141  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: An open letter to the miners on: March 08, 2016, 01:15:16 AM
Is it crucial if they DONT do it? What would happen ?
It is crucial that they don't do it. Because if they do, they won't be able to spend their coins anywhere, or sell them, since nobody else is running their code. Their coins will be worthless and they'll have wasted their money mining them. It makes no difference whether they have 51% or not. Fortunately, miners are smarter than OP and won't do this.
is that true?so it happen just on people who mine bitcoins?or it also will happen to us who buy coins directly form miners?is this called "bitcoins classic" is still dont understand about that.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: #EarnBitcoin on: March 08, 2016, 01:00:19 AM
It is already easy to spend BTC. It is becoming easier to buy and sell BTC.

To close the cycle and have a real Bitcoin economy we really need some way for millions of people to be able to earn BTC.

Thankfully there is a simple way to achieve that:

https://www.fiverr.com/   millions of gigs, already takes Bitcoin for funding (via Coinbase)

https://www.uber.com    Over 1 million drivers worldwide      (works with Braintree/Paypal)

https://www.airbnb.com/  34.000 cities, over 1 million listings (works with Braintree/Paypal)

https://www.freelancer.com/  15 million users. 8 million projects. (works with Paypal)

If we can get just these 4 to do Bitcoin payouts for contractors, it will give access to millions worldwide to earning BTC. Anyone with a house, a car or able to work will be able to #EarnBitcoin.

The payment processors are already in contact with these companies and have been offering the option to receive Bitcoin payments... how hard can it be to offer the option of Bitcoin withdrawals/payouts?
i'm registered on https://www.freelancer.com/ and i dont see people talk or do payment with bitcoin, they always use paypal, but i hope when so many people start talk about bitcoin there, sometime freelancer will accept bitcoin soon,it would great.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin invest on: March 08, 2016, 12:55:56 AM
i know bitcoin itself is already an investment but i have 3 bitcoin sitting around and I'm looking for a quick 5% flip any idea??
people like you who see bitcoins as investement are people who against bitcoin, because bitcoin introducing as payment, not investement, but sadly we can't deny it. why dont you try invest to btjam and other safe cloud mining, but 5% is too risky in my opinion.

145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mac ransomware campaign that asks for 1 Bitcoin on: March 08, 2016, 12:51:22 AM
Recently we were caught up by the whole debates and now another problem came up in which damages BTCitcoin image (again). Recently for the first time, a known ransomware for Macintosh has hit users and as result, demands 1 BTCitcoin to not ruin whatever they get their hands on. Things like this, make me feel like, hope there was a way to prevent these types of crimes but it's completely out of our ways apparently, so to all users of Macintosh out there, be advised.

146  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you know Paypal is dangerous but still do it. so how to avoid being limited? on: March 07, 2016, 04:01:48 PM
I see there are so many people buy and sell with paypal, but do you never met any scam buyer/seller who take any cheaps to report you and led to your paypal account is closed?? just yesterday, my paypal account was killed, so my store reduce an accept payment.

and I guess everyone have known that BTC-related transaction is dangerous on paypal, but how do you treat it? did any people buy/sell Bitcoin with Paypal in the long term, but had never been punished by Paypal yet?

thanks firstly for your valuable experice   Embarrassed
sad story, sorry about that. paypal scammer or bitcoin scammer always exist, and paypal scammer more atractive because they can hack and kill your account, and bitcoin account harder to kill,i know paypal so long, but never use it for buy or sell bitcoin,be more carefull with paypal,or leave it.
147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Transfer to PayPal on: March 07, 2016, 03:28:14 PM
I want buy BTC. If i send from my PayPal account to someone else PayPal account money. Can this person scam me? Is there option that i can't make chargeback?
paxful.com is good option, but i will suggest you to buy it from trusted people who sell bitcoin with paypal,i'm sure many people accept both, paypal and bitcoins, dont forget use escrow.

149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to buy bitcoins without showing ID or credit card on: March 07, 2016, 02:31:08 PM
I need to buy a small amount (like $20 a month) worth of bitcoins to pay a service.
I do not want to provide an ID or associate with my credit card.

I prefer to do it online as well and not in person.

Can anyone please advise me on how to do this?

TIA!
its hard to do that now, some years ago some exchange allow us to make account without any personal ID,they have no complicate security method, but now its already change, almost all exchange have this rules. the only way to make anonymous payment with bitcoin is pay it from other person who paid by your self with paypal or cash money.
150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading places on: March 07, 2016, 02:22:54 PM

151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want to start trading on: March 07, 2016, 02:15:47 PM
Okay so I don't really have any idea which coin is which and which of those are good to trade and which are not.
Since I am currently enrolled in yobit campaign, I figured maybe I can do something profitable with the coins that I get from the campaign so I thought maybe I can start trading.
Do you guys recommend yobit in trading altcoins?
Also what coins do you guys suggest I trade? I want profits and not loses so any tips you guys can give me are really appreciated.
i dont recomend yobit for start trading,i dont think yobit is good enough for newbie traders, they too complicated with so many number,i suggest you to trade on poloniex, and try to buy some etherum if you have good amount of bitcoins, and LTC also good, just buy altcoin with good popularity and big trade amount.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: March 05, 2016, 09:37:28 PM
I have some coins idling around in my wallet but I cannot bear to put it in hyip or risk it. But it is a waste to let it idle around. Yes. I have coins in some "lower risk" hyips to generate some interest which I'm prepared to write off. I also have some coins converted to hashing power in hashnest and BW.com but it has to be monitored else you will suffer a loss instead.  Grin

Unlike fiat currencies, I cannot park these coins into banks backed by governmental institutions. I put my fiat currencies in banks or blue chips but I cannot do it with cryptos.

So, what do you do with your idle coins? Let it sit around?
hyip is always interesting, but always have big risk. and i have no idle coin in my exchange,i'm not tke a risk by buying coins that have bad future, bad amount and less information, its wasting our bitcoin to trade it into not popular altcoin.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantage of bitcoin debit card? on: March 05, 2016, 09:34:14 PM
so seen some companys that offers bitcoins debit card what is the advantage of having them?

anyone using them what is the transactions fees am courius
bitcoin debit card will make you easier to use bitcoin in some store that not accept bitcoin but accept debit card, but i think using debit card is wasting money on fees, some people above me tell it and make me won't to create bitcoin debit card for now,its not have a good benefit in my opinion.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should i buy my first whole bitcoin on: March 05, 2016, 09:31:54 PM
Should i buy my first whole bitcoin ?

I just want opinions, would you buy a whole bitcoin ?
yes,you should buy it now.there is no more appropriate time to buy in bulk when the bitcoin prices down to $400 and it only happens within 2 days, this day is good day to buy bitcoin.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why transactions are taking too long ? on: March 05, 2016, 08:02:13 PM
Since I woke up this morning , I've seen several topics and people complaining about their transactions not getting confirmed ? Is it a coincidence or there is something going on ? Spam attack or something similar ?
its rarely happen, and i just know it s block mistake or connection problem, last day my transaction also delayed almost a day,and its feel like shit. i need that bitcoin, and i get it so long to come to my wallet, this totally rare happen to me.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the maximum amount you keep at a single exchange on: March 05, 2016, 07:58:59 PM
Hey everyone,

Just wondering, what percentage of your total funds do you usually keep at a single exchange?

I mean, what is your risk mitigation strategy, considering the many exchanges that went kaput?

it depending how much you have bitcoins, and how brave you are,its about trading and keep your bitcoin on hot plate,if you dont trust exchange, just put it little amount there,i just put half of my bitcoins amount on exchange when i do short term trading.

158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: To everyone converting BTC to ETH on: March 05, 2016, 07:48:34 PM
Read a little about history of NXT, while jumping ship to ETH as a store of value. Compare the following two graphs...

a. http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/#charts

b. http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/nxt/#charts

Compare the following facts...

i. NXT was backed by a centralized organization, just like ETH.

ii. NXT was PoS, just like ETH will ultimately be.

iii. NXT offered asset exchange, while ETH offers smart contract. Both of these functionality, which they claim to make them unique, are actually possible on bitcoin blockchain, which is far more secure.

iv. With price rise, NXT backers sold their holding to increase liquidity in the market. With price rise, ETH backers are increasing ETH supply in the market to increase liquidity in the market.

p.s. Alt coin trading is a gambling. If u wanna test your luck on some coin under pump, its fine. But, make sure to come back to BTC, when u have made enough, otherwise u'll lose all and have to be a mute spectator while the next alt wave hits. GooD Luck Wink
Etherum have big chance to raise and raise until $30 ?i just saw etherum on 0.02 price last day,and than i see it now,its been 0.03

160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: March 05, 2016, 06:56:44 AM
So, what do people around you (relatives, co-workers, co-ed, friends...) think about Bitcoin ? Please, indicate your country, so this way I'll be able to make a synthesis about what people think about Bitcoin.

For me : I come from France. My relatives think that it's criminals' tool and that since they can't touch money they don't trust it (note that those same persons are pro-banks, where you can't touch money). My friends think that it is useless and that it has no future. Both of them agree that scare them the most is the Bictoin's price volatibility.

So not so positive Undecided. I hope that you aren't in the same situation.
i come from UK,my friends,my co-worker and my relatives think that bitcoin is internet thing that can traded with money, they know it whe i'm tell them about what they ask, they dont care about bitcoin,so many people knowing bitcoin as something hard to get,and its make me so hard to introduce bitcoin to some of my friends or families.
