vote should be considered as failed; such a contract change needs more shareholders to participate

I guess in some (tens of) years with powerful computers the private keys for current addresses will be cracked and those coins (that will not move since) will return to the system
143  Economy / Services / Re: Gigamining / Teramining on: January 27, 2013, 06:34:37 AM
If I was trying to scam Gigaminers, why would I still be here? Why would I not just do what every other now known scammer has done and stopped communicating? Why would I hire a lawyer? Why would I offer Teramining?

Could it possibly be that I want to continue with what we've started here?

Of course you want to continue it has been easy money fleeced from these people already, I notice it is extra BTC you are now trying to take in from these people yet again.

Guess what his lawyer advised him to respond to these kind of questions  Grin

Tonight's going to be interesting.

And thanks to whoever sent me 0.1337 BTC.

gosh I have your address on my watchlist  Wink

I wonder what a panic sell may happen if those coins move  Grin BTW, this may be all orchestrated pump and dump by a group of people trying to exploit bitcoin market. Will be interesting to watch what happens in next couple of weeks  Cool

Hi, I only have 2 share, the cost to hire attorney will be more than my share.
So what should I do??

To all Gigaminers:

Please do not look at a share of gigamining and think that it is only worth what back payments are owed. Please try to look at the combined benefit of Teramining, whether with the paid or free upgrade, to help you understand the true costs of not sending in your information.

As I have said before, my plans include ALL Gigaminers.

Best,
James

2 shares will never earn enough to cover the costs of sending you the required information and you know it.

The worse is that Erik can anytime dump milions of shares if he decides to sell some more  Cool

Not true. There is a 30 day lockup after the IPO sells out.  The anonymous investor could sell additional shares of the 90MM not yet on the market only after the lockup ends.

So, investors are still safe until 30 days after IPO sells? What a relief  Grin

Whether they sell more shares or not is irrelevant; the shares cannot be diluted. The most they can sell is 40 more million shares.

The question is if there's a market for additional 40 million shares at IPO prices. Definitely not.  Grin And if SD becomes less profitable and Erik will dump those 40 million to the market, investors are screwed. The SD shares are ridiculously overpriced at this time. Really.

Would suggest you read the prospectus - he can't just dump them at a low price.

LOL, maybe YOU should read the prospectus yourself again and show me where it states he cannot dump more shares on market  Cool In the contract on MPEX the only thing what somehow hinders selling more shares is the 30 day period after IPO shares are sold which AFAIK is over.

150  Economy / Securities / Re: [FS] [GLBSE] 007 Bonds - 1Mh/s on: January 10, 2013, 11:38:24 AM
best way would be to relist the asset on some other exchange, pay the dividends that were not paid and then let it trade for a couple of months and buy back the bonds as per contract if you wish. You may also execute the buyback following the last trading data from GLBSE (should be found somewhere on these forums).

In all honesty re-listing sounds like a lot of work for miniscule return.

For perspective; I own around half of the 800 bonds, the next largest holding is one quarter and the majority of the rest are single digit amounts (several, like my itchy trigger fingered friend strello, hold one (1) single bond).

My feeling is that 1MH/s bonds are worth somewhere south of 0.05btc, based on the markets decline towards the end of GLBSE and diminishing returns from mining including the looming ASICpocalypse.

Seeking opinions and evidence of similar bonds trading on the new platforms.

If you don't want to re-list (it's quite easy, you just send the file Nefario sent you to an exchange and they have an import script for that), then follow last GLBSE trading data and execute buyback (without paying backward dividends). If you want to make a buyback at the current prices you'll need to pay the missing dividends first.

153  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] YABMC is Closed! on: January 07, 2013, 06:39:44 PM
Thanks for the comments - I am still leaning very strongly towards NOT re-listing but certainly paying coupons well into the future.

So how does YABMC become wound down?

At some point the value of the coupons become almost worthless (due to the certain difficulty increase ASICs will bring).  We do not know WHEN this will happen but it is reasonable to believe difficulty can increase 10x in the next six months (and perhaps 100x soon after).  I believe when the USD value of 1 share's monthly coupons is less than 1 penny ($.01) the shares are effectively worthless and at that point YABMC would close the following week (assuming weekly payments each Friday).

0.01 USD is still 500 USD per month (even more because there were more than 50k shares of YABMC) that you will save (scam) monthly. And there is still possibility that the difficulty may drop afterwards and you will utilize your hardware without paying anything to investors. The only proper way to wind this down is to follow the contract payback clause. If you don't want to follow last trading data from GLBSE than you may relist on another exchange, let people trade the bonds and if it comes to the point that the monthly coupon will be less_than 0.01 USD execute the buyback as per contract. Right now you are trying to scam investors and make everything in your favour.
154  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] YABMC is Closed! on: January 06, 2013, 11:10:59 AM
why not simply relist on some exchange. Then you can pay this as dividends. Experimenting with paymwnts to BTC addresses is strange. Looks like you don't really want to pay at all and are searching excuses not to.

Looks like scammer tag is appropriate here
156  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Virtual Securities Exchange now with Dividend Reinvestment Program on: January 02, 2013, 08:02:15 AM
Hi, got an e-mail that I received dividends at BTC-TC, but no information how I can actually log in into my account. Account name is COGNITIVE-something. I was among the ones who were included in the last (full) list of shareholders Nefario sent, not in the earlier. How am I supposed to log in into my account?

Check your spam folder for an email with the account information

checked already, I didn't receive any e-mail with password to my account. Just an e-mail with dividend notification.

I predict that the price will go sometimes up and sometimes down. Sometimes it will even stay roughly the same. Be prepared  Cool

Hey Garr,

some asset operators got the full list of asset holders from Nefario recently. Did you get it also? I was still missing on your list last time.
160  Economy / Services / Re: Gigamining / Teramining on: December 21, 2012, 06:58:47 AM
I have only 16 bonds of gigamining.
In India, for legal works, which has to be done by timely & correctly, we need to bribe 1000+ INR.
For illegal or other works, then maybe up to 10 times or more.

When i bought gigamining shares for 1.6 BTC/share, no one told me that i have to give all these affidavit or Apostille or notary details to get back my dividends & shares.
While all other bond/contract issuers can give back dividends with out problem, but gigamining cant do it.
Gigamining is the biggest or highly priced shares, which is the 1st one to receive assets holders data.

A simple, bigger screwup done by nefario &, we, who are the assholes, believed that by buying bonds, we will get dividends, which wont even give the ROI, gave our hard earned/mined bitcoins to strangers, who know how to become millionaires or billionaires by other people money & can live happily.

All the laws are sleeping or lost or not even their, until a day before glbse crap shutdown.
After that every thing came alive.

I have seen/read about many piracy, anti piracy things about sharing movies or music..... & law cant punish any one, until the law is made. That made many early shares escape with out any punishment or fines, except bitcoin.

Seems all laws suddenly changes or contracts breached in bitcoin world, whose is now a days run by mafia's or corporates, whose only motto is suck money as much they can, even in dead bodies.

So you must be thrilled that he's using a South Florida lawyer, who is not personally admitted to the Florida bar, who does not google very well if at all, and who is not listed on the website of the firm he claims to be affiliated with.  A firm, by the way, which appears to focus on defense of common criminal matters, not online/computer law, nor intellectual property, nor anything else remotely related to bitcoin or securities law.

What if giga fired his sketchy lawyer and got a smart one who advised him to transfer asset ownership and subrogate the gigamining contracts to a cook islands trust which would hire him as a contractor to manage the mining assets, then relist gigamining on a site like btct.co?  Would that make you feel better?  It would probably be a lot more expensive for you to sue him there than in the US, though.

IANAL of course.

And I'm not sending my personal info to a sketchy unlisted "lawyer" in the area of the US with the highest rate of identity theft. See the second paragraph: http://www.justice.gov/usao/fls/PressReleases/121010-02.html

For me, the biggest problem is, that giga was a very good friend with pirateat40, who defrauded people with lots of bitcoins. Demanding that people send him their personal information is very strange. I wonder if anyone who has already sent him this info will ever see any of their bitcoins.
