Hello, thanks for your comment. We can't wait to have you mining webchain.

I don't expect myself to be the only one waiting for the coin to be added to exchanges. It's promising for devs but common users seek profitability. Show us the real value soon guys!

Please include easy Solo Mining setup in the final GUI wallet. This can be a strong backbone to network stability and decentralization.

We have coded and added the following features in our pool;

The first Webchain Profitability Calculator. Come and check how much you're making per day in our main page!

A downloadable config with the highest profitability in mind . Just change the address and start mining!

An easier to follow help section with instructions to increase profitability.

What's to come;

A much simpler way to start mining.

A landing page with a FAQ and simple to follow guides with in-depth explanations on everything.

We strive to be the best pool with the most functionality and the lowest fees possible! In one of the following days we're gonna increase our fees in order to be able to sustain the server costs. Until then we're provably 0% fee. We'd be happy to see you come and hash with us!

Today I saw a project called WEBCOIN that held the ICO from late 2017.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2190245.0
...
It may be that from the whole it is completely different to our WEB chain, but the token names of both are the same, both (WEB), and the logo is quite similar.
Webcoin has been listed on the exchange.
Future webchain may have trouble having another coin with the same name.
....
What do people think?

That's right, but do constant protocol changes also pose any risk to the network as a whole or is that no problem?

It's not like we are going to change it everyday. To build ASIC, manufacturers need many months. So to stop ASICs it's just enough to change it from time to disrupt their plans.

Sounds reasonable and if you changed it once, that alone would probably keep manufacturers from building ASICs as they know you will do it again. Interesting Smiley

We applied to first exchanges in last days, so stay tuned! Just don't expect overnight listing, we are not token that can be easly integrated. We have our own blockchain and some exchanges are listing only tokens as this is much easier for them. I expect to see listing in next week or two. I'm hoping for next week listing but unexpected technical problems can prelong a bit. We will keep applying for futher exchanges. Some of them want a lot of BTC for listing and we cannot afford it yet, so expect rather smaller ones with more modest listing prices. Time for bigger ones will come later!

I wonder what kind of exchange we will see first? I hope this is not graviex.
P.S. I am very glad to see that the developers of Webchain are very active on the forum and in social networks. Such projects are now rare.

"worker-id" option is supported in versions >= 2.6.2.0 so download recent miner version from here and edit "worker-id" in pools section in config.json file.
one more thing "worker-id" value must match pattern( length [1 : 8] , contains digits [0:9], lowercase, uppercase latin letters or symbol _ )
if you still face any problem please let me know.
