May be old news to some but I just noticed that SBC came top in a recent public vote for new crypto coins to be added to the CoinPayments.net merchant payment services solution. They have now added it as a supported coin so if any of you are building sites that will take SBC payments it's probably worth a visit and read to see what they are offering.

Please visit the website and download the new version released today. It is a mandatory update and you need to update ASAP if you use a downloaded wallet or run a service.
Is a new compiled v1.1 Mac wallet going to be uploaded to the site as well or should we build from source to fit with the ASAP? Just wondered. Mac App now available: http://digitalcoin.co/download/DigitalCoin-Mac-V1.1.zipGreat, thanks!

In my continued quest, I now have a response to the polite request I submitted on our behalf to Coins-E.com a few days ago SBC/BTC pair now available for trading Mission 2 : accomplished! As with the other recent exchange (CoinedUp.com), please help give these guys some volume and business. You all wanted options, well in the last week we have now opened up two more options and extended the reach of SBC. More for us to do yet as a community but we're moving forward.

Any reason the project on Bitcoinstarter you linked to is not publicly viewable?

Interesting concept. Any more on your background seeing as a newish account on here?
PS - I'm new, you're newer!

Worth keeping an eye on the OpenEx thread in general and also response to my post regarding the research they are doing for the final coin they'll be considering. I asked if SBC could be reviewed as part of that process and a nice response from r3wt, so let's wait and see

Stablecoin may in fact find a home on the exchange, since we are having problems with Gridcoin and there are varying reports on whether the coin actually works as intended or not.
Thanks for the feedback, we'll keep our fingers crossed and await the verdict!

we have discussed this privately, and we will only take one more coin. Currently we are researching on what coin is worthy.
r3wt : I guess there is no harm in me asking if SBC could be included in that research for the 'one more coin'. Dev is back on it and working to get the additional features into it & bitcointalk thread is well attended. Either way, good luck with the release!

The self-audit feature seems to have stopped working as well, tried it 3 or 4 times over the last 6 hours and nothing happening.
Also have a couple of withdrawals (alt not BTC) that seem to be stuck in pending state for a few hours. These alts have been clearing withdrawal in <5 mins last few days, although I know thats not the case with BTC.

Not sure what is going on in Cryptsy-land today, I thought you couldn't set up a sell for anything less than 0.1 units!!!! Sell orders Price (BTC) SBC Total (BTC) 0.00012106 0.00002099 0.00000000

I think Zavtra was the one who made this happen, yes?
I only made the thread in the forums, justin-time made the reddit request. I think that is oncebitcoinedtwiceshy in the forums. We all gave it the chance to happen by up voting , Pete @ CoinedUp is the one that actually made it happen. All I did was get the ball rolling a little on our behalf with a polite reddit request. Zavtra is also keeping things current on various threads. Just make sure we give Pete & co some support, they will go through growing pains as well but they seem to be trying to do the right thing. In less than 24 hours from asking we now have another place that is SBC friendly. Can only be good news

Big thanks to Pete @ CoinedUp.com
There are many people that will be grateful to you for getting Stablecoin (SBC) live today. Hope it helps you guys have a super 2014!

The reason is quite simple. Those of us who have been mining SBC have not been doing so out of the goodness of our hearts, we are doing so in the hopes that we are mining a coin that has a bright future and that will ultimately reward those who have expended their mining capacity on SBC's rather than another coin.
Sure, I understand that. You make a fair point and I know some people have invested a lot of time and resource (well fair point except the 'goodness of your heart 'bit obviously just kidding ) May be my sense of time is just becoming warped on this alt-coin area, I'm used to things taking a long time in life so have grown to accept it. I genuinely get where you are coming from though and if we all had the same views we wouldn't get too many discussion threads! Mmmmm, now I'm getting paranoid that I'm being too laid back
|
|
|
I must admit I don't get why people are impatient but I know everyone has their own view on life, so each to their own.
Isn't it best with any of these alt coins to just invest if you like and divest if you don't? If there isn't enough information available to make people comfortable or keep their interest then they can not buy in the first place or sell what they have.
The last update was obviously worded carefully by Artos, dates aren't the focus else that would have been mentioned. Doing it right does seem to be the focus.

Good work. Wish I'd had something in the exchange to have done likewise.

It got pulled real quick when people started taking bites out of it.
It sure did. Although there still seem to be main courses being put out by people for the hungry ones! Sell orders Price (BTC) SBC Total (BTC) 0.00012000 3202.68849894 0.38432262
