Well hopefully anyone who has noble on there can access it.
I just now moved my 3,000,000 NOBL I have been stressing about from there to agx.io... Shew! So glad to finally have them out of there.

Did you receive them? I just tried to move my Doges out of the coinex but never received them.

edit. 2 hours ago, no mention about transfer in doge blockchain..

Well coinex says it was processed and withdrawn but nothing on agx.io yet... been 2 hours
I believe they've only enabled LTC and BTC withdrawals.
I just withdrew both BTC and NOBL to my wallets and both turned up almost instantly, was only 200K NOBL though.

ok third time of asking. has cryptominers got a problem?HuhHuh my coins are stuck unconfirmed

I have the same problem at cryptotycoons, no confirms for going on 2 days now, the block chain shows the blocks as confirmed and mined by cryptotycoons so I guess they're there, probably just something in the back ends stalled, I've just sent a support message so we'll see what they say.

Though this is probably the motivation I need to spend the time to set up a charity pools account Wink

Edit: Does anyone know if charity pools is down? I created an account but it wont let me log in, it just reloads the login page Sad

I personally like the 3rd one.
Another vote for no.3 Smiley

Just over 600 blocks till halving!

People confused by this will likely be confused by bitcoin itself anyway... or how to use a door...

Finally with Noble coin I'll be able to mine for gold without even getting my hands dirty Wink

Rofo speaking of games would you consider contacting coinbomb.biz to see if they would add noble or what's required to get on?

Its one of the main reasons I always have a stock of lottocoin lying around lol and would definitely been keen to play with some noble. They used to have 4 coins but grand (I also held on to some for that) and infinite coin got the chop not so long ago so they may be open to adding another now. I would contact them myself but figure its probably best coming from the dev team Wink I'd be happy to pitch in if there's a setup fee too.

LOL @ whoever dumped on poloniex, I was lucky enough to be checking out the exchange, saw it happening and picked up 500K @ 10 sato Cheesy (tried for more but must have just caught the tail end of the dump).

Looks like he dumped ~3M Shocked of which >1.5M went for 9-10 sato Shocked pay day! lol

It seems that Coinex.pw run with people's coins.
When there was similar situation with coinmarket.io dev suggested reimbursing people who lost their coins.
That was great idea. Could we count on something like this now?
They've been down one day, I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet...

I wish I hit f5 before transferring some more noble on though lol I transferred all I had off worrying a bit about what was going on in the forum then decided to put a little back on so I could keep playing around a bit but during my decision time they went down Sad lol talk about bad timing. At least its only hundreds of thousands and not the millions that was on there before I withdrew :S

Its the final count down and diff has gone up 10x Sad lol
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vault of Satoshi asks What Coins Do You Want to See? on: March 17, 2014, 11:10:53 PM
I also support noble coin.

The dedication and openness that the devs bring is a true breath of fresh air in this market and it has a very friendly and supportive community. They (successfully ;P) support charity through the water project and sponsor e-sport which is quite unique while being relevant to a lot of miners. They are always looking for ways to grow the coin and their market place gives excellent added value particularly with precious metals/bullion and merchants soon to be added.

OK guys just a heads up. I've been following alot of the exchange threads do to the rash of failures/hacks and whatnot and it looks like something is rotten in the state of
Denmark.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=265277.1180

I removed all my coins a week ago and I recommend you all get what your not afraid to lose.

I don't want to be an alarmist and help cause a panic but It looks bad so protect your Noble.
Thanks for the heads up I really hope nothings wrong coz coinex is my favourite exchange but as they say better safe then sorry especially with all that's going on these days. On the bright side everything is working fine for me trades, deposits and withdrawals, I will continue to use them but will be mindful of how much I keep on there.

Free bump for Noble team. NOBL is the only coin that has been of any real IRL use for me. I bought an amazon gift card through the marketplace, and within the hour I received my gift code in my email box. The prices are very competitive and the team is very committed.

However, you guys have to understand that in the altcoin market, no one gives a sh** about long term. It's pump and dump. Look at EAC. same thing happening over there.

Why would I use NOBL to buy stuff? I have BTC for that. BTC price is way more stable, cant be influenced by multipools, etc. I understand the idea though

Interesting how you like to compare Noble with EAC.
Both prices are doing bad, but caused by different things.
EAC almost died because one of the devs left, prolly dumped the premine and the other devs had theur own problems and didn't do a good job.
Noble has a fantastic dev with a healthy longterm vision and wasn't interested to spend his money to have a quick pump. The reason Noble price is low is just because all altcoins are doing really bad. And the reason you want to use Noble to buy stuff is because the transaction go quicker.
+1, 1/2hr+ for a transfer and confirmation makes BTC a whole lot less useful for a lot of things and less convenient for everything.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [888] [SCRYPT] OctoCoin ◦ The Power of Eight ◦ Don't Blink on: March 16, 2014, 05:17:34 PM
Expected payoff / block = 88 + (888 * 1/8) = 199.

Roughly 1/4 of what is was - all else equal, difficulty should be 1/4 of what it was before the switch, right?
Nope assuming same number of miners diff should be the same as it is affected by block time not coin generation rate. The hope would be value would be 4x but you will likely see a drop in miners (at least initially) causing a drop in diff and a slight rise in value. Worst case scenario the shock of inflation kills the coin but here's hoping that doesn't happen.

What is driving the price down is lack of buy orders.... Thinking about switching my miners and buying on exchange to help give some support.

i was thinking about switching my miners to some other coin, then buying noble with the proceeds.

any suggestions as to which would be a one to use?

since all i have at the moment is noble, it's kinda hard to buy noble with noble

I'm about to do this also and I might suggest mining Doge since it has probably the most stable market at the moment thanks to the volume. Doge is also one of the most profitable coins at coinwarz. Another plan would be set the miners to multipool.us that gives the most profitable coin in real time but you have to check and sell multiple times during the day to get the most of it.

So yes I'd say that Doge might be the best coin for this.
Although not every coin on the top of the list is as stable as Doge the daily revenue's for some lesser known coins can be a lot higher then what's on CoinWarz. https://cointweak.com/calculator
Just make sure you do you follow up research i.e. leprocoin is listed as most profitable on that but if you look at the exchange the first buy with any real volume is actually lower then what doge would return, like wise when looking at coinwarz % change of diff and value are important to take note of.

at that difficulty rate i won't be able to offer much... speaking of that... if this is to be a truly altruistic venture, it would probably be in all of our best interest to establish a community wallet in which all of the proceeds are deposited to, that is controlled by a trust worthy party. and if we can agree on that, due to the track recored that is already established i would like to nominate rofo for that honor.

I made a bit of calculations.. At my current hash rate and current noblecoin difficulty I'm able to mine 0.025 BTC worth of noblecoins per day. But if I mine Doge I would be able to mine 0.03 BTC worth of Doge per day with my current hash and diff. So it would be even better to mine Doge, send it to coinex and buy Nobl.
Octocoin (888) has been quite profitable for the last week but buy orders are waning atm.

...
just a thought, i know that this may sound a little " conspiracy theorist" but anyone else think that this may be caused by the people that are trying to control crypto ( politicians) so that they get " their" cut?

I can tell you for a FACT that News coverage was biased as well as non-factual. I watched it and was pretty pissed off I can tell you. I've been explaining for a week how the coin can't be "Hacked" and it was only an exchange an it was 2 YEARS ago to boot! People are generally morons and eat up whatever they are spoon fed.

well about people being morons, i can categorically agree.

to be honest, as i'm reading and catching up, i find it suspect that all this happens as popularity is exploding and the very concept is gaining momentum. while at the same time it seems that politicians are crying out that they can't get their cut of the proceeds. and then a bunch of media outlets report on this, at around the same time the obama administration's FCC debacle is coming to light.
One of the more interesting recent outcomes... http://techcrunch.com/2014/03/09/mt-gox-hack-allegedly-reveals-bitcoin-balances-customer-account-totals/

Do you think price will finally go up with agx.io exchange?
As much as I'd like to say yes, I don't think adding a new exchange will be the fix we are after (particularly a start up one), not saying its a bad thing, far from it, it'll add some visibility to the coin but to see a major lift in value the whole altcoin market needs to turn around and I expect this to take some time. What Noble really needs at the moment is more buy power i.e. investors, more miners to make the coin more scarce/spread out in turn driving value up and more trade volume in general. What I see at the moment is very little day trading and small but constant sell pressure so when someone buys a bunch of noble to use in the store the price spikes then it slowly gets eroded back down again. Unfortunately the store is a bit of a devil in disguise at the moment, its purpose is to attract more people to the coin by giving it a use the flip side to this is the coin that gets spent there then needs to be recouped to BTC then fiat to restock the shelves so essentially buys there will be coming back onto the market with 10% more as sell orders. I know Rofo's doing his best to mitigate driving the price down by trickle selling but unless I'm mistaken at the end of the day it still has to end up as a sell order.

I see noble as being cheap at the moment and definitely see the price rising a lot in the mid to long term but what we need now are more people, especially new people, to realise this too. As time goes by Noble proves itself more and more and hopefully this in itself will help draw people in but if we want to see a quick turn around I think we need something that makes people think about moving over to noble with coin and community merits aside, something like a solid and sustained pump where people would come over for value alone but its never that easy because if a pump isn't sustained the impending dump can do even more harm.

what the hell happened? i've been gone for 3 weeks, real life, and i get home turn on the comp and all i see is total devastation.

can someone fill me in?

even coinmarket.io isn't working? is it me?
Long story short, between Mt. Gox losing/stealing a ton of BTC (6% of all coins in circulation) and several other smaller hacks on various exchanges/online wallets in a short period of time peoples faith in cryptos has been shaken and presumably a lot of people cashed out.

And yea coinmarket is also having issues, it comes and goes but they are still around.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NobleCoin[NOBL] - E-SPORTS/WATER PROJECT**MARKETPLACE**8 EXCHANGES**35 MERCHANTS on: March 14, 2014, 11:13:07 PM
keep up voting!

https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes

atm we have 158 votes. first place has 21111^^

edit: today bigvern added  DGB/BTC, SAT/BTC, RDD/BTC, ZED/BTC. all coins weren`t number 1 in the voting. I think it wont take long until he
adds noble as well

Sat was up high there, and RDD/DGB are well known currencies amongst the community.
I think exposure is more important than votes.
Doge got there without a premine, so no bounty
Doge got there due to volume which to exchange operators is a bounty in itself Wink But I do agree more exposure would help the cause along side more trade volume, votes and general value.

One way miners could help is to split their mining, mine whatever's most profitable as well as Noble (in whatever ratio suits your setup) then use a portion of the high value coins return to buy noble this will help maintain/increase nobles value and allow you to stock up on your noble quota. Keeping some hash pointed at noble will also keep the network alive and difficulty up to make sure new comers can see the coin has an active community backing it. Using the other coin to cover power costs etc. also means you don't have to sell on the noble market to cover it further swinging the ratio of buys to sells, at least until Noble becomes the most profitable coin again Cheesy

If anyone's unsure about mining multiple pools with different ratios feel free to PM me and I will give you a run down - forgive me if it takes a while to respond I often forget to check the message counter... its too small Wink

FYI coinmarket.io is live right now (trading still on hold).

The link I dropped earlier allows you to put an email address in to be notified when it is up.
Oh nice, thanks Hueristic: http://bing-pong.com/coinmarket.php in case anyone else missed it Smiley

Though the link says offline but it seems to be online atm, or is that link regarding to the actual trading? Fortunately I got my coins off a couple of weeks ago but I still drop by from time to time to see if there's any movement/news.
