141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Chain or Binance DEX hype is gone! on: January 25, 2020, 09:44:55 PM
I remember last year, everyone was so hyped about the Binance DEX! Any project goes for Binance chain got huge pumped and price to become very high! Many good projects kept migrating from Ethereum to Binance blockchain! Even people started saying that Binance chain will be bigger than the Ethereum network at the end of 2019! What happened then? Right now, there is no hype for Binance chain and many coins have shit volume in Binance DEX! Do you think any other chain can overtake the giant Ethereum Network?

I really like this observation. I remember vividly when I buy in projects which have plans to move to binance chain or immediately after moving to Binance chain because of pump, then I don't joke with that FA. Right now it's crystal clear that the hype has died down drastically. This is how we follow trends in crypto, they come and go so always make the most of any.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Read whitepaper, could you write a whitepaper in the future? on: January 25, 2020, 11:56:27 AM
I have a theory, if I can read cryptocurrency white papers, maybe in the long run I will be able to write a white paper, because by reading how they are initially written, their structure, technical explanations up to a point of view, and all the elements that a white paper has, I should be able to have notions to write one, what do you think?

You don't need very technical knowledge to write a Whitepaper. Some projects just fine-tune what's on other white papers, or write what they can never achieve on it. Reason why if you only rely on what's on Whitepaper when making research about a project, then you are good as someone who didn't do any research. In essence, if you are a good writer, why not, you can write a peper. Some writers who know nothing about a particular project from onset get paid to write their whitepaper because that's their job, the team then provides information needed.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 of the best Binance alternatives on: January 24, 2020, 03:05:37 PM

1. Bittrex
2. KuCoin
3. Kraken
4. OKCoin
5. OKEx
6. Coinfalcon
7. Huobi
8. Gate.io

On the list I go with Kucoin, Okex and Huobi since I trade with them regularly and I'm impressed so far. I also trade on Gate.io and it's fair. Bittrex used to be my favorite but not anymore. Kraken is cool too even though I don't use it regularly, but coinfalcon and okcoin 🤔 I doubt if they are supposed to be on the list. Why didn't you add Bitfinex?
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Crypto - Part 1 - Top Websites to Find Crypto Jobs on: January 23, 2020, 05:33:33 PM
Nice read 👍 Crypto.jobs looks interesting to me, maybe I'll check it out thoroughly soon. I keep thinking if there will be a platform for crypto related jobs that will compete with the traditional freelance platforms mainstream? This will take time to be achieved anyway. Also, this forum (Bitcointalk) have some very cool sections for crypto jobs, talking based on my experience and earnings so far.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: McAfee in Trouble ? on: January 22, 2020, 04:51:18 PM
Bitcoin Must Gain 13,800% in 2020 to Stop John McAfee Eating His P****s like promised  Cheesy i can't wait to see the end result already, you can click on this link for full news

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-must-gain-13-800-in-2020-to-stop-john-mcafee-eating-his-words/amp

And you took mcaffee's prediction seriously? Well, personally I followed his project hypes wayback, even though most end up being crappie, and it got to a point that most people didn't take his predictions serious anymore.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OneCoin Ponzi Scheme: Scam of the Decade Continues in 2020’s Oceania on: January 22, 2020, 04:11:58 PM
Damn, only ignorant or greedy people will still fall prey. So people still do crypto ponzi schemes? That's weird kind of, since by now I believe crypto enthusiasts will be wiser. Or maybe they defraud those who have no idea about crypto? I'm still trying to figure this out. Onecoin really ripped many people off their hard earned funds, I read an article some time ago saying their founders have been apprehended.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto market moves in like a mystery! on: January 21, 2020, 05:43:29 PM
ofc its always a mystery because everything on crypto are anonymous or hidden  . we dont know if the demand comes from real single people or only came from group of people that only wants to control the price again and again  . organic means natural right  ?  well id think i give to the organic gains this time because people are expecting huge for the upcoming halving  . war is the other reason on why i say that the gain is organic   . but for a normal year that is nothing to expect  , if we see a strange growth , high chance that is artificial  .

Nice points but for now the war threat died down already so has no impact on the market. I also think it's organic growth, but we have to be careful from 25th January to 8th of Next month since Chinese new year might cause a dump, I'm not sure. However, I'm impressed with the market lately, it gives hope.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LSK good to invest ? on: January 21, 2020, 02:02:46 PM
LSK is cool but not in my portfolio anymore because I've been waiting to see projects who will use their platform but none till date. I've been following them, they've been giving steady updates but it's not enough. I'm impressed with the LISK CORE V2.1.4 and LISK wallet updates, yet projects have not started building on LISK platform.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO better than ICO? on: January 20, 2020, 10:19:19 PM
for the moment I think both are equally bad. I mean the presence of the IEO project today is like a market trend, it doesn't last long and only for a moment. honestly at this time I no longer see IEO projects or ICO projects that are truly profitable for investment. they only offer sweet promises and I hate to say this.

Obviously true because most IEOs are still crappie. The truth sometimes is like a bitter pill, very hard to swallow, I like the fact that you pointed out their similarity. Well, IEO is still better than ICO if and only if the IEO is done on a reputable exchange and not otherwise.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: January 19, 2020, 10:12:06 PM
The only secure coins for me with how the market is going right now is a stablecoins. Thanks to Stop-loss, I converted my holdings to stablecoin automatically, but now maybe it's a good entry point again, and I'd advise you to make your huge Bitcoin holding and perhaps some Ethereum and top 5 coins. We have proven to be durable overtime and do not turn to massive losses overnight as we saw with so many coins listed on the 2018 exchanges.

I was holding BTC, ETH, XLM and few altcoins but converted to USDT today. After the Chinese new year which spans from 25th January to 8th February, I'll buy back my holdings. Aside BTC, ETH is the best coin to buy with huge potentials in my own opinion.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you sure crypto is the future currency? on: January 19, 2020, 04:46:53 PM
In as much as blockchain technology has impacted many sectors positively, the governments still see crypto as currency for crime, tax evasion, and associate it with many unlawful scenarios. It will be a hard nut to crack for government to accept crypto mainstream because they claim they are protecting their citizens. However, crypto acceptability is slowly creeping in, from merchants accepting crypto for goods and services, to crypto being used to purchase property etc. It's just a matter of time but won't be easy to come true.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin provides more long-term profits on: January 19, 2020, 02:51:30 PM
Most altcoins to me provide short to mid term profits, not long term comparatively. It's a good thing OP pointed out that Bitcoin influence on altcoin is still very obvious until now, which is the more receive why a wise man will have a considerable portion of his portfolio in BTC. Just very few altcoins give more long term benefits when you hold.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: This is why you shouldn't trust a Centralized Exchange! on: January 18, 2020, 08:58:01 PM
Scam and hacks, are too major reasons why centralized exchanges are questionable, that's true. But we keep using them to trade because for now decentralized exchanges still have a very long way to go in order to replace centralized exchanges (I sincerely doubt if it's ever possible anyway). BCNEX withdrawals above 50$ can't be paid, it goes to pending state without a cancel option. It's clear that everything is not right with this exchange. Most times we preach "do not keep funds in centralized exchanges" but in the real sense, many people are caught up unawares when they trade on the exchange and they get affected.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to 2020, the year of cryptocurrency bull market. on: January 18, 2020, 02:21:47 PM
This post was before Iran USA tension and we already have our first bull run for this year due to this war like situation. Don’t just think that coin halving will be the only event that can create a bull run this year. There will be many other opportunities also that can give us good return. Just wait for those opportunities.

If history is to repeat itself, Bitcoin halving stands out as a very good catalyst to cause market uptrend leading to bullrun. However, I like your choice of words. The market uptrend presently is great, I really like the slow and steady movement even though the upcoming Chinese new year might cause a retrace before the actual FOMO due to halving.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at Gas Stations on: January 18, 2020, 01:33:52 PM
I completely agree with this. Imagine the ease of paying for a gas station with a single QR scan without paper money.
But the problem is how to promote it. In my country, every gas station can pay with e-money. And what I saw was that it was still lacking in public interest. Most of us still pay by fiat.

The issue is not whether it's cool to pay with crypto for gas, but the main hindrance is that use of phone is forbidden in gas stations. Maybe if this will be implemented, it might require a better approach, but if not competitive with the traditional FIAT payment for gas, then it's somewhat baseless. Well I'm impressed with OP's thoughts on crypto mainstream use case, even though this one is questionable.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Central bank coins vs crypto space coins on: January 17, 2020, 08:04:22 PM
Central Bank coins to me will be stable coins, with very negligible fluctuations, hence not threat to cryptocurrencies. The more reason why they will be stable coins pegged to FIAT is because the government won't want speculations to affect the price obviously. Well, I don't really have a deep insight on this for now, till any central bank coin is officially launched, then we will know better.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 start of a fresh market for crypto. on: January 17, 2020, 04:49:46 PM
Hope this is the new beginning!
New beginning to recover altcoins that dropped prices especially bitcoin since last year's collapse. And hopefully by halving we can see the vibrant price of bitcoin again and it returns to the former all time high or beyond. So that many investors will recover also on thier past losses because of crypto currency market crash.

Definitely halving and other amicable news are really causing this uptrend. Well, honestly I will soon convert to USDT to avoid history repeating itself amidst the Chinese new year coming soon. By February, I will get in BTC and some ETH, big time. I really hope things will continue going well this year, it's a very good start.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fun Facts About Void Token: Tron First Deflationary Token on: January 16, 2020, 10:18:37 PM
Lol All these so called deflationary tokens are fake projects, I wonder the dummies who hold such tokens for long term. After BOMB, so many similar baseless deflationary tokens were created mainly to make money and nothing else. Most have no use case, the deflationary concept in the real sense doesn't solve any pain.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Warning! 20 days are over! BCNEX likely a scam exchange now! on: January 16, 2020, 04:10:02 PM
BCNEX is likely scam. I was so astonished getting the mail for the bcnex giveaway. I didn't bother to click it because I'm already obsessed with the exchange. My USDT is hanging there, I was trading BCNX/USDT earlier and when I decided to withdraw, it was "mid summer nightmare" for me. I don't know what kind of system maintenance is that, probably scam. Now they want people to deposit for the giveaway 🤔 All these new exchanges with credibility issues.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Satoshi Vision BSV vs BITCOIN BTC? on: January 16, 2020, 12:12:38 PM
BSV is in no way comparable to BTC in terms of acceptability, recognition and blockchain architecture, even though Craig Wright claims  BSV is a revamped version of BTC. The massive uptrend for BSV is not a good reason to wonder if its better than BTC or will in future. I think some guys who bought in after the huge pump might get trapped soon at dip, just my opinion.
