141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to alts if Bitcoin crashes back to $5000? on: October 26, 2019, 08:06:39 AM
People was not expecting president Xi talk about blockchain, i guess the below $5k wont happen anymore because maybe China will be more open to cryptocurrencies and they wont be highly restricting its development.
142  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s President Xi Urges Accelerated Blockchain Technology Adoption on: October 26, 2019, 04:06:37 AM
The sudden price increase of bitcoin is affecting the altcoins, its dumping and hurting it. I hope this isnt manipulation or bitcoin stabilizes before increasing again. Idon think this is a healthy increase.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will survive on: October 26, 2019, 03:40:15 AM
Well, the HOLD strategy is also not very good for cryptocurrency. In order for the cryptocurrency to work, you need to use it. And do not sit like a chicken on golden eggs.
Its part of the market, hold strategy takes the coins out of the circulation temporarly holders help the price go up because it doesnt create sell pressure.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tradesatoshi exchange no trading fees until 2020 on: October 26, 2019, 01:26:57 AM
No trading fees is really good like many users want this so they will try this then some trading site also will try to follow and use this too

Still better to secure first their trading site like example in tradesatoshi that have a lot of accusation so many users will not try to use this then their team only lure a lot of users by this like this is only like that
No trading fees but still the order books are very thin and i dont see this promo as a good sign maybe because its struggling and the exchange might close soon. I dont want my money to disappear.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't survive alone on: October 26, 2019, 12:10:01 AM
Is this a hidden advertise about WePay and Alipay using a controversial statement in the topic title?
Alipay and Wepay both are not cryptocurrency or platform dealing with the industry, they are even ban users who are caught using their service for crypto.

I agree with you. Bitcoin can't do it alone, BTC needs altcoin's help to spread the crypto industry widely. Even many companies chose Ripple or Ethereum or other altcoins over Bitcoin because Bitcoin transaction takes a long time with higher fees. By seeing the bearish altcoin market, many people keep saying to sell altcoins to buy Bitcoin, some people always say shitcoin to all other coins except BTC! Real people won't care about their words. Just research yourself and pick a reputed altcoin, so you are good and you have no fear to hold those altcoins.
No, We need companies to use the blockchain not altcoins. Bitcoin can do it alone, we just need awareness about the tech.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 Validators to Enjoy Up to 10% in Staking Returns on: October 25, 2019, 11:15:30 PM
Good News, I really think this would get more attention and people gonna dump their other altcoins to get a decent stake.
Binance and other Exchange who has a staking program would gonna jump all over it.
Positive for long-term hodlers.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Tron? on: October 25, 2019, 10:16:58 PM
USDT is now on Tron, maybe we may see more of this
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/tron

The total USDT issued in Tron is increasing kinda fast too.  It was a around 100m USDT around a month ago, now it's on its way to 400m USDT.
What did you expect from Tether and Justin the lier. Tether is hiding their wealth trying to make Tether and i wonder how much they made in the Ethereum network. Its not shocking for bitfinex they need money to pay their lawyers for the court hearing.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people easily get scammed on the internet? on: October 25, 2019, 07:53:30 PM
Theres a lot of main factors why people easily get scam on the internet maybe they have lack of knowledge on what they doing or what they entering, also being greediness  and fomo on what they can see in the internet  thats why if you invest make sure you know what your doing.
There are lots of people that you get their trust easily especially those who are new to trading in the internet. They lack the knowledge of faking accounts, emails or the basic info and most of the times they are primary target of scams.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange platform are why ieos have gone quiet on: October 25, 2019, 01:00:43 PM
I still think running an ICO is ok. I really don't know what's wrong with people. You get people that buy into the most ridiculous projects and you can't even begin to understand their thinking (or lack of) when they choose to fund a bad project or scam. What did they think was going to happen? People seem to just read and believe what projects say they will do if you remain slightly active have some social media and stay active here in the forum. Blind people with some giveaways and flashy bounties.

Then you get people who think ICO are all scams or ICO itself is a scam. This is crazy since it is impossible. There is nothing wrong with running an ICO or supporting one but really people need to wake the !@#$ up
and support projects that bring change. I don't even count these other "projects" as projects because they just copy-paste ICO scams.
It would be impossible when regulations are strict for ICO. You have to register at the proper government agency. I think thats the reason why ICOs today consist of scam because most projects are seeking for IEO for faster funding.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Btc price is allready too high on: October 25, 2019, 12:27:55 PM
People have different idea, you think that the current price high but there are people who think the opposite, the value is determined by each of the individual own perception. There are people who are willing to buy it at the current price, it is one factor of demand.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How many crypto exchanges are really required? on: October 25, 2019, 10:24:58 AM
I'm ok with many exchanges, I don't want a few exchanges getting the monopoly of the market, if this happens, we have no control on decentralization and price will have an impact since these few exchanges can charge a very high fee, because of lack of options, we need more exchanges and each one independent of the other exchanges, the stronger the competition, the better for the community to benefit.
I agree, it will also prevent a big manipulation of the markets and having many exchangez will force them to improve their services and platform. Having few exchangers around will make them comfortable and wont keep on improving.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay Calm, IEOs aren't a threat on: October 25, 2019, 09:32:29 AM
I have overhead many people in various bounty groups talking about how bounty campaigns are gonna die should we move on from ICO to rampant IEO issuance (maybe the exchanges shall take over the advertisements or so).

Fact is that if IEOs become a thing, many projects will arise and hence the services of bounty hunters shall be required again. Every project needs advertisements to expand and that's why we are there as bounty hunters. This is the same way ICOs grew in number.

All we should hope for is a better crypto ecosystem because at the end, we shall be needed for promotion in one way or the other

IEOs are indeed not a threat to bounty hunters. The bounty system have attached itself firmly in the market and new trends like IEO are expected to adapt to it. Bounty system had help many of us and will continue to do so in the future years. Many IEOs will soon appear and since bounties are financially worthy than other investments, many future IEOs will use the method.
Yes, its so firmly attach to the market that most ICOs dont even pay their participants and they pay too low that you would get frustrated for advertising it for many months.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down on: October 25, 2019, 06:30:19 AM
^^ I think it's about time that bitcoin needs some correction because it has been in the overbought zone. Specially after the 5 month big candles we have around @13800, so that's a big retracement already. But it doesn't mean that we are not bullish, personally I wanted to see the price to go down so that those weak hands are shaken again and start the cycle of recovery in the next coming months and reach 5 digits before the end of the year and look forward for the next block halving in 2020.
I also agree with you, but the problem with the BTC correction this time is very deep and beyond the predictions of many analysts, some say this is the impact of the SEC or BAKKT being rejected so that the BTC should rise in October but still go down,
if this goes down to 5k usd, I'm not sure BTC will be bullish anytime soon.
Bakkt rejected? You might be misinformed Bakkt already launched but the volume is terrible. Bakkt trading is being handled by ICE, i think its a company of NYSE.

Is there any update regarding the matter?
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: October 25, 2019, 03:29:23 AM
that year, not all ICOs were successful, some also found a dead end. for now, ICO is not really dead, but people have moved to the IEO system which can be said to have a smaller risk of ICO, and also safer than ICO. little by little people will likely leave the ICO and switch to IEO. I think this has been talked about quite a lot. even, for now, I also prioritize searching for IEO over ICO.
Yes because thats the start where the bear market hit. Also the regulations didnt US and China banned ICO. Thats why people no longer participated for the fear of getting money stuck.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BAT Token integrated into blogging platform on: October 25, 2019, 01:59:16 AM
I also have some friends who often write articles on Blogspot, and even then they haven't gotten results yet, maybe I will introduce this platform to my friends, so they get bat tokens from the effects of writing articles in publish0x
Its too early yet and i think brave browser needs more exposure to attract decent blogger or content makers. I think for now people are just using braves for browsing. The ads are still restricted to other countries maybe that hinders some publishers to use the brave as their main platform.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ultimate List of Exit Scams & How to Spot One on: October 25, 2019, 12:09:27 AM
To all of those scam projects that are featured on that site. Bitconnect is the most popular in the cryptocurrency universe. Actually they made memes about them. That bald guy makes me laugh. Was that the CEO? Actually they're not scam. The project just lack of preparation how they mitigate their problem. If I'm not mistaken it's a lending coin. That happened to be abused by so many. And got bankrupt in the end because of small amount of return. So lesson learned. Never invest on lending cryptocurrency.
Carlos Matos was just an investors maybe the one who made big money from this scam.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOINS OR LEVERAGE ?? on: October 24, 2019, 11:08:52 PM
I think leverage would be for traders, who would want to make money everyday but that would be good for altcoins because this would reduce day traders for their coin. It would help reduce price swing and which makes some coin stable.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do not be deceived by inexperienced bounty hunters on: October 24, 2019, 01:45:06 PM
Lots of people already stopped participating in bounties, sooner or later if this bear market keeps up. People would no longer participate in it because they knew they are going to end up getting scammed or payed by peanuts. Its not worth it and many investors prefer to invest in IEO's which most of those projects don't have any bounties.
160  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: October 24, 2019, 12:26:37 PM
~snip~
You are so annoying, why cant you just leave. No one is going to fall for your scam service again.

Everyone knew the risks of purchasing such tokens, its the bear market. Most altcoins/tokens dropped in value.
