn how to control stuff these days, all the stuff you need can be got from an arduino kit relays and such so you can control your cooling/sound proofing over the internet with an arduino/rasberry-pi controlling your miners with a double-pole relay for each 30amp miner on 220v
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Get Rich Trading Bitcoin - Post CME Future's Day on: December 11, 2017, 07:30:36 AM
Lool and it's true. It's always quicker to win when rich but anyway everybody can become rich in crypto Wink

Method above requires $20M in BTC, and $2M in cash to play futures cash market, thus $22M is chump change,

Upon reading this forum I think $15K is considered 'rich'

A known known is actual balance of addresses with balance is 0.05 BTC, that be $750 USD, avg bank bal of USA public is $500 USD

Nobody is rich, and these poor idiots who think they can turn their $500 credit-card cash on 0.05 BTC into a million, are well ... idiots.

Nobody get's rich, you start off rich,

Having BTC back in 2009 is largely a game of luck, hell I was mining in 2012, and I tossed all the hard-disks over the years, because most of the software was so full of viruses I couldn't tolerate to mine, and I had a ton of GPUS back then,

Things are much better now, don't see much virus, use github.com code and always verify code and make my own mods, back in 2013 it was mostly pre-compiled shit on window's, now its 100% linux, and its super easy and safe to mine without any problems.

...

I think its stupid to BUY BTC, or any coin, just mine it, ... most of the alt's you can get 2,000/day, and just keep acquiring different alt's some of them are bound to go up.

Problem now with BTC is that your not going to see any more 100X gain, so the alt's are a more likely way to get the big returns

Don't put real cash into BTC or Alt's, just mine the shit, and get coin for free, that way you don't got no skin in the game some day when it all evaporates, and it will it always does, these MANIAS always end the same, in all human history.

...

People who got rich in BTC were the people who acquired it for $1 back pre 2013 and held it and didn't lose their private key.

I still think money can be made in BTC, but its recovering all the lost coin, from the past, that's where the action is now and future for miners.

Mining new coin BTC is a game owned by China, and sending your money to BITMAIN to buy 'locked' hardware.

There's still lots of ways to get 'mildly wealthy' in BTC, BCH is doing fine, and BTG is being supported and its GPU friendly.

...

Biggest problem with this shit, is like Satoshi, you can acquire but you can NEVER SPEND, sort of like Hotel California, once you spend, then they ID you, and its game-over.

If Satoshi were ever ID'd he would be a dead man, hell 1,000's of ppl would kidnap and torture him for his private keys, ... this is some sick shit.

Jack Ma say's that anybody with $1M+ BTC will be a marked man for life, I concur, INTERPOL/NSA will mark anybody for life as being a CRYPTO-RICH guy, you will be treated as a VIP ( cop talk for perp ) for the rest of your life, thinks custom entry points and passports

Once they mark u, then the burden is on u to prove it no longer in your control, .... too many ppl all over the world, especially 'gov' can make u dissapear like 'black-bag' v for vendetta, cuz they know there will be NO EVIDENCE of a crime, ... just easy money for criminal goverment, and all ZOG agents

159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How to Get Rich Trading Bitcoin - Post CME Future's Day on: December 11, 2017, 07:06:04 AM

You need leverage because it's really hard to make money trading an asset that only has 20% daily swings.

You can also use futures as a hedge against the underlying on a XBT exchange.

If you want to dump a lot of BTC (lots and lots) you can short with leverage on the futures exchange, dump your coins to beat down the price, then cover your short. Then buy back at the current, low price. Ka-ching!

There U have it, all U need is 1,000's of BTC to dump on the market, and $100's of Thousands of USD to cover your shorts and you can get rich trading BTC.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Will Majority Here Still deny Reality after BTC Collapses? Your Number $5k? $1k? on: December 11, 2017, 06:49:03 AM
What point will u call bitcoin a collapse? 10% has been normal, now 20%, ...

Just this week 30%,

Slowly the past year has changed rather than the 'V' bounce, now a bounce-back up is uncertain.

Certainly the BTC game has changed.

Also in past when BTC went down, the ALT's went up, now all has gone down, which clearly shows that ppl are pulling back from ALL CRYPTO, this is new.

...

So the question is at what point do people fold here? Just curious

BTC has gone up some 10X year 2 year, and these 'bubbles' are common in all human history, and they always end the same, with the ICON becoming worthless

This time is different is a recurrent  theme, and as always the MORONS are the biggest defenders of BTC

What's certain is that the WHALES want out, and before the selling of 'shorts' today, there was no insurance for an exit, as if you sell $1M in BTC the price will collapse, but now you can buy a short and cover your $1M sale, and if the price collapses you even make more money if your a whale.
