141  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: October 07, 2017, 02:38:12 PM
bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much
Bitcoin is the most popular crypto without any doubt . It is one of the fastest growing investment in the world and It is showing tremendous amount of growth since 3-4 years and I am expecting the same from it as I think Bitcoin still has a lot of potential
Bitcoin is gaining more and more popularity everyday and a very high price can be expected within 5 years. I think in 5 years, the price of Bitcoin can be near 12-15k $.
142  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: October 07, 2017, 09:56:13 AM
Today a question came to my mind that which site will be more profitable a gambling site or a dating site? Actually I want to find out that in which place people are more interested and where people mostly want to go to get fun.
I think a gambling site would be more profitable and gambling is an addiction for many and people tend to loose all their money when they gamble. It is an addiction which gives you chance to earn profits.
On the other hand, dating sites are just for fun and are less popular than gambling sites.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEST NEWCOMER TOKEN IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS!! CAST YOUR VOTE!! on: October 07, 2017, 07:20:29 AM
I think CIVIC is the best newcomer token. Civic's model allows for on-demand, secure and lower cost access to identity. It's a project based upon decentralized identity verification .
The team of civic token is very strong and the CEO of the project vinny lingham is very experienced and already runs a very successful website in US.
The project can show really good growth in future and the project has a lot of potential. Very high returns can be expected from the project.
144  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: October 06, 2017, 05:47:29 PM
Does anyone have any idea how many people are using gold as a store of value vs btc?  And how long do you think until we have the same user Base as holders of gold?
Gold is seen as an investment for centuries and almost everyone everywhere in this world is willing to invest in gold. Gold is the most popular investment in the whole world hence holdings of gold are far more safe and far more stable than holdings of Bitcoins.
On the other hand, Bitcoin is not that popular and its acceptance is limited to only few people but holdings of Bitcoin have a very high rate of growth as compared to holdings of gold.
Therefore, you should hold both of them to make a well balanced portfolio for better profits.
145  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: October 06, 2017, 01:20:39 PM
I currently have 2mil usd for investment.

I wanna invest it on bitcoin. Where can I invest it?

Please give me all the alternatives

thanks!

also, please look at my first post I plan to build a mining farm: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1764338.msg17619998#msg17619998
I believe that you can invest Half of your money in an upcoming project which appear strong to you. You should invest in a project which you think can help you earn high returns within 2-3 years of holding.
Personally I would like to invest in HERO token's ICO as the project seems promising. LAToken is also a unique project to invest in.
The other half should be invested in Bitcoin as it is the most popular and most stable cryptocurrency available in the market. It is also one of the fastest growing investments in the world.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: October 06, 2017, 11:15:09 AM
Right now i trying to mining a lot of coins, i thinking its mabey its good to save the coins like 6-12 mdr before selling it.

Can orther explain about its a good point else about the risk its to high to lose to lot on it?

I think you should hold your coins and not sell them as Bitcoin is gaining popularity everyday which is making it more valuable. Bitcoin still has a lot of potential and it has shown tremendous amount of growth in past couple of years.. If Bitcoin continues to grow at such rate then a prove of 10,000$ can be expected within 1-2 years.
If you plan to sell now, you will only cut your potential profits.

148  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc or Bcc on: October 05, 2017, 02:43:30 PM
I have been following the trend of augment between the support of bitcoin core and bitcoin cash about the one that conform to the idea of the founding father of bitcoin! That is a cryptocurrency that is decentralised, low fee, fast in transferring and use as money and stored of values. In your own opinions which one among the two conform to the ideas of satoshi?
Bitcoin is the first and the most popular crypto currency present in the market right now. It has shown tremendous amount of growth from the day it came to existence. It still has got slot of potential and with its increasing popularity, a very high value of Bitcoin can be expected. On the other hand, Bitcoin cash according to me is just another altcoin. I don't think that it would be able to surpass Bitcoin in coming 5-10 years for sure. It is nowhere as popular as Bitcoin
investment made in Bitcoin cash might be very risky and less profitable than investment made in Bitcoin.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the 3 thing you look for in an ICO? on: October 05, 2017, 12:55:35 PM
I think the first and the most important thing to look for in an ICO is the concept in which the ICO is based upon. The idea behind the ico has to be unique and innovative if you want good amount of returns.
The team is another important factor. A good team ensures high returns in less time.
The third factor according to me is the popularity of the ICO as a popular ICO is like to raise more funds which are essential for development of the project.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: October 04, 2017, 07:50:48 AM
Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.
Participating in ICOs Is risky for people who are inexperienced and don't know how to find a legitimate project as most ICOs today are only scams.
Look for the projects which have a strong development team Which is experienced.
Look for projects which have a unique idea.
Try to find projects which have a working product.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: altcoins bounty campaigns are waste on: October 03, 2017, 04:29:03 PM
Recently i took part in couple of bounty campaigns, and i though i can earn some decent amount through it...but it was a total waste...i took part in targetcoin and coss ico campaign and after 2-3 months i recieved the bounty which is worth only about 8 USD including both Embarrassed it was just total waste of effort and time
Most of the altcoins and TOKENS are scam and are not worth your time but some of the upcoming projects have alot of potential and these are the campaigns you should be a part of. Currently I think hero token is a good altcoin signature campaign as the project has a good concept and the team appears to be experienced.

153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Altcoins are you buying and hodling? on: October 02, 2017, 11:54:14 AM
The coins which I am holding are ethereum, monero, siacoin, golem and civic. All of these coins have shown good amount of growth in past and still have slot of potential.
Civic is the coin which I will recommend you to hold for sure as it is a very unique project. The team is also very strong and the CEO is vinny lingham who is very experienced.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: October 01, 2017, 07:32:23 PM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
Ethereum is one of the coins available in the market which is surely worth buying. It is a very popular coin and currently ethereum platform hosts most of the ICOs. The coin can show serious amount of growth in future.
Monero and litecoin are also very interesting projects and can be considered for a long term investment.
155  Economy / Economics / Re: could bitcoin be replaced by another crypto currency? on: September 30, 2017, 07:53:34 PM
i do this question because i´ve read in this website issues with bitcoin, slow mining process, high fees, etc. and i´ve read too good reviews of some altcoins, ethereum (smart contracts), ripple (for transfers between banks), dash and nem. these altcoins called 2.0. could bitcoin become just in future virtual gold reserved to companies and rich people?
Yes, anything is possible but the chances are extremely low. It is simply because of the fact that Bitcoin is the most popular and most accepted crypto available in the market and it would take years for any other altcoin to reach this level.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had $50,000 to invest into mining, or coins... on: September 30, 2017, 02:50:30 PM
If you had $50,000 to invest into mining, or coins...

Would you GPU Mine, or buy Asics?
What percentage would you put into altcoins?

I'm curious to see how others would spread their money.

For me, I would probably start with half GPU mining, half Asics.  I'm new though so I'm not sure what is best if I had that type of money.
.
Looking at the current scenario, minning is not a highly profitable venture right now. I think that you should invest in various crypto coins and tokens. Buy altcoins like civic and neo as these coins are sure to be successful
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: September 30, 2017, 01:14:18 PM
Should we invest in altcoins?and why?which is better altcoins or equity shares?
I think you should invest in some progressive altcoins like ethereum, monero and golem. All of these coins can show tremendous growth as these coins are based on a unique idea. Invest in altcoins which have a good team as team is one of the factors which decide whether a project Wilkins successful or not.
158  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: September 30, 2017, 12:46:19 PM
Reading the responses to the recent topic titled, "I would sell all my bitcoins if…." has left me concerned.

The kinds of responses on that thread reveal a deep misunderstanding of bitcoin and the current monetary system in many of those who are speculating. Let's consider the scenario in which bitcoin reaches $1000 or let's say $10,000 per bitcoin. Many have said they will cash out if bitcoin reaches this point. Why??

If bitcoin reaches $10,000 it will have to be because the fiat currencies of the world are tumbling to worthlessness via a hyperinflation type scenario and bitcoin is the safe haven, which if you know anything about the current monetary systems of the world, you know this is inevitable. (there have been 3800 fiat currencies throughout history and EVERY SINGLE LAST ONE has crashed to worthlessness; a value of zero) Why would you then sell all of your sound money (Bitcoin) for a bunch of fiat money that is inevitably becoming worthless? I don't understand the logic in doing that.

If bitcoin ever reaches $10,000 per bitcoin, you will NEVER see me selling for fiat paper money. You may however see me having a shopping spree at Overstock.com or TigerDirect.com or NewEgg.com! I will be buying things I want with my bitcoin profits DIRECTLY WITH BITCOIN, not selling my bitcoin for paper fiat. Hopefully by then there will be many more options, perhaps even Amazon.com will be accepting bitcoin for goods and I can have my shopping spree there.

Point being, selling bitcoin for dollars seems counterproductive. Why convert your paper fiat currency into sound value storing superior bitcoin, only to sell all of your superior bitcoin back for worthless antiquated fiat currency again? Why not just spend the bitcoin itself to buy what you want instead of taking a loss by converting back into dollars which will inflate away eventually anyway?
Yes I agree with you. Bitcoin has a lot of potential and it will surely grow in future. The current price of Bitcoin is nowhere near to the price Bitcoin can achieve.
Right now, Bitcoin is limited to only people who have access to the Internet. Once it will gain more popularity, it will show an increase in value.
159  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: September 30, 2017, 08:44:53 AM
Does anyone have any idea how many people are using gold as a store of value vs btc?  And how long do you think until we have the same user Base as holders of gold?
Both gold and Bitcoin have their own separate advantages. Holdings of gold are really stable and you can be sure that the value of your holding will only go up. In case of Bitcoin, the value of your holdings will grow with a tremendous growth rate   you should invest in both of them.
160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: September 30, 2017, 06:02:46 AM
If I planned on buying some coins today. Which would be the better long term investment, and why?
I think that you should diversify your portfolio between Bitcoin and altcoin. This diversification will reduce the market risks and help you earn high returns in the long run. Invest 50 percent in Bitcoin and the rest in altcoins like ethereum and monero.
