141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases? on: December 22, 2017, 04:43:33 PM
There are few things you can do:
1. Buy some more
2. HODL for long term
3. Relax, it will get back on track

But, the very important thing you have to do is to not sell. Sell only when it's high and buy when it's low. The rule of trading.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time to buy now? top coins lost almost about 50% of their ATH on: December 22, 2017, 04:06:33 PM
hi, i am a noob. wanted to buy but high prices scared me. now it's down and it scares me too. do you think we expect a comeback soon or even bigger drop?

Nope when you say they are down by 50%, do consider the fact that it is due of BTC fall. All coins are BTC proportional and you are seeing everything red because BTC is red by huge variant. Just change the base currency from "BTC" to "USD" and you will see real market.
Now about market price and suggestion to buy coins. My answer would be 'NO'. It is presently better to buy BTC only. If you buy any other big cap coin, its rise would be less than BTC till New Year. BTC will on another rally as minimum viable point has been reached. Now onwards, it will on run to $18K and possibly $20K by New Year. Wink
I strongly disagree with you. Let's say Bitcoin becomes 50.000% in 2 months. That's a 400% price increse (taking in consideration the current price).
If you would invest in a different coin, an altcoin, you could experience a 1000%-5000% increase.
When Bitcoin reached 19 000$, some altcoins had a 3000% price increase!
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018? on: December 22, 2017, 03:13:13 PM
I'm planning to buy some ETH, will it hit $1000 in 2018?

Need your suggestions

Certainly! It hit almost $900 this year, imagine that it only needs 15% to get to to $1000. I think there are good chances we get there.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get in while you still can!! on: December 22, 2017, 12:44:27 PM
That coin is backed by large Bitcoin investors so there is a chance that the price will get manipulated enough for people to want to invest. It's risky though.

Any coin investment is risky. I'd say it that coin has the interest of so many Bitcoin investor is a good pick. I am planning to get into it myself.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest when broke? on: December 22, 2017, 09:46:59 AM
Where would I offer any services or go to beg Tongue or whatever to invest when you are broke like me and cannot invest? Is there a place I can go to get started ? I am new to crypto in general.

Ne need for that. You can keep your dignity and apply for Signature Campaign, Airdrops, Translation Campaigns. There are plenty of things you can do to earn crypto!
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is investing in Bitcoin simply buying and selling Bitcoin? on: December 22, 2017, 07:42:59 AM
Is this true? Is this the only way? Or there are other more ways?
Buying and Selling Bitcoin would go to trading, but, if you buy and hold, yes, that would be considered an investment. It's that simple.
147  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the causes of climate change? on: December 19, 2017, 03:02:47 PM
It's us 100%. I really have high hopes that the blockchain tehnology will help us make a change and switch to renewable energy.
148  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: December 19, 2017, 02:54:13 PM
We all know the advantages of BTC, but what are some of the disadvantages??

The taxes I would say! But it could also be the coins supply. More coins would've meant a lower price, a better usability for the masses.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How should I distribute my 0.65 BTC? on: December 19, 2017, 02:49:45 PM
I already hold ~20k Cardano (ADA) that I bought on 750-1100 Sat. But I'm a bit hesitative as to what to do with my 0.65 BTC. If you had to pick 3 alts to distribute it on, which ones would they be?

I'd say pick around 10 alts. This way you will be safer. Diversify for security.
150  Economy / Economics / Re: May Or May Not any Digital Currency disturb Any country's Economics?? on: December 19, 2017, 10:09:38 AM
Huh

It depends, probably in a small country if everyone start using a crypto currency and left over creditcards, they economy may collApase.

I agree, governments have to addapt to crypto. Mass adoption should soon happen, and when it's gonna happen, we need to be prepared for the crisis.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 7000$ to invest for 2018 on: December 19, 2017, 09:49:02 AM

152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta Gone ?!?!?! on: December 19, 2017, 08:52:05 AM
I tried withdrawing with etherdelta but it says that I don't have the required balance.

I saw the chat and lots of people are experiencing this issue.

Someone knows what's happening ? Are they gone ?

Etherdelta might be descentralized and might have alot of coins but at user experience is bad.
153  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: December 19, 2017, 08:29:27 AM
Gold has been the standard currency since the beginning of time. Paper money and shares of stock would be rendered useless in times of war. In ELE or Extinction Level Events, even bitcoin would be useless. Have you seen Doomsday Preppers? Gold is the standard.
Indeed, gold has a history while Bitcoin is rather new.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big Day for Ripple (XRP) tomorrow? on: December 17, 2017, 06:45:42 PM
Today I wouldn't be surprised if people started rushing to buy more Ripple due to the fact that there is much speculation that there will a major announcement in the news regarding Ripple being used by major banks or corporations, especially since Coinbase is supposedly going to be adding new altcoins to their trading platform and Ripple is rumored to be a top candidate. Also, further adding to that speculation is this recent mysterious development regarding an extremely large transaction record:

https://oracletimes.com/ripple-xrp-someone-just-bought-700-million-usd-in-xrp-major-investment/

What do you guys think? Will Ripple be added to Coinbase? Will major banks be replacing the ancient SHIFT system in favor of Ripple? I personally believe both are very likely to happen considering evidence floating around on the internet; the above article being one example.

Aside from the $700 million investment, how far can it go? We shall see.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2018 on: December 17, 2017, 06:37:39 PM
The journey of bitcoin from 2009 to 2017 is very interesting. Although the stories of individuals(investors) are very interesting and motivational that how they initiated and what problems they faced at earlier stages.

In 2017 the number of businesses accepting bitcoin continues to increase. Where you see the bitcoin in 2018?

I just have my finger corssed and hope for the best. I know Bitcoin won't dissapoint

157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with bandwidth. The next big thing? on: October 17, 2017, 10:51:21 AM

158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: interest in bitcoin is increasing on: October 17, 2017, 10:32:09 AM
I doubt bitcoin will ever be more stable, crypto is way too new to be stable. I just hope bitcoin will drop a bit in the next 3 months so I can get a good entry point.
159  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good time to get into crypto? on: October 17, 2017, 10:01:47 AM
I think you should've kept doing it in 2011, I can't imagine how much you regret it now. I believe it's still a good time to enter, as crypto is not mainstream yet and people barely know about it.
160  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange Bittrex began to block accounts!!! on: October 17, 2017, 09:22:12 AM
This is the reason I prefer to have a wallet on my PC not on a website. It's more secured and you have full control, nobody can block you.
