how to put my prediction??

Register first. Then go to open bets, click on one of them, and enter your prediction with the sliding brackets.
confirm, and see how it goes.

This is awesome. Just what I was looking for.
Reminds me of sparkprofit.

Sparkprofit is really awesome (didnt mean to hijack post at all) Its a stock market game- you make predictions, and gain points if correct. The top guessers each week earn money, which you can cash out to bitcoins too. Tongue) Id throw my ref link for it here, but Im way to lazy for that.

Anyways- I recommend this game. No risk- its fun. It will give you a better understanding about the psychology behind the btc price as well. And if you win, its a good 100-300mbtc. Smiley

145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Value Now Vs Later on: August 08, 2014, 03:34:22 AM
Ive been into the altcoin market for a while now. Initially it was seen as a 'lost cause' and 'non profitable'
but hey, that's exactly what they said about bitcoin.

Ive never invested actually dollars into altcoins but i've traded with them via bitcoin and collected free handouts when coins first started up.
The profit yield is rather high now. At the time 100s of 1 coin would be worth like 1 dollar if cashed out to bitcoin then into your home currency, now its something like 100 bucks. All for free.

The point I want to bring up is the complete irrelevance of the value of the altcoin at the moment. The only thing that matters is staying consistent. I mean, don't get me wrong, it would be great if the value on certain coins would shoot up the way that bitcoin did, but perhaps anti-productive..

Say your altcoin is worth 0.001 btc. The value doesn't need to go up in order for it to be valuable. The price of bitcoin just needs to go up (which it probably will) and as long as it keeps the current value of 1coin/0.001btc the value still goes up.

Remember- its all psychological. If people support a coin- it will hold value. Keep interest in the coin long enough for the price of bitcoin to go up, and you may have just made a good amount of money.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2015 on: August 08, 2014, 02:26:26 AM
idk about a year or so ago, I was watching anoncoin and megacoin both closely. I felt they both offered something unique and would be worth something in the future.

Unfortunately, my desktop was unable to be accessed anymore, and I lost my hundreds of free coins from each.

Today, I think the collective total was worth about 400 bucks? (estimated, naturally)

It's kinda easy to pick out which coins will do well. Its about originality and what they offer.
Most people in the altcoin business are here because of btc. If the coin offers something of value to btc, the value will naturally increase with time.

try coinchoose.com to get info about each altcoin, with graphs and profitability in relation to btc.

I would really love this domain. I've always, always wanted to start up my own website.
I want that satisfaction at the end of the day knowing I did something, ya know?

Ideally, I would love to create a nice, working gambling site- or in the very least an informative location for all things bitcoin. I feel as though Ive been around long enough to steer people in the right way.

Thanks for the chance mate. Smiley

150  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [Primedice.com] Free 0.005 BTC giveaway! on: August 06, 2014, 07:54:16 PM
Stunna wouldn't risk his reputation on a 0.005 freebie.
If you didn't get paid you weren't in on time.
If you were, its an error (shit happens) and contact him, he will double check and you'll be fine.

I won on the facebook contest- and definitely got paid.
(it was really awesome. gambled it up to 0.17 before I cashed out)

I really don't think it matters if he pays out or not.
It requires nothing but simple text on a screen. What risk is there really?
152  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: i want to give 100 BTC to one user on bitcointalk. tell me why it is U. on: August 06, 2014, 01:11:54 PM
100BTC..

Well, for starters I would get myself out of debt. After that the logical thing to do would be to party like I was rich for a day or so.
Whatever is left afterwards is going towards investments. Itd be cool to live like I wasnt piss poor for a while. Tongue
153  Economy / Digital goods / [WTB] Minecraft game code on: August 03, 2014, 04:46:01 AM

*edit* received code and tried out. I like the way the site runs and feels.
The only good suggestion I really have it to slow the speed of the robot-roll. Maybe there was a delay section and I missed it, but id like to be able to react between bets if need be.

Thanks again

1st 4 posts are out, so 1 would not be a winner.

That was accounted for. 1 on the final list is actually 5th post in the thread.
