The project is interesting but
some thing shocks me

- the hash power of some miner on the pools. yesterday 75~35 Kh/s for 1 worker  Shocked ( what's your rig ? full datacenter .. :p ) a botnet ?

my setup multiple server

 VERSIONS:     webchain-miner/2.6.2.0 libuv/1.8.0 gcc/7.1.0
 * CPU:            Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2650 v4 @ 2.20GHz (1) x64 AES-NI
 * CPU L2/L3:   4.0 MB/30.0 MB
 * THREADS:    16

1 server = speed 2.5s/60s/15m 381.4 365.6 n/a H/s max: 416.2 H/s

We welcome you to start mining off webchain, it's designed to show you how CPU mining can be profitable. There's a short guide to help you out.

Back on this page of the forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3649170.600, there were some stats shown for certain kind of hardware and we saw some users explaining their settings to each other on discord justifying these relatively high hashrates. Have a look please!

It's own version. Its interface is compatible with ETC, but it is not a literal fork as the term suggests.

I see, the pool version i intended to use will not work with this coin  Grin no problem, i'll have to use your pool for sure

I saw the coin on https://coincodex.com/crypto/webchain/ but the supply is not correct and there are no exchanges added there, it's a known place and visitors could get bad information.

You're welcome  Wink

Thanks for sharing your concern, we appreciate it a lot. We sent a request to update those details to their support team a couple of days ago.

I'm glad you found it interesting, were you using the same CPU and settings that you showed on the comment before?

And well, devs are currently working on the integration with a legal JavaScript miner, adding Webchain as another browser mineable cryptocurrency there. It's what follows on the roadmap.

We are working on exchanges, trust me we are. Happens that those that answer quickly are the most expensive ones and as we had no ICO or crowdfunding we can't afford them at the moment. The ones we can afford have a line of other projects being assessed and they take longer than expected to list a coin. Centralized decentralization? Cheesy

I like those signature campaigns, and we all know they work pretty well... give some thought to promoting a signature program... payable in WEB and it doesn't have to be so expensive... like not using my real accounts because i don't advertise for free  Tongue
