141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOES PARTICIPATING IN AIRDROP STILL HELPFUL THESE DAYS? on: September 18, 2018, 10:21:13 AM
Airdrops have lost their worth in my opinion. Apart from Ontology and project hydro, whose airdrops were of worth to the participants, most other airdrops I've signed up for have been worthless. Some of them are a paltry $10 and don't make any sense to try sending them to any exchange to sell. I have a lot of tokens from airdrops in one of m MEWs and barely have any value.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Price Increases by 12% After Losing 1/3 of its Value on: September 18, 2018, 09:43:46 AM
As predicted by a chartist I respect so much in the crypto space, ETH was certain to drop in price again and the increase it got was not to be sustained. The price is current at $197. Hoping to buy the dip once I get a signal from him in readiness for another price increase
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the best icos in july august and september 2018 on: September 17, 2018, 12:40:01 AM
In my opinion, I would rather you did your own research as everyone who will post any coin this thread is just shilling it. Investments in ICOs is a bit shaky for me for now, due to the current situation of the market. So if you still want to invest in any ICO, research them properly and trust your guts as your take the financial decision.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Reputable ICO Grading Site? on: September 17, 2018, 12:29:24 AM
It's hard to tell an ICO rating site of repute. This is because reviews on those sites are usually paid for. So it's hard for them not to be biased in their ratings
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After August, Everyone focusing on October for the Bull Market! on: September 17, 2018, 12:10:39 AM
Every month someone says that the next one will be bullish. but as we see everything we continue to fall. and for me it is unlikely in October that it will change

My exact same thoughts when I saw the thread. It's hard to say for a certainty that the bull run will happen in October, there are no indications pointing to it. Personally, I've ruled out any possibility of a major bull run in 2018 like we had in 2017
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: life of a trader on: September 15, 2018, 12:51:22 PM
please i need advice from those traders have has been in the business for long, how do you combine it with your other normal life activities , i mean cryptocurrency trading , i just started and am glued to my phone every second , advice will be appreciated  Grin Grin Grin Grin
life of a trader must have been very hard untill you learn how to do things properly so i think that such peopel deserve to hage a success

Bro, you are absolutely right. Nevertheless, I believe that the newbie should avoid aggressive trading these days as the market is not very much stable yet. Holding is a very good choice, for now, I am sure.

I'll rather trade than hodl in this present market condition. As a trader, once Technical Analysis and Fundamental Analysis are great, then you're good to go. For hodling, it's difficult now as you don't know the bottom for a coin yet, you could buy and then it tanks even further.

I do little of trading, and I can it's very addictive as I'm constantly starring at my phone to see when I should take profits or exit the market
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason of dying ethereum? on: September 15, 2018, 12:45:30 PM
You should have asked this question before taking an investment decision to buy. Now that you've put the cart before the horse, there's not much you find out now that'll change anything. But to answer you anyways, a lot of reasons cause the ETH market cap drop, the current bearish market condition, weak hands selling off, ICOs dumping their ETH at the exchange for fiat, and some FUD making the rounds in the space.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do traders pay income taxes? on: September 14, 2018, 07:20:40 PM
In my country cryptocurrencies are not considered legal, so tons of traders around here are on a holiday as they don't get taxed. But there are indications this might happen soon as Remitano froze user accounts citing orders by the FIRS to start taxing crypto trading.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose an ICO for investment on: September 14, 2018, 07:15:49 PM
A lot has been said about how to spot the best ICO and bla bla bla, but the fact remains that lately, it takes sheer luck to get good ICOs. This is because an ICOs can tick all the boxes yet tank at the exchange and you'll wondering what happened to all your research and due diligence
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tracking funds in wallet on: September 13, 2018, 04:30:04 PM
For ETH wallets, I use @ETHtokenExplorer_bot, it's a bot on telegram that notifies of your every transaction on your  connected ETH wallet(s). I think you can connect only two wallets for free
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price killing a lot of new ICO tokens on: September 13, 2018, 11:30:53 AM
They are now in tragic lost, I even saw an ICO when ETH's value was around $400-$500 and they declared that 1 ETH = $800 as per their ICO tokens.

I forgot what's that ICO. I wonder how they are doing right now.

ICOs that are still on their pre-sale are having a tough fight of ETH vs. $ value.

These precarious times in crypto. A project I follow has postponed their ICO and this is largely because they know they'll struggle through raising the required amount.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with your bounty tokens? on: September 13, 2018, 11:21:12 AM
I traditional sell a portion of my received tokens listing at the exchange. This has helped me a lot because of the tokens I chose to hodl tanked in price and the losses would have been worse if I did hodl everything. This has been my strategy and it's working.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Articles for BOUNTY campaigns. Manual by BROnty on: September 13, 2018, 11:07:01 AM
This is an extremely great asset to bounty hunters and articles writers. I delved into the world of creative writing not too long ago and I'm proud to say this is going to be my working manual henceforth. Thank you so much and more power to your elbow!

Just a quick question: For someone like me who's not a graphics person, how do I manage creating images that stand out?
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with your portfolio on the bear market? on: September 11, 2018, 07:11:41 PM
The bear market has afforded me the opportunity of buying some coins that were out my reach before now. Sold some of my not so fantastic coins out of hindsight, now they are almost worthless. The money generated was used to buy more good coins. Can't say I'm ready for bull market, but I'm tried accumulating.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Creator Believes Days of 1000x Crypto Growth is Gone on: September 11, 2018, 06:36:54 PM
According to Vitalik Buterin, the co-creator of Ethereum, the days of 1000x growth as seen in 2017 in the cryptocurrency sector is gone.

Speaking to Bloomberg, Buterin emphasized that the awareness of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology has already achieved its high point in Dec. 2017, when the price of major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, and Bitcoin Cash demonstrated 10 to 300-fold returns

Do you think ICO companies are the ones killing the ETH market, due to the rate they dumped the ETH they collect from their sales?

I think this is pure FUD as even himself can't predict with certainty how ICOs will perform. He should try to salvage what has become of ETH right under his watch rather than spread FUD.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100 usd enough to start trading ? on: September 10, 2018, 03:31:33 PM
I dont think so. Some exchanges even will not allow you to trade because of minimum limits. 1k will be better

I think this is dependent on if he wants to use an exchange with leverage tools. Other than that, he should be fine with a $100 for CEX like Binance and co.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100 usd enough to start trading ? on: September 10, 2018, 03:28:43 PM
It's important that you learn the basics of trading before you venture into it. Remember that trading is not the same as hodling. In trading, you follow the trend, buy low sell high.. $100 isn't small to start with. In fact it is better to start small as there will be bumps on the way and you will incur some losses along the way. This is all part of your learning curve. Starting small will ensure you don't lose too much. Note the following;

1. Remember, the trend is your friend, never trade against it.
2. Do not play your stop loss, it is a very important tool.
3. Capital preservation is key.
4. Always take profits!!

Good luck and may your road be rough.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how long will everyone can wait? on: September 10, 2018, 03:19:23 PM
If there's something I've learned in crypto, it is the fact that it is very dynamic and unpredictable. While one will think you'll have to wait for a very time to get to the ATH, sometimes, you may not need to wait for so long. All in all, a lot of patience is needed whether in a bullish or bearish market, try not to have itchy fingers all the time..
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the rise in 2018 be the same as in 2017? on: September 08, 2018, 09:22:23 PM
A bull run is very unlikely this year we had it in 2018. We might be lucky to get some little pump towards the end of the year. There are currently no significant fundamentals to cause a bull run
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH fail 2018?! on: September 08, 2018, 09:17:46 PM
ETH was only good for ICOs and with the current spate of declines in the ICO performances in exchanges, the value of ETH has only continued to drop, I mean even Vitalik himself has come out to say that a lot has to be done to salvage the network
