Can someone explain, why USA and China are prohibitted from contributing to the icon sale? I understand china, as stated on https://smoke.network/ico under faq "As such citizens from these countries are blocked from the Smoke Network ICO due to unclear regulatory rules by their governments", but USA? I do not live there, so I'm not familiar with the regulations. Would appreciate if someone could explain a little more. Its the same situation for the majority of ICOs. The reason people from those countries are currently banned from participating in ICOs is best explained in the text you quoted - "unclear regulatory rules by their governments". Because the regulatory rules regarding ICOs are unclear for those countries the ICO projects are playing safe by preventing people from those countries from investing in case they break any laws. I also believe they are trying to protect the people more so as well. I doubt they care about the securities as much as "fuck trump coin" is collecting money on people and it is going to amount to nothing. That is the reason for the ban IMO I understand. There have surely been alot of scams in the US and all that good taxpayer money should not go to work for the people who earned it through hard work but contribute to the military budget or something important for the US. I'm too lazy to read the roadmap, and for that I have to apologize  Hey, at least, I'm being honest here! That is a good question there. I would suggest that although primary for cannabis smoking, you could still do some cool smoke tricks with smoking cigarettes or hookah or vaping non cannabis based products - and get payed in SMOKE for posting cool videos and stuff.  Primarily about weeds. But it won’t be a problem posting other smokes relates.... I personally believe it will evolve into a platform where you can talk about ANYTHING smoking related. Smoking it, investing in it, taxing it, regulation, anything. It will be a good place for people to go within that community and will likely bring them out of hiding  |

I mean, it is surely not illegal in europe, but when there a no regulation this means a little grey zone, correct me if I'm wrong. Or you can invest your money in whatever you want - I guess that is the way most countries handle that. its illegal in the most part of europe, in norway you get jailed 1month for 20grams!!! that was not what I ment. I ment buying in the ico oh its only usa, that has problems to buy ico, as far as i know! so it suits me percfekt to be located in europe, so i can purchase smoke everyday! the ban on ICOs is stupid in the US...and I mean if they wanted to track it they could but at this point they don't care because they see it as gambling anyways |

I do not see a problem in joining this project if your country prohibits the use of cannabis - medical and recreational use. You can join the project nevertheless and see the outcome. The smoke network is also there to get information out to the users of this platform. Even if you are prohibited from using cannabis yourself, you still have freedom of information. Sine freedom of speech and no censorship is up there in the most important things for the SMOKE network, you sure will be able to benefit from it, even if you do not smoke/are prohibted from doing so by law. To some smoke.io is for smokers - to some investment - to some showcasing their smoking skills 😂 😂 - to some just some regular websites - to. some where to. earn - and to. whaleshares - supremacy To every singles smoker (or non) it will be different |

If you know how steemit works, they have authors rewards and curators reward. Same for smoke.net. you can curate and earn money rewards... Posting about cannabis is not prohibited anywhere in the world i do not believe. It’s illegal in the US but anyone can talk about it as they please |

I guess even the weed industry is joining the cryptocurrency world, I hope that this will be a helpful platform on the research on the benefits of weeds especially to the medication of some form of cancers and other diseases that really be cured from the extracts of cannabis plants!

If the hardcap is not reached by the end of the sale all remaining SMOKE coins will be placed into a foundation trust whereby it will be distributed to new users that sign up to the Smoke.Network and add influence or value. I think it would be good to sharedrop on existing owners some of it and reward those who took a chance and invested. |

The best way to attract non smokers in my opinion is through marketing, which is already greatly done, it just takes some time. With all the fuzz about facebook, there is surely a need for a different social media plattform, where freedom of speech is ruling and not the things ongoing on facebook. Even on youtube with the adpocalypse and the ongoing censorship and being "non advertiser friendly" there is a definite need for something like the SMOKE network. More and more people accept the great medicinal and recreational features of cannabis and these, smokers as non smokers, would love to have a platform to talk to each other. Then it comes down to see a need, fill a need - SMOKE network, for smokers and non smokers alike. Freedom of Speech, true FOP without censoring is what the world is going to. FB and TWTR censors shit this ^ I have had many of my tweets censored especially around the 2016 election. I will also say that I am not sure if my followers are not being censored as well, it seems like everytime I gain 2 followers I wqill lose two.
