121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: October 14, 2017, 05:33:33 PM
Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

Thanks!
Ethereum is one of the most popular platforms for hosting ICOs and it is without any doubt, the biggest competitor of Bitcoin. Ethereum blockchain has some extraordinary capabilities. One of them is that you can build smart contracts. Ethereum virtual machine is also another good feature of ethereum. The team of the project is very strong and Vitalik Buterin, inventor of Ethereum believes that his creation can show tremendous growth in future.
I think that within an year or so, the price of ethereum will surely be above 700$.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheap undervalued coins likely to surge. What do you think? on: October 14, 2017, 04:34:59 PM

Taken from here:
https://twitter.com/ICOAlerts/status/916739917102878722

What do you think?
I think only civic has the potential to do that
I totally agree with you. CIVIC is one of those projects that is sure to show tremendous amount of growth in future. The project is based upon low cost identity verification with help of Blockchain technology. The founder of the coin -vinny lingham is an experienced Blockchain enthuthiast and the team is also very strong.
I think within an years or so, the price of the coin will surely double itself. High returns can be expected from this coin in future.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin on: October 13, 2017, 04:47:07 PM
Hey guys, very new here so if this is not the right board please redirect me.

if you look at the charts of litecoin, it has had the same trend for the last couple of months. It pumps up then drops all the way down to the support line, it is at the support line now, would it be a good time to buy litecoin ?
I think that you should buy litecoin as it is very popular altcoin.it is almost 4 times faster than Bitcoin. Litecoin is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency that enables instant, near-zero cost payments to anyone in the world. The Litecoin blockchain is capable of handling higher transaction volume than its counterpart - Bitcoin. Due to more frequent block generation, the network supports more transactions as block time is only 2.5 minutes.
I think the price of litecoin will cross the 200$ mark by end of next year as it is becoming more popular everyday. You should invest in and hold litecoin as high returns are somewhat certain.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinion about Ethereum, ICOs and the future on: October 12, 2017, 02:42:13 PM
Ethereum has great potential and I see it reaching $500 this year and even go higher in 2–3 years!
Looking at the current popularity of ethereum, you can expect ethereum to show amazing amount of growth in future. Ethereum is a decentralized platform that runs smart contracts which makes it one of the most suitable platforms for hosting ICOs.
The team of ethereum is very strong. Vitalik is the creator of Ethereum and he is a Blockchain enthusiast. Ethereum has shown good amount of growth till now Ms you can only expect a brighter future. I think within 3 year, price of ethereum would be above 2000$ mark.
125  Economy / Economics / Re: What would benefit bitcoin more? on: October 10, 2017, 03:03:03 PM
I think the major headache of Bitcoin's operability is the lack of support from governments and central banks to accept it into their jurisdiction because they see it as competition and so I think if the president or head of state of a particular country or all countries starts promoting Bitcoin it will be the best thing among the lots listed.

I think the thing which will benifit Bitcoin the most is an increase in popularity. An increase in popularity can lead to a massive rise in the price of Bitcoin. An increase in popularity will increase the acceptance of Bitcoin on international level which will also aid in the growth of Bitcoin.
Awareness campaigns can help people to understand the technology of Bitcoin and it will encourage people to invest in Bitcoin which will increase the demand of Bitcoin which will also help Bitcoin to achieve a higher price.
126  Economy / Marketplace / Re: how earn btc from online??? on: October 09, 2017, 04:40:10 PM
hey...I want to know easily  earn btc from online...can you give some tips about it...someone only tell me that earn btc easily bt they not given any tips...plz...anyone help me
You can earn Bitcoin by participating in signature campaigns and social media campaigns like Twitter and Facebook campaign. Participating in these campaigns is the easiest way to earn BTC.
You can also earn a healthy amount of BTC by trading and investing the coins you have. But both trading and investing are risky.
Trading involved the risks of markets. You can invest in a scam if you don't research properly so investing is also a bit risky.
You can also earn small amounts of BTC by lending your coins and earning interests.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: October 09, 2017, 02:17:12 PM
Based on what it has been seen among the wide array of altcoins such as development, innovation, and security issues, what altcoins might survive in the future?

In my opinion, I think that the only ones prone to survive would be good old altcoins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, but I may be wrong.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this as well as any altcoin that might be worth holding onto for the long term.  Grin
according to me, the only altcoins that might be able to survive in the future are the coins which are really popular and have a really strong developement team. I believe that ETHEREUM, CIVIC, LITECOIN, MONERO and SIACOIN are the coins which will surely survive as all of these coins have a very unique and interesting Concept. Ethereum for its smart contracts, civic for low cost identity verification, siacoin for decentralized clouds storage, litecoin for its fast transactions and monero for its completely anonymous nature.
All of these coins night help you good amounts of returns in future.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold BTC or Buy Altcoins - Hard fork on: October 09, 2017, 10:48:27 AM
So the hard fork is near and it must be difficult for beginners to what to choose. I am myself confused what to do.
Vote your choice and see the results and share your opinions on the fork.
Obviously everybody would want to make this opportunity a profitable one by increasing the capital. So what do you think would be more profitable out of the given options.

Looking at the increase in value of Bitcoin in the previous hard fork, you can expect the value of Bitcoin to increase to a very high level. The value of Bitcoin can possibly climb above 5500$ mark. You will also gain some Bitcoin gold if you hold your Bitcoins and the value of Bitcoin gold can be around 500$ as well. So you can expect very high returns, if you hold your coins.
Holding altcoins is not a good option as increase in value of Bitcoin will surely lead to a blood bath in altcoin market. The value of altcoins will surely reduce to a very large extent of price of Bitcoin goes up.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you think about Ethereum in like 5years? on: October 09, 2017, 08:50:05 AM
What do you think about Ethereum in like 5years?
Still existing as the dominent blockchain platform? Or disapeared?

Plz share your expectations Smiley
In five years, you can expect the price of ethereum to be near 1500-2000$ for sure as ethereum is one of the most popular cryptocurrencies available in the market right now. It is currently, the most used platform for new tokens and ICOs. The most important features of ethereum include smart contracts and fast transactions.
The team of ethereum is also very strong and the founder of the coin - Vitalik Buterin knows how to take his creation to top of the crypto world.
130  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading altcoin and holding bitcoin which one is more profitable? on: October 09, 2017, 05:22:11 AM
I think both holding and trading have their own advantages and disadvantages.
Trading is an effective way to earn huge profits in a very short interval of time but it's very risky as crypto market is highly volatile and you can loose all you have in a single unlucky day.
Holding Bitcoin on the other hand is very safe and you can surely expect growth in long term but the rate of growth will relatively slow as compared to trading.
I prefer to play safe and I think holding is better option.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it good time to invest on DGB and Sia coin,Burst coin, waves,NEM on: October 09, 2017, 01:17:32 AM
Hi experts
is it good time to invest on
DGB
Sia,
burst
NEM
Yes, I think right now is a very good time to buy all these coins as all of these coins are still available at a very low price and you can expect very high returns in the long run.
I think you should definitely buy SIACOIN as it is highly undervalued. It is a project based upon idea of decentralized cloud storage.
Digibyte is also still available at a very low price. In 2016, Microsoft nominated DigiByte Holdings to the Microsoft BizSpark so we can expect healthy amount of growth from DGB too.

Who's holding WAVES or thinking about getting WAVES??  What are you guys most excited to see about the WAVES!!?
Waves is a coin you should hold for long term investment as it is regarded as an ethereum killer by many. It is believed that waves is the coin which will replace ethereum and will become the most used platform for hosting ICOs.
predicted price of waves near 30$ in 3 years so Very high returns can be expected from waves.
133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: October 08, 2017, 05:46:30 PM
I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?
I don't think that it would be a very wise decision to go all in and risk your whole life's earning into Bitcoins only or any other investment for that matter because DIVERSIFICATION is the only thing which can save you from the risks of market. CRYPTO market is very volatile and investment made only in Bitcoin is very risky.
If you want to invest, you can invest 25 percent of your wealth in Bitcoin and crypto and diversify the rest.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What encourages you to invest in any altcoin? on: October 08, 2017, 03:22:31 PM
I am a crypto enthusiastic and i know a 90% of people here on bitcointalk are as well.
There are a lot of altcoins in the market today. What should one look out for before investing in any altcoin
The two things that encourage me the most to invest in any altcoin are the popularity and the rate of growth of that coin. Other things like concept of the coin and team also matter. The popularity of the coin is important because the popularity of the coin decides it's acceptance. The popular the coin, the higher the acceptance.
The rate of growth also matters as higher rates of growth makes the investment in the coin more profitable.
A strong and unique concept of coin and a strong team is also a positive aspect to look at.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you invest? (BTC vs ETH vs BCC vs LTC) on: October 08, 2017, 12:05:12 PM
I sold my altcoins and had 100K USD on my local exchanges.

But i don`t know which coins is the investment at the moment?

Which coin do you invest? (BTC vs ETH vs BCC vs LTC)

Please give me your opinion.

Regards
I think the world of crypto is very volatile and diversification is your best approach to reduce the risks of market and to increase your chances of profit.
According to me you should invest in all of these coins [BTC, LTC, ETH & BCC] as all of these coins are very popular. All of these coins have shown good amount of growth in past and same can be expected from them in future.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Coins are a great LONG-TERM investment ???? on: October 08, 2017, 10:08:06 AM
Hey folks,

what do you think, which tokens are a great investment for 5-10 years?

All people tend to speculate on short-term moves but I am more interested in tokens that will go up x times over the next couple of years...

so to say, the Amazons and Googles of the crypto world.

Which coins are REALLY GROUNDBREAKING in your eyes and why?

I mean Bitcoin started the whole thing but technically there are so much better, safer, faster, more anonymous coins that should take over in the long run.

Please share your opinions
I think many altcoins have the potential to be successful if you are willing to hold them for long term and ethereum, siacoin and golem are my top three picks.
Golem is a decentralized super computer and anyone who owns golem can access it easily.
Ethereum as it is currently the most used platform for hiding ICOs.
SIACOIN is decentralized cloud storage and I think it's currently undervalued.
All these coims can help you earn good amounts of profits in the long run.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: October 08, 2017, 08:07:48 AM
Coinbase CEO believes bitcoin will replace dollar within 15 years.

Read the following news:
http://cointelegraph.com/news/114983/coinbase-ceo-bitcoin-will-replace-dollar-within-15-years

Do you think it will be true? Are you positive towards bitcoin's future status?
I don't think Bitcoin will be able to replace Bitcoin within 15 years simply because dollar can be used offline but the use of Bitcoin required Internet.
Dollar is the most popular currency in the entire world and it is accepted almost everywhere and by everyone in this world. Whereas Bitcoin is not that popular. Bitcoin is seen mostly as an investment by many.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves future on: October 08, 2017, 03:44:55 AM
What is the waves future?
please share your opinion
Waves has a very bright future according to me.
I regard waves as the ethereum killer and I believe that it will replace ethereum in future and it will become the most used platform for ICOs. It has a lot of potential and Waves can show tremendous amount of growth in future.
In 5 years the price of waves can be 50$.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the 3 thing you look for in an ICO? on: October 07, 2017, 06:20:46 PM
As the question reads.  For me:

-  The concept/vision - is it innovative?  does it solve a real world problem?  is the problem it solves something I am interested in?
-  The team - Size and experience.
-  How the coin relates to the concept.  Is the coin a key part of the platform?  Are other payment methods available to users, etc.

The three things are look for in an ICO are :

IDEA- a project based on a unique idea has a higher potential than a project based upon a copied idea. the chances of growth are also high for a project based upon unique idea.

TEAM - a strong and experienced team will spend your invested money wisely and will try to ensure that the project is successful.

WORKING PRODUCT - a working product helps you to judge of the project is legit or not.

I think ethereum is one of those coins which are sure to grow in future as it is one of the most popular crypto currency available in the market right now.
It is currently the most used platform for ICOs and new projects.
It has a really strong development team.
I think the price of ethereum will cross the 1000$ mark within an year or so and investment in ethereum can help you earn high returns.
