I just stop looking at bitcoin price. It hurts me actually, that's why I took this decision. I am holding few of BTC and I will not look at my wallets too for 2 months. I hope after 2 months when I will go to see bitcoin price, maybe I will scream happily. What about you guys?  This is true that we should stop looking for bitcoin price to avoid stressed and stop shaking because anytime the price will go up. |

The trend now regarding bitcoin is that it constantly goes down in every second and every minute. Is this the end of it? Will there be any possibility that its value becomes zero? Or specifically demonetised? Because for me I think 5 to 10 years from now this will happen simply because of the appearance of other alternative coins. What's your opinion about it?
Honestly I dont believe that bitcoin will become zero in value although now that is is going down. If we have a trust the process of bitcoin so we dont have to worries about that and pursue our goals on it. |

Bitcoin is volatile simple because it's market cap is relatively small (bitcoin is worth less than Apple). That means it doesn't take much money to move the price. As the market cap gets bigger and bigger, the volatility should reduce. I have diversified my portfolio to about 25 different cryptos which were worth about 7000-8000$ just before the bitcoin crash came and I am wondering whats the exact reason behind this, when or will it recover (and so the alt coins I hold, don't have any bitcoin).
Why do almost all alt coins crash because of the bitcoin crash or correction?
My portfolio is worth only 4000$ atm.

In 2018, we are having a lot of issues relating to cryptocurrencies and most of these issues are regulations and governments trying to centralized Bitcoin by establishing control over it.
I am thinking if Bitcoin can actually fight on as we can see from the pricing of recent that Bitcoin has been dropping and it is finding it difficult to recover. How far can Bitcoin go? Has governments using the tools' of regulation to control Bitcoin pricing working for them? Actually market is very free, but I agree with that we need regulations related to ico. I think such regulations will have a good effect on the market in the long term.

The problem of scalability has reared its ugly head again this time when transactions are clogging and when we are about to experience the coming of the Bitcoin Futures. People have been expecting that soon Bitcoin can reach the mainstream with the legitimization it has been going through with the introduction of the Bitcoin Futures Contracts.
People are now strongly complaining of the shockingly high fees imposed by wallets and exchanges for the transfer of Bitcoin and this should not be ignored by those tasked with making decisions for Bitcoin. This whole thing can kill Bitcoin gradually if not given the appropriate remedy.
Do you feel like discouraged about Bitcoin with this latest debacle?
I will not discourage with bitxoin and infact I am now more positive and full of determination to get bitcoin as my gift to myself and for my family. |

what if the top 6 coins on marketcap is worth 1 trillion each by 2020? where would that put us at? is 10,000$ invested make us a millionaire yet? lets say new york turns into a blockchain city and chicago turns into blockchain city. they start investing we see coins in the trillion. this is where i see the market going. just thinking ahead and the future.

Ok, so this is the very first time I am seriously concerned about the future of bitcoin: https://gizmodo.com/child-pornography-that-researchers-found-in-the-blockch-1823927566This article talks only about child pornography within the blockchain, but apparently the researchers also found copyrighted material, and other illegal content. Having worked on international governance matters, I fear this could mobilize sufficient national authorities to arrange a concerted crack-down on anything related to bitcoin (starting with, for instance, prohibiting exchanges, fiat flows related to bitcoin etc.). Given the nature of the blockchain, I can't see any TECHNICAL solution. Two questions in this regards: 1) do you agree that this is a major threat to the existence of bitcoin? 2) assuming that bitcoin would have be "restarted" (a fork obviously would not solve the problem), how could an "ethical" and "legally acceptable" from of the blockchain and thus bitcoin work? This is fake news. Bitcoin is transparent therefore only stupid criminals will use it to commit illegal activities. They are leaving a trail of evidence behind. Monero is the choice of criminals nowadays. Since it hides transactions. Do some more research. I will agrre that bitcoin was transparent at the same time eligible to spread its grace and keep it more expandable earnings. |
