Long time lurker first time poster.. today i added a riser to one of my rigs and tried to use my old r9 270 with my 2x rx 480 in same rig.. it detects the 2gb r9270 but it has 0 mhs.. some help please thanks. This is my first time using a riser so maybe i missed a step?
if you are trying to mine ETH 2Gb cards are not enough anymore, you might want to try Ubiq, not sure if you can dual mine. Let us know

not able to connect to antmine pool for Verge mining 9008 nor 9009 port everytime i get
Server full message
Only able to mine Shield on Antimine in dual
wait couple of minutes, it will connect eventually. I tweet them about the this issue but no answer yet, maybe you want to tweet them too so we can push the issue to be fixed. My guess is that all these XVG pools were not ready to get all Claymore dual mining traffic !!!

Hi, Is it worth mining a second coin on Sapphire Radeon Nitro+ RX580 4GB or rather ETH only. (I have 4x Sapphire Radeon Nitro+ RX580 4GB)
I'm currently mining on miningpoolhub and convert coins to ETH wallet.
I am struggling to setup command line for a second coin to test (not sure which 2nd coin is best/most profitably to mine?).
My command line to miningpoolhub looks as follows:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -r -1 -mport 13333 -epool europe.ethash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:17020 -ewal x10bulls.rsabluebulls -epsw x -esm 2 -allpools 1 -allcoins 1 -platform 1 -powlim -10
Thank you for your advise/assistance.
I think is valuable as XVG is down in price right now so it has the potential to go up, few weeks ago was at $0.2 For your card you just need to find a good balance between Eth intensity -ethi and XVG intensity -dcri I am running Sapphire Pulse RX580 8G at ETC 30.5 Mh/s and XVG at 1800 Mh/s Would you care to share your command line? also getting 30.5 Mh/s on ETH I am mining ETC and XVG on a RX580 8Gb so numbers are different for you but you should be able to get some good ones. BTW the -ethi 15 and -dcri 60, the 8 was on another card for some testing. EthDcrMiner64.exe -di 0 -epool eu1-etc.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal walletaddress.miner1 -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://xvg.eu1.unimining.net:5770 -dwal walletaddress -dpsw c=XVG -dcoin blake2s -tstop 85 -tt 65 -fanmin 60 -fanmax 100 -cclock 1280 -mclock 2150 -cvddc 850 -mvddc 850 -eres 2 -gser 2 -dcri 60 -etha 0 -ethi 15 -asm 2 -wd 1 -dbg -1 -platform 1

Hello,
cannot download the software from Google Drive since it say virus detected, which I know is not the case Mega download is full so cannot download.
Any suggestion?

Unimining pool is now totaly down with XVG. Anybody has the same experience? looks like the have server issues, getting server full error on claymore and socket disconnect, if you leave the claymore miner it might reconnect but they need to get their severs up to the task on the ammount of traffic they are getting now. Also anyone see difference in mining to mine to port 5766 and 5770 for XVG ? 5770 is only for XVG and the other includes other coins but than you get paid in XVG. Any differences ?

Do you guys dual mine? If, which coin is best?
I mined dual Eth / Sia - But Sia Diff is too high now..
I tried DCR - But then my cards have too low eth-hashrate and if I change the intensity there is very low income from DCR.
What's you opinion on this?
Dual mining with current coins SIA/DCR etc is not worth anymore. Claymore dev is working on a new set of coins for dual mining. Not sure which ones yet and which algo but looks like is going to be soon.

Hello,
anyone knows which algo Claymore dev is adding to dual mining ? thx

|
|
hello,
I am looking into this too as I want to dual mine eth/etc/ubiq or other Ethash coins with maybe XVG.
Maybe we can ask to the Claymore dev to move to blake2s algo for dual mining, anyone interested in this?

I just get this error:
mkminer.exe Device not supported: "Ellesmere" ..................
that's it, so it has to do with the card and the miner.
|
|
|
hello,
since SIA is not minable anymore due to ASIC miners, is it possible for the dev to switch the dual mining to other coins like XVG on blake2s for example? or maybe implementing other algo compatible with Ethash dual mining?
any ideas?
thx
Ok, I read the CLaymore dev is working on 2 new algo for dual mining and should be out soon

mkxminer.exe -d 2,3,4 --asm --exitsick -o stratum+tcp://lyra2v2.mine.zpool.ca:4533 -u address -p -I 18 --platform 1
c=XVG superfluous
no it's not for the pool. the error has nothing to do with the pool too, is about not recognizing the RX 580 as AMD card

hello,
I am getting the following error: mkminer.exe Device not supported: "Ellesmere" I have Sapphire 580 8Gb, Win 10 on blockchain driver
here is my command
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 mkxminer.exe -d 2,3,4 --asm --exitsick -o stratum+tcp://lyra2v2.mine.zpool.ca:4533 -u address -p c=XVG -I 18 --platform 1
any ideas?
deleted what do you mean? is a device and miner problem not pool problem, explain

Will dual mining still be a thing now that ASICs are comming for SIA/DCR?
I am looking for alternatives to these coins since are not worth mining anymore since ASICs are online already. Any idea on which other coin to dual mine?
|
|
|
Hey guys, is dual mining dead? They just ship Baikal Giant-B and all the dual coin profit just drop ~90%
dcr, sia mining is dead, but only one pascal asic atm so pascal is still good for dual mining I agree ASIC is killing GPUs mining on these coins. I was mining between 500/1000 SIA coins a day, now it takes days. Since December, ASICs miners came online and difficulty skyrocket! So dual mining with these coins is not worth anymore. Any plans for Claymore to add different algo to the dual mining list?

Hello,
would like to have a suggestion on which coin to dual mine since SIA difficulty is getting really high due to the switch of algo and ASIC coming in.
I am using RX 580, 1060 and 1070 TI, which coin is the best fit? Are other coins that can be dual mine other than Decred/Lbry/Pascal ?
thx

hello,
I am using RX 580 8Gb and would like to know a typical -h (default is ok?) and if -dmem to set -li typical value , any suggestions? Not sure what hashrate to expect.

can someone share their GPU settings?
I have the following cards with settings: - 5 Zotac GTX 1060 6Gb around 320 Sol/s Power Limit: 90 / Core Clock: +110 / Mem Clock: +900 - 3 Zotac GTX 1070 TI 8Gb around 515 Sol/s Power Limit: 75 / Core Clock: +200 / Mem Clock: +700
the all system (Win10) runs at 1080 Watts.
anyone has better Sol/s with different settings?
I'm running at very power efficient method tho: 1060 3gb - around 270 sol/s pwr limit 60 / core clock +110 1060 6gb - around 285 sol/s pwr limit 60 / core clock +130 I have 2 cards of each, so entire system with 4 cards is pulling 350 watts looks super power efficient ! does the +130 core clock on the 1060 6Gb have any instability issue?
