141  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Bitcoin Bull is not yet over" on: February 14, 2018, 11:54:00 PM
I agree that this isn't any kind of bull market like before however much people wish that it was.  It just isn't.  Might go up a bit more and then crash again.  If it was really going up it would be soaring.  It isn't.  It's struggled every bit of the way.
142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 10k on: February 14, 2018, 10:34:02 PM
It could well reach 10k but I don't think the general trend will be upwards.  It will go down again in a few days.  I don't see any kind of climb to much higher any time soon.  I wouldn't buy at these prices.  Then you might be left holding coins and watching the price drop again.
143  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC break through the $9k resistance line? on: February 14, 2018, 07:10:33 PM
Well I can't see it going to 19k in this bull run that's if it is a real bull run.  But I suppose a lot of people got a real surprise when it went that high a short time ago.  It could go that high some time in the future say next year but I don't think it's very likely this year.  But it's all just guess sometimes.
144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC break through the $9k resistance line? on: February 14, 2018, 12:25:02 PM
It has now gone over the 9k.  Which is good.  But I'm not convinced this is any sort of bull run.  I said a few days ago I could see it going to 10k but not further really and certainly not anywhere near the 19k it reached a while back.  If I had anything much to sell I'd take a profit either now or risk holding on for a little bit more.
145  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Have Any Fear Bitcoin Might Crash Someday. on: February 14, 2018, 09:41:21 AM
I have been half expecting another gigantic crash even worse than the last this month.  But I don't think it will be all up, up up for the next few months.  If there's a crash it will be when folk least expect it and things are moving up nicely.  Then wham the crash will come.  But it might not of course.  So unpredictable just now.
146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Please stop selling! on: February 13, 2018, 02:05:13 PM
I agree that it is up to the individual to make a decision.  He must read the posts and look at the charts and then decide.  Do I think bitcoin will go up or down from this point.  Selling is a risk in case it goes up and buying is a risk in case it goes down further.  From here I think it will continue to go up and down but certainly I do not see any pattern of continuous  up at all in this last month.  I think it will fall again maybe even deeper than before.  But others think it will go up.
147  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin turned the corner? on: February 12, 2018, 11:37:21 PM
No I don't think Bitcoin has turned a corner.  If you look at the chart for the month it is declining on the whole.  This new rally is really a very feeble one in my opinion.  Maybe it will struggle up to 10k but will fall again in a few days.  Not sure if it will crash down to 6k but we could see 7k again in the next few days.  I think that's more likely than any kind of spectacular rise to the moon.
148  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - Recovery or bull trap v.2018 ? on: February 12, 2018, 09:58:15 AM
The price is certainly up now. I think it could even reach as high as 9k or even a bit more..  But will drop again back to 7k in the next few days.   I don't think it's now on a rise.  If I had to guess that is.
149  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price - is it a "W" or a breakthrough? on: February 10, 2018, 09:31:34 PM
It looks like a classic downwards pattern to me if you look at that graph.  Certainly doesn't look like an upwards one.  Even to a newby
150  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dropping again like a stone on: February 10, 2018, 07:17:21 PM
The price movements are strange.  But as for these bankers.  Who is to say these whales who control Bitcoin are any better than bankers.  I'm not saying they aren't any better but it makes me wonder if they are.  People haven't just got money to gamble and hope they won't lose.  They might.
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price - is it a "W" or a breakthrough? on: February 10, 2018, 01:18:23 PM
Lots of new investors need to be sucked in with the promise of wealth like last time.  So if somebody was a financial expert and studied why so many people came in at 15,16,17,18,19k then they would have their answer.  New people need to come in with new money or the price won't be boosted to any great extent.  So somebody needs to persuade people that Bitcoin is going to the moon.  If they can do that then it might.  If they can't then it won't.
152  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price - is it a "W" or a breakthrough? on: February 10, 2018, 12:47:21 PM
I think the price will not shoot up.  And somebody is manipulating it to make it look as if it is and then people will buy and hold.  Then the whales will swoop down and crash the price again.  So they can get the cheap coins.  That's what I think.  So I think 12-36 hours time is the time to buy cheap.  but it's just a guess.
153  Economy / Speculation / Re: I am planning to buy 1 BTC. Do I need to wait few more days for a price fall? on: February 10, 2018, 12:36:12 PM
I read that the price might  go up for a few hours or stay the same  but then later on in say 12 hours or longer it  will fall.  And people should sell now and buy in later on to make at least some profit.
154  Economy / Speculation / Re: Financiers ‘keep skills sharp’ by trading cryptocurrencies on: February 10, 2018, 11:25:20 AM
If too many people do the day trading all the profit will be gone and the holders will lose out.  It's just sums.
155  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price recover? on: February 09, 2018, 02:21:25 PM
I think some people are trying hard to keep the price above £8k.  Which is working so far more or less this last few days.  But then greed sets in and people want to take their profit so down again the price goes.  I can't see any great recovery any time soon.  but I could be wrong.
156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Will be Zero on: February 09, 2018, 11:41:52 AM
It is anybody's guess.  But if it is as it is now for many more years I would wonder what it was for.  My opinion is that the big banks are working at this very minute on their own crypto and it's a race to see who is the first one out.  I did read that it is possible in years to come for a few cryptos to exist and people will have a choice of what to use.  Like currencies are now with dollars euros  and so on.
157  Economy / Speculation / Re: $6200 I'm buying on: February 09, 2018, 11:27:59 AM
Waiting for 6.2k to buy is a good idea.  I will buy at the price maybe.  Because it will go up from that.  I keep waiting for it to go low to get a great bargain.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin over? on: February 08, 2018, 11:45:27 PM
In it's present form yes I think it is.  If it's re-invented again it could survive.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance refuses Hack accusations on: February 08, 2018, 10:43:51 PM
I think it's lies.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Only 9300 unconfirmed transactions today on: February 08, 2018, 10:33:37 PM
It's just stagnant at present.  Waiting for new people to come in and boost the price.  And other people to hold.
