Can i mine this on VEGA GPUs ? XMR Stak ?
Webchain is a CPU only mining cryptocurrency.

yes same parameter X 4 VERSIONS: webchain-miner/2.6.2.0 libuv/1.8.0 gcc/7.1.0 * CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2650 v4 @ 2.20GHz (1) x64 AES-NI * CPU L2/L3: 4.0 MB/30.0 MB * THREADS: 16

well, it seems the price has found a bottom. -92% of the maximum is a strong fall. it's funny that now a couple of bitcoins you can buy all the coins and be king. There is a demand for over a million of WEB and nobody wants to sell

good project, but i'm not so clear yet or how useful the coin can be... what's the vision & mission of the project? Hi! to make long story short: Mission: Keep Webchain as a profitable cryptocurrency for regular CPU users as we stay ASIC-resistant and botnet unfriendly. Giving these users the chance to mine the coin using different devices. Vision: Become the standard/most popular blockchain for the design and deployment of DApps, being called the World's most secure blockchain for DApps.Sounds reasonable and as far as I can understand WEB will be the gas to develop those DApps right? Like considering Webchain becomes a recognized platforms for DApps. Sounds cool. Gonna keep reading When we get on that stage according to the roadmap, we will share enough details. Please stay in touch, join our social media:

*I just added "signature webchain" The team wants to send you a small reward for your initiative, please share your webchain address.

Thanks for sharing your stats. Back on this page of the forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3649170.600, there were some stats shown for certain kind of hardware and we saw some users explaining their settings to each other on discord justifying these relatively high hashrates. Have a look please! Thx *I just added "signature webchain" Thank you so much! You actually gave me a better design for mine

Thx result on 2 days 4 servers with average 1.30 KH/s result: Blocks Found: 46 Total Paid: 2131.86029497 Web 0x9771e785080e8f2217c005fd855f3c515c93f65b interesting !! look forward to seeing more ... dev in progress ..? other exchange planned ..? stock.exchange a factory to dump BiteBtc very low *I just added "signature webchain" I'm glad you found it interesting, were you using the same CPU and settings that you showed on the comment before? And well, devs are currently working on the integration with a legal JavaScript miner, adding Webchain as another browser mineable cryptocurrency there. It's what follows on the roadmap. We are working on exchanges, trust me we are. Happens that those that answer quickly are the most expensive ones and as we had no ICO or crowdfunding we can't afford them at the moment. The ones we can afford have a line of other projects being assessed and they take longer than expected to list a coin. Centralized decentralization?

I saw the coin on https://coincodex.com/crypto/webchain/ but the supply is not correct and there are no exchanges added there, it's a known place and visitors could get bad information. You're welcome Thanks for sharing your concern, we appreciate it a lot. We sent a request to update those details to their support team a couple of days ago.

It's own version. Its interface is compatible with ETC, but it is not a literal fork as the term suggests. I see, the pool version i intended to use will not work with this coin no problem, i'll have to use your pool for sure You could try the version you prefer and share with the others how it works for you.

The project is interesting but some thing shocks me - the hash power of some miner on the pools. yesterday 75~35 Kh/s for 1 worker ( what's your rig ? full datacenter .. :p ) a botnet ? my setup multiple server VERSIONS: webchain-miner/2.6.2.0 libuv/1.8.0 gcc/7.1.0 * CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2650 v4 @ 2.20GHz (1) x64 AES-NI * CPU L2/L3: 4.0 MB/30.0 MB * THREADS: 16 1 server = speed 2.5s/60s/15m 381.4 365.6 n/a H/s max: 416.2 H/s Thanks for sharing your stats. Seems like a good token (or coin?) that i could mine, i'm gonna give a try.
just don't let me down please.
We welcome you to start mining off webchain, it's designed to show you how CPU mining can be profitable. There's a short guide to help you out.

Anyone that could give me info about the pools difficulties?
Hi! Here you can find a list with the main features of each pool, including the official pool and the community pools. Hope it helps! Subscribe to our reddit, in case you haven't. Thanks, where can I talk to pool ops in case i need to? Reach out to them on the discord channel https://discord.gg/GMbHpF3

Feel like reading all the comments, but most mention it's a scam. How to believe it isn't?

It looks like a centralized App using the wrong target, but it might be that I'm not getting the big picture.

I really feel good when i see webchain is on the first pages of the forum, this is the only coin that has allowed me to mine using my computer and some old phones, I feel good.
That's the ideal form of a decentralized coin, but for that to work as a sufficient security for large networks you would need a lot of people to participate. you mean security as "security coins vs utility coins"? and yes, it needs more people... but does it need people to use their miners or people buying the coin? I don't know what's the best approach the team can have to get people. tiCeR is referring to the network security and how having more people with installed nodes helps increase that security.

@tiCeR
I agree, allowing to mine on any CPU (even on ARMs, thanks to java miner) is helping decentralization a lot. I really hope Webchain will gain more attention from crypto community so the network security won't be a problem. Right now we all should try to spread the word about this project in social media and telegram as much as we can.
I would also like to remind devs about bitcointalk bounty with signature, which is a great way to promote blockchain projects too.
To make it in crypto world, we know we need to work hard, good intentions & a stellar ideas are not enough, and we won't make it unless we follow the rules and that's what we are working on, in terms of marketing. Join us on twitter, facebook and linkedin

The team is working on this, getting people to like the coin and start mining has not been difficulty, users get interested in the project and make the network security stronger as they join.
