10BTC for 11 MH/s. Hmm.
I think Viper (Scrypt) Miner (25Mh/s) is cheaper but they're NEVER GOING TO ship...
Fixed. So, is this a deal where you gave them BTC, and they return it you in the form of weekly LTC payments? Completely hands-off of the 'farm'? 10BTC seems like a lot for just 11MH/s and for LTC only, especially considering the risk. The least you should be able to do is control the miners remotely, and pick your own coins. Buyer's remorse?

is nobody else suspicious that this exchange might be delaying the execution of trades to profit off price flucations and rape the market ? or is it just me ?
how can a system be broken every fcuking day with hundreds of confirmations and orders not executed until prices have changed signigifigantly ,sometimes by near an order of magantude
i get it that shit happens to even the best of "companies" can have a problem ,but it seems like at Cryptsy its more like a miracle if shit doesnt happen on any particular day and thousands of transactions dont get fucked up often costing customers a loss of their funds etc
Understand that *you* aren't the only one having problems. I couldn't pull coins out at all last night, but I'm not whining about it. When the price swings and the trades slow down because of it, the system recovers and catches up. That's why it seems like it does. Think of the order of magnitude that orders are happening now on Cryptsy. Vern is very likely making a massive payout just on trading fees. There is no reason whatsoever for him to have an incentive to slow them down at all. Any even tiny amount of scam involved in that would come at the cost of a loss in trading fees because orders aren't getting executed or aren't getting placed because the system is so loaded down. SMH.... Complainers: If you don't like it, go use another damned exchange. FFS, nobody is forcing you to use Cryptsy. You're using it, because despite it's flaws, it's one of the better exchanges out there. Effing BTER won't let you trade or withdrawl to 8 digits, so they are playing the office space game and trying to pocket a million half penny transactions. *That* is a scam. BTCe won't trade in many coins. I won't touch Mtgox because my fucking email and pass got leaked on the net when they got hacked. So please, go away or STFU.

i got 5002 no exaggeration i would like some more but im not rich, i just got lucky on quark picked up 600k for $300 on ebay before it hit headlines, and i know i will make money on them and DMD looks awesome but i will not sell any more qrk so if i could get a few more k of diamonds i would be more then happy, im not greedy, what do you think, they say btc could be worth 10k-100k is it possible aswell for DMD? it makes me wonder
DMD is five times more scarce than BTC. So, all else being equal, it should be worth five times the price of BTC! However, 'all else being equal' is far, far from true: community support, awareness, services, exchanges, and many other things are lacking. If these proceed as with BTC, then who knows: in a couple of years you may be sitting on 5 million dollars worth of DMD A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. BTC could be worth $100 tomorrow. Some official in the PROC Gov't makes an announcement and overnight BTC loses half it's value. Yeah, it recovered SOME, but it's hardly a stable commodity. And is what BTC is, a commodity, not a currency. People mine/trade BTC like Gov'ts pump/trade oil. The price is just as volatile too. Scarcity has nothing to do with it. Your advice is false economy. The coins only have value if people are willing to trade in them. Diamonds *could* be worth $1k, if someone was offering that much for them. Even then, are they the only one offering $1k? A 5,000 DMD sell wall could easily kill the price on it, because there just isn't enough liquidity to support it. As more and more Alt-coins are released, further diluting the liquidity of the market, spreading it out between coins. It will get harder to trade over time, not easier. There is no fundamental reason why *any* altcoin should gain value, other than it being traded and accepted more. Holding on to them is counter productive to that goal. Right now, it's just a game between currency speculators and miners.

Seems like there should be a Doge meme to fit OP's problem: So drama much... That's what you get for trading in a marketing experiment. Go mine a real coin. Seriously. My Cryptsy deposits on several coins have been crediting in 20 minutes or less. The points disappeared then came back, and are really rather insignificant. It's an incentive, not your rent payment. Oh the drama...

ASICs Killed BTC/SHA256 mining for GPU owners. LTC/Scrypt was born. ASICs compete with Scrypt, push out low end GPUs, a new (more ASIC resistant) coin will be made. Bottom line, $9000 will buy you ~15MH/s in GPU Scrypt performance, with the added security of being able to resell the hardware. If you're frugal, you can probably improve on that. Cooling is still an issue, but both cooling and electricity aren't problems for a lot of people. Even if this isn't some elaborate scam (don't hold your breath) this isn't the same deal as with BTC. Also, seems like saying Global Foundries will be doing your manufacturing is just name dropping for credibility. GF is a very large company. I'd be surprised if they would bother with a small order like this. Maybe we should call them up and ask if they are affiliated.

528w max on the 12v rail... Nevermind that running it near capacity for extended periods will burn out your PSU quickly. http://www.jonnyguru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8285Likely your PSU rating is overstated. Don't even bother mining with the 660TI. That's worth what 180MH/s? Not worth the power costs, even if *you* aren't paying the power bill.

Just a quick question, while I'm on this thread.. I'm building a new rig using an ASRock Z77 Extreme 3 mobo and a mid-tower with a Intel Core i3-3220 Ivy Bridge 3.3GHz LGA 1155 55W Dual-Core Desktop Processor and a 600 watt power supply for scrypt mining of Litecoins using a Radeon R9 280X GPU in Linux. Do you think a second card of the same type will be able to be added inside the case (physically fit side-by-side?) using the provided SATA3 slots and work/cool correctly?
no 2 cards needs a full ATX case and oonly 2 or 3 cases could fit them side by side One of my temporary rigs was my gaming machine. 2 R9 280x's, built in a HAF X case, 2 slots apart, with the side panel open, and fans blowing in very cool air (25-35*F) from the outside ducted directly to the GPU intakes -- still overheated the top card. That's even undervolted to .980v VDDC. Unless I bring the ambient temp in the room down to about 60*F or so, the intensity will regularly drop to cool down the GPU. On the coldest nights <32*F, the cold air was enough to keep the GPU temp steady @ ~74*C. The room, which isn't particularly small, with a fan blowing in air from the outside, self regulated to about 62*F ambient when I had both cards running, but I started having low humidity problems in the house because of the dry air constantly pumping in. Waking up feeling like a dried out sponge with a nosebleed isn't fun. The heat output on these cards is enormous. Build it into a larger case, use risers, and/or use a skeleton frame case if you want to run multiple GPUs of this class. These aren't 7950's, they will heat you out.

Finally. All Dogecoin does is shit on my lawn, time for something new.

By then, my 10x R9 280x should be in.
Watch out everyone! We've got a badass here.

Your pool isn't reporting blocks found, nor paying anything out. I found several blocks while testing out your pool. Your website seems unable to see any of it.

How in all hell is this not on cryptsy yet?! Cryptsy doesn't deserve LOT. We need something better. Srsly, BTC drop is worrisome. Some economists expecting it to drop to 10$! With no China to back its value, no one will be interested but speculators FUD. Don't you have some Ponzi scam to go spam? Every bubble pops sooner or later. It's just an opportunity to pickup cheap coin and make a good profit on the ride back up.

My farm is complaining that work isn't being sent fast enough from my wallet. Any ideas to help speed things up? The wallet is running on an i7 920 @ 3.5GHz, 16GB RAM, on a 50Mb/s fiber connection. I'm quite sure my system isn't loaded down.

you forgot fee, also you won't get 260k, but a small amount of that block, i've mined in a pool and i got only 3k in one hour, compared to solo, it is very low
always better to mine in solo for me, when difficulty is very low
I didn't forget the fee. I have still made more. My portion of the lotto blocks isn't that small. I roll in the top 5 most of the time, and am #3 at the moment.

guys stop mining in da pool, i've already made 250k lottocoin in solomode, in just 15 hours and with only one 7950 lmao
Having spent a lot of time solo mining & pool mining, based on the math, pool mining is better by about 10%. I think it has to do with the frequency that the pool hits the lotto blocks. Solo mining, I found 4 blocks in a row, so just over a minute or so I think. Made like 150k total from the random amounts. Around that same time, a pool found a single lotto block for 262k. It's just the luck of the draw, but it still worked out for the pool. If you take a look at all the blocks you've mined for a pool (coins generated) and you look at your payouts. If your payouts are higher than your coins generated (due to other miners in your pool finding lotto blocks), then you were better off in the pool, than solo.

...since then and doge has just stolen all its thunder.
Really? That joke of a coin? He seriously Photo-chopped a face of a dog onto a gold coin, added an 'e' and has all the grammar skills of a Nigeran Prince trying to give you money. It's a popular meme. http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/dogeGenius. In fact, I have an awesome idea, I'll start a coin, KAT (Short for CatCoin) which will give you bonuses for any blocks mined on Caturday. Grumpy cat can be our mascot.

**EDIT** HackShardGaming.net pool is offline for the next few minutes. I am performing a server reboot. All coins are safe. No we are not under a ddos.
**EDIT TO THE 2nd POWER** HackShardGaming.net Pool back online.
Something is wrong with the hash estimates. It's saying the pool hash (135) is higher than the network hash (95).

Really? That joke of a coin? He seriously Photo-chopped a face of a dog onto a gold coin, added an 'e' and has all the grammar skills of a Nigeran Prince trying to give you money. Why would you waste your time with that? I would hardly say it's stolen any thunder. In fact, it's thankfully tied up plenty of other mining resources while I mine the shit out of LOT.
