I know the article is almost a month old, but maybe some of the new interested ones don't know yet that Cova is open source.
I'm also wondering if there are any programmers here who have looked at the source code in more detail.

Glad to see the price of Cova has recovered. Today among the Top 20 Biggest Gainers of the day on CMC.
Now probably all of them have sold their Airdrop tokens. Soon there will be no cheap tokens anymore:-)

have they distributed their airdrop token i would really like to know because i am expecting tokens from the team, i personally believe cova will be an all-time gainer they have some cool tech idea

The Airdrop tokens distributed over Bitmax are locked, so you can't sell them at the moment.
I don't know what this looks like with tokens that Cova sent directly (or not yet).
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Good Mining Project on: January 05, 2019, 11:22:15 PM
Mining is usually the most tedious thing to do, but with Whalesburg, mining is made easy on a user friendly environment, in fact it's worth a try. Seems to have different things, not a bad idea to start mining from here again.

I didn't even know Whalesburg yet. Another new mining project. I have to take a look at it. As already mentioned here by others, I also find Neuroneum more interesting. There you can simply buy the computing power of the other users in the future, or make your own available. This is an interesting new approach, which reminds me a lot of Seti@home, if anyone knows it. But there were no tokens for that:-)

According to the roadmap, the ICO is due to close at the end of January, but public sale has not even begun yet. Does anyone have a date when it starts? Main Sale will probably only last 30 days.
You sure about mainsale running only 30days?
If that so then i don't thing it's enough for any project in this current market condition! They should expend it!

The roadmap says that they started a private sale round in December 2018. And according to a Telegram admin, the first round of their token sale starts on May 1st this year.

What, the main sale doesn't start until May 1st? That is still very long. They are probably of the opinion that the market will recover by then and there will be a friendlier environment for ICOs. . We will see whether this is the case

I would love to learn more about setting up a COVA node. Has the team posted any content or videos on how to launch a node? I've always imagined it is quite a difficult task.

I found this link here in the information about the test net. It also describes how to make a node run.

More information can be found at github

I dont know the thing is most of the other crypto-fiat cards havent really been successful i think its a market thats pretty wide open still so theirs no reason for a project like this to not try to make their own way in the field, and even if their was a big one to work with theirs no reason their has to be a monopoly at even that point, decentralized small groups are better

I had the same thought too. I have never actually seen testimonies of someone that has used any crypto related cards before. I know the regulation is not easy on them. How are they going to deal with this issue?

It's true that projects like TenX had problems with their cards. I think it was VISA that blocked a lot of crypto debit cards. The question is, will Neuroneum have similar problems with the card providers? Then it would make no sense to make their own card.

At the moment there are probably many projects that try to bring out a crypto credit card, but somehow this does not seem to be getting through yet. I haven't heard anything about the problems of TenX yet, but I can imagine that Visa doesn't make it very easy for crypto currencies. They may have their own plans

I'm really hoping that we see a lot of announcement for partnerships i'd love to see some effort to maybe partner with something like brave to integrate the tech into that kind of platform perhaps further down the line once ease of use and accessibility are in a good state.

yeah, partnership is going to push COVA to great height i would advice they secure more partnership and also get more activities on their social media

They already have strong partnerships. For example, they are part of IOST/Bluehill and have just recently signed partnerships with Palatine Analytics and Perlin. But yeah, the more partnerships the better and the faster adoption can take place.

what's the current worth of the token and where can I get them?
I mean I need the direct link for purchase
Thanks

Do you mean the link to an Exchange? Then you can buy tokens here on Bitmax Cova.
https://bitmax.io/#/trade/usdt/cova
Either with BTC, ETH or USDT
The price is currently around 0.0017$. Pretty cheap, if you ask me:-)

I've honestly been waiting to see more projects take advantage of spare compute power theirs been talk and options in the past i mean they seem to keep coming out with new ways that we can decentralize more and more tech industries

i am beginning to understand how neuroneum wants to operate instead of creating a cloud mining platform they are creating a shared mining platform where users can shared mining rig.

I also thought its just a cloud mining platform in the first instance. Then realized its having much more things to do. Especially plug and play mining is very attractive.

Have a read at the whitepaper which can be found in the website neuroneum.io to learn a lot about the program
It have met other misunderstanding as well from me but the whitepaper was quite clear

Well, their whitepaper looks a bit deterrent on the first glance with more than 130 pages. But for everyone who wants to get  a quick overview about the key aspects of the project they have a shorter business summary.

130 pages is quite a lot. I have never seen such a detailed whitepaper before.
I haven't had time to look at it yet, but as my interest in this project grows more and more, I will take the time in the next few days to study the whitepaper in detail. I would really like to earn some coins with my not needed computing power:-)
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔵🔵🔵[ANN] Covalent.ai – A Smart Policy Platform 🔵🔵🔵 on: January 01, 2019, 06:51:33 PM

Yes and blaming an airdrop to destroy the price is the wrong way to think about it. If you create enough demand an airdrop shouldn't do much at all.

Airdrop participants did not actually receive much and only a few got the tokens too and mostly from the bitmax listing candy airdrop and I doubt if it will be able to dump the price.

although there were only a few Airdrop tokens, the price went down. That surprises me. Did Private Sale participants sell their bonus tokens? That would surprise me, but in times like these everything seems to be sold immediately:-)

The price per token in the private sale was 0.00003125 ETH. I doubt that investors from the private sale would sell their tokens with a loss just after the first listing on an exchange. Especially when they knew that this project is a long shot when they decided to invest.

I'd be surprised, too. But do we know how high the bonus was for the private sale? It is often the case, no matter how promising a project is, that investors sell a part of the bonus tokens to minimize their risk.
Personally I like this tactic, because then I can still buy cheap tokens after the ICO:-)

Hi NEURONEUM team!

Have you plans of Bitcointalk signature campaign for your project?
If so I could help in Signature creation. Feel free to contact me if interest in.

Also you can check my portfolio: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5063787.0
I don't think there will ever be any any Bounty for Neuroneum at first place! Looking at their Total token distribution they did not planned any share for Bounties! But i'll definitely want to participate their bounty if they arranges any!

Just go back a few pages. criptix already confirmed that there will be a bounty campaign for Neuroneum (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5086307.msg48898152#msg48898152) so I guess a Signature campaign will be part of it, too.

I just read about Neuroneum in another thread and ended up right here. It all looks very good, the more I am happy that there will be a bounty campaign. I would like to provide my signature
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: what are the best cloud based mining projects available ? on: December 30, 2018, 08:51:12 PM
Im reading clowdmining all the time. But this isnt clowdmining. I mean there is no central hardware for wich you have to pay high fees. Its decentral and therefore you pay much less than for other companies.

Yeah, that is true. As I already mentioned before, Neuroneum isn't only about cloudmining. They also have a strong focus on cloud computing. Just like the golem project or elastic. So if you don not like to mine (pay other users for their computing power to mine), you can sell your own unused computing power with Neuroneum.

Just what I thought. You can sell your computing power when you feel it’s no more profitable mining. What lease does Neuroneum offer different to similar projects?

so it's like "world community grid" where i provide computing power. But i get real coins for it here? that sounds really interesting, i have to take a closer look at that

There are a few projects working on data as a capital. Covalent smart protocol unlike these projects takes a a step ahead with its amazing features. Here’s an article on what makes COVALENT unique, you might want to read this one; https://docs.covalent.ai/#unique-cova-nyx-features-and-solutions

True. Data is key for COVA. Very interesting article. Thanks for sharing it here. Are they going to sell their tokens or not?

there was only a private sale, there was no public sale. but you can already buy huobi and bitmax tokens. The prices are still very interesting at the moment, you should have a look at it

It is just ideas, original ones.
From which, there are so many things need to be done in order to turn all these innovative ideas into real apps, services.
So, I propose all you waiting for more days or even weeks before making judgements on the project.

Of course, at first glance, it looks good.

Of course we have to wait until Cova has really started. This is like with all the other ICOs, we "only" buy promises and hope for the best:-)
But at Cova these promises sound very good, so I look positively into the future.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 [ANN][ICO] BITFENCE - REMOVE HACKERS FROM YOUR NETWORK on: December 29, 2018, 09:58:38 PM
Is there anyone here who deals with mining? I tried for weeks, but didn't get any rewards. And there are no other users in the telegram-channel who have already been successful. I'm beginning to doubt that this really works.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔵🔵🔵[ANN] Covalent.ai – A Smart Policy Platform 🔵🔵🔵 on: December 29, 2018, 09:29:39 PM

Yes, I know that their own blockchain (CovaChain) is still in its testnet stage. But their ERC20 tokens aren't just placeholders. Once their mainnet goes live, there will be both ERC20 tokens and coins on the CovaChain iirc.

both tokens should really continue to run in parallel? Until now I always thought that the ERC20 tokens would be converted by a token swap.
I have to read through the whitepaper again, maybe it says which sense it makes to keep both tokens

Are there going to be two type of tokens? I don't think so. I just know they will be on 2 blockchains. Theirs and the Ethereum blockchain. The Ethereum blockchain will be were their tokens will be based on.

Now it gets a little confusing for me:-)
Why should you run a token on two blockchains? That doesn't make sense to me. I almost believe that this is a series of misunderstandings and that after a token swap there will only be one token on one blockchain. This is how it sounds most logical to me
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔵🔵🔵[ANN] Covalent.ai – A Smart Policy Platform 🔵🔵🔵 on: December 29, 2018, 07:21:15 PM
I know the CovaChain is still a work in progress and it will probably take some time before their own blockchain goes live but does anyone know if the coins on their CovaChain will be 1:1 granted to the holders of the ERC20 tokens? Otherwise their vested block reward tokens wouldn't make sense, right?

To my knowledge yes, you'd have to double check their documentation but thats what makes sense to me as far as they have been developing and they want to make sure that early holders and developers get their moneys worth from early investments

But will the ERC20 tokens that are in the block reward pool then be burned after the CovaChain launched? It doesn't make sense to have ERC20 tokens for block rewards.
As per my knowledge They have their own Blockchain which is in public testnet stage! Most project releases their ERC20 token before starting the main net in begining! This to help you Investor not wait any further while they continues with the development! You will get block reward only when they releases main net!

I am not sure if it has answered anywhere before but does anyone of you guys know how Cova will monetize their platform? I mean, right now they have still funds from the private sale but how will they earn money once the protocol goes live?

That’s a good question. I always wondered why a Smart Internet Protocol would need a token. Although, it’s all protected and users still got control over personal data. Why does Covalent internet protocol need a token?

Yes it sure is a good Question. Covalent isn’t just about an internet protocol (COVA://). Although this makes the structure on which a secure data marketplace could be created. $COVA would be used for all Transactions on Covalent data marketplace. I hope this helped.

I read this blog on Cova, and it makes more sense now. https://coins.newbium.com/post/24415-data-on-covalent-smart-internet-protocol
Cova would create a marketplace for data. Here all transactions are made using COVA tokens. You can be a data owner, MT or SMH. You should read the article.

thanks for sharing, that's really very interesting. I hadn't asked myself this question yet.
It becomes interesting how much you can earn with your own data. If you want to sell it
