141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I bought ETH yesterday and guess what happened next on: July 12, 2018, 12:50:46 PM
I invested $85 into ethereum yesterday and after couple hours I lost $10 ,,,does it mean it's not the best time to invest yet and secondly I'll like to ask if that amount is good enough to invest in such a stable coin

I think it is too early to say you lost $10 dollars. I think you need to hold a little longer because it will not happen overnight. And stop looking at the price wvery minute, hour because it is not helping you. And buying eth at this dip is a good idea I’m telling you. Stop being paranoid with your investment and keep calm, don’t panic.
142  Other / Archival / Re: Unpaid Bounty Effort on: July 12, 2018, 08:22:52 AM
I have been doing bounties for some time and I have encountered some bounty effort that are not paid for.

1. Hashcard - scam exit
2. Blackfolio - did not reach softcap
3. BCharity - did not reach softcap
4. Safein - project is cancelled
5. Impressio - scam exit
6. Root blockchain - didn't get enough private investors

I learned a lesson here.  I have to be more selective in the future in choosing bounties, as much as choosing an ICO to invest.

Do you have any similar experience?  Please share so that others may learn.

I have heard a friend who have  experienced the same not one friend but many. I feel sorry for them because I know how hard it is to do bounty campaigns and then end up scam and will not pay. I don’t know why fake ICOs are spreading like viruses and sad that it is very hard to identify which is which. We must all be careful in choosing a good ICO to avoid being a victim.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty managers to be blamed? on: July 12, 2018, 12:50:57 AM
So ones again we have been scammed by another ICO known as Uchit. Now people have started raining insults and curses on the bounty manager that he has led them to be scammed. Despite the numerous apologies from the manager, bounty hunters do not seem to understand. Now my question is, do you think bounty hunters must be blamed when we are scammed because they knew what the ICO was up to, even from the beginning?

The managers are partially to be blamed because they let themselves to be used by a scam ICO. They didn’t made sure what they get into. Managing a bounty campaign is not an easy task and it can ruin their reputation. Managing an ICO has two outcome either to make you or break you as a person. They cannot blame the bounty hunters if they do that because it is not easy for them too.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will you still use MEW? on: July 11, 2018, 01:52:58 PM
Another day, another hack.  Basically My Ether Wallet was hacked via the chrome extension hola.  At this point it isn't known how many users have been affected or how many tokens have been lost.

https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2018/07/10/mew-hack-hola/

So my question to you is will you still use MEW?  Do you think it is their responsibility what happened?  The hack that happened a couple months ago was bad enough, but now another one?  I find it hard to believe that their credibility will be salvaged after this.

I am still using myetherwallet until now even if my token was stolen before. My wallet was hacked and took my token in an instant. I have no choice because I have don't have other wallet like hardware wallet. The best solution to avoid hackers is to keep the pinkeys and password in a safe place. So far it works for me. We only need to be extra careful in protecting our wallet.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep safe your Bitcoin from hacker on: July 11, 2018, 08:42:59 AM
Do not click on links sent in emails.

Google ads had "poison ads" sent by hackers which resulted in $50,000,000 theft. Be careful of google advertisements

I am using myetherwallet at the moment but planning to shift to a hardware wallet as soon as I can. I just keep myself secured and away from hackers and thieves. It’s true that emails contain  malicious content that can take your information like pinkeys. I am not going to loosen my protective measures in keeping my pinkeys.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many ICOs on: July 11, 2018, 07:59:09 AM
I see ICO, I pass.

Most of them are greedy, huge number of them are scam.

Yes, there many ICO scattered in crypto and yeah it’s really hard to choose the good ones. I often do ICOs with my most trusted managers and team. I don’t want to be a victim of fake and scam ICO. It is a very disappointing experience ever. Even if there are bad ICO i still believe that doing a bounty campaign is worthy enough of my time.
147  Other / Archival / Re: ICO without whitepaper on: July 10, 2018, 01:35:49 PM
Personally , I don't think there should be an ICO without whitepaper. The whitepaper bridges the gap between an investor and a company. Can we say a ICO without a whitepaper is a scam? Or what can you say about an ICO without whitepaper

An ICO without Whitepaper is basically a fake ICO (scam) I must say. Because as a token-purchaser, reading white papers is important because it can act as a signal to inform whether a startup is legit or not. So an ICO does not have it then you should not be wasting your money for it. Some white papers are written by lawyers, some are written by people skilled in both business and technology, and some written by professionals with a strong finance background.
148  Economy / Speculation / Re: why the price of BTC keep changing??? on: July 10, 2018, 01:04:25 PM
I will be wondering that why the price of BTC don't be constant , it keeps changing Huh Roll Eyes

Well bitcoin's price keeps changing due to several reasons. One of it basically due to supply and demand the wide fluctuations. And as we know the price is just rocketing up , increasing a percentage every day. The more the price is going up the more amount investors are putting into this crypto which is again resulting to price rise making it a cumulative process. As long as the prevailing bias of the market participants towards this currency is positive its price will grow indefinitely and after some bad news or any other unfortunate the prevailing bias would reverse its direction , dropping its price rapidly. Yes,so think rationally before investing in it.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market will recover? on: July 09, 2018, 12:38:19 AM
The cryptocurrency market have experienced almost 5 months of decline.
And there is no clear sign of recovery.
How do you predict the future of the market?
Please tell me your opinion.
Thank you

Yes, it’s true the market is all red for several months ago but if you have checked again these days it already started to inclined. Which  means it started to recover and hopefully it continues to go up in the coming days. And soon enough the market value of bitcoin will reach the speculated price. We must not panic we need to keep calm because everything is fine.

Who else likes this video?

I do like the video too, it shows that the positive side in dealing when cryptocurrency. Knowing it is volatile we should find a way how to manage it without a doubt. And I thank you TimtheYoutuber for sharing this video it adds hope and light of the dark corners in people’s mind during these days.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign are wastage of time? on: July 06, 2018, 01:56:37 AM
Guys do you think bounty are campaign wastage of time because of we take particiapate in bounty campaign it take 2 to 4 month time the end up and after end the bounty campain it would distribute the token after more 1 to 2 months.
So isn't wastage of time? After taking token you dont know what is the value of token or it is available in exchange or not.

It is a wastage of time if the bounty campaign or the ICO is a failure or a scam. When at the end of the bounty it will not pay off. But if it pays off even for a longer time than usual distribution it is still worth our time. Just make sure that you choose the good and legitimate ICO because there are many fraud/fake ICOs nowadays.

153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can someone help me? on: July 05, 2018, 12:58:57 PM
I would not advise you to invest now in new coins, because the market is now in a very bad state! I now invest only 3 projects, but when the market goes up, I will invest in more than 10 projects. Now is a good time to buy such coins as ETH or NEO, I think they will bring a good profit in a few months!

Actually I also invested in a project lately, at first it was very good and have a good potential to grow but now I don't know if I made a right decision in choosing it because lately the price keeps falling to the ground. I think we really can't tell which coin is the best to invest. It is just a matter of tossing a coin you wouldn't know what will come out, wither you win or lose.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked?? on: July 05, 2018, 12:01:01 PM
I am very interested to know if cryptocurrency wallets like Bitcoin Core, NEON, Electrum can ever be hacked ?

Yes, it can be hacked if you are not being careful with your important information. Avoid being phished, do not open a malicious emails  because it might be something that will get you phised. Do not entertain unfamiliar websites that suddenly pop up in the computer screen because they contain uncertain data that will take your important information. Remember that hackers are equipped with the ways on how to take what they want to take from you.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you a bounty hunter .. ?? on: July 05, 2018, 04:12:17 AM
I have seen a lot of friends who follow the bounty program to find additional income and I also do not want to miss but I am still confused because the income that I get just a little ..  Embarrassed

my question, how much income you get from bounty signature or sosmed dll. . ??

I am a bounty hunter too and I find it very rewarding to receive a token after the end of the campaign period. I consider it a very potential income provider and I will be doing this every after another. Aside from my current offline job this bounty campaigns are very worthy of my time since I only do it during vacant time of the day.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we protect ourselves from scam? on: July 05, 2018, 03:08:01 AM
The crypto world is so vast and they are interest from all continents of the world. Some investors / projects came with good intentions to make the world a better place while some to defraud investors and projects founder. Can we have a better way correct scam and lapses?

Lately I have seen several fraud ICOs that are making a fraud project just to make money instantly. This is very sad because we know how negative other people thought about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. We don’t want to put more stain in people’s mind but now it happened. We should not let them do it, there must be something to be done to eliminate such actions.
157  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is facing a tough time at the moment because... on: July 04, 2018, 12:27:58 PM
Yes, their cost has been greatly reduced. I think the reason is because google and facebook blocked the ads cryptocurrency so everything went down. That will greatly affect ICO projects in the future. In the future, to earn investors is a dilemma and the signature campaign will be more valuable.

Bitcoin is always facing a tough time because of its volatility, it is  too public and a big potential to be stolen. And of internet scam that is very rampant. However, most of the problems facing bitcoin can be solved or worked out, and the recent news involving Square Cash is certainly a step in the right direction. Just be aware that it will take some time before you can walk through the mall or local craft market and see crowds of people all paying for their various purchases with bitcoin.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why every coin dumping now? I am losing huge money on: July 04, 2018, 04:05:34 AM
What is happening in crypto world? Every Altcoins are dumping now, I am new but I have some good worthy coins. Now I am losing huge money for this dumping.

What should I do now? I am very worry about it.

2018 is a tough year for cryptocurrencies. I am only a ,few months old into bitcoin trading options, i was losing a lot already but I am not lossing hope. I know my investment of money time and effort will be paid off after a long term  holding.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How risky to invest in cryptocurrency? on: July 03, 2018, 02:24:06 PM
How risky for beginner to invest in cryptocurrency? What kind of risk factor and what are the precautions?

Many people like me are investing in cryptos because we believe in the technology and the idea of making payments without control of any central institution. Your thinking is a demonstration that you are loosing the battle against speculators. Even if the graph of bitcoin and atlcoins now are not favorable I still believe in the trend of cryptocurrency that always making a pumps and dumbs. Soon it will rise again and I can earn double and even triple profit.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the problem of trust in projects? on: July 03, 2018, 08:36:45 AM
There are so many scam projects going on. people are now afraid of joining ico.
1.  i think ico should be removed. because the frauds have multiplied and people are now having difficulty in distinguishing the truth.

2. if there is no money to develop the project, please do not try to project it. also from the ico when it comes to the stock market is not 3k 5k. even lower than the price you get. because the investor does not know which one to buy.

3. no one is buying token, my regimen does not want to spend 3 or 5 years. when it gets 10% higher than it bought.

4. there are hundreds of projects in each stock exchange. Someone stop them.

Sad, but it is actually happening now. Fake ICOs are not that easy to spot, as some believe themselves that they are legitimate. What you should be looking for is proof of endorsements and involvement from reputable figures, as well as a legitimate team. Let us all be careful in choosing a good ICO to stop these fake ones of getting our money from us.
