21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple: A long term investment or short term? on: November 13, 2017, 05:28:59 PM
I'm thinking of acquiring some ripple but i need to know if it's a short term investment or long term.
Coz i have been following the market trend and I've not seen a steady increase for the past few weeks.
So, is it for long term or short term?
Coz to me it seems the coin has some potential.

I think ripple is one of those coins which you should surely hold in the long run. It is a coin based upon the idea of global value transfer. It is currently Used by companies such as UniCredit, UBS and Santander and many banks are adopting it for global payment transfers. The coins also has a really strong team and the coin looks really promising in the long run.
The coin has alot of potential to grow and you can expect the value of ripple to be above 0.5$ within 2-3 years for sure.
22  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: November 13, 2017, 04:42:40 PM
Hi , I'm new so basically I still have a lot to learn about the cryptocurrency , but I would like to know if it would be possible for the bitcoin to start the downfall ? I mean like what scenario can happen that the bitcoin would be pushed back like 5-6 years ?
Sorry if my post is in the wrong place or it's not relevant.
I don't think that its possible for Bitcoin to loose all its value as it is the most popular crypto available in the market and has alot of believers. Many people regard it as one of the fastest growing investment available in the market and alot of people have invested their hard earned money in Bitcoin. With the rise in its demand and popularity, you can only expect a higher value of Bitcoin in the future.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100K in 5 alt coins on: November 13, 2017, 03:00:00 PM
So I've seen a couple of these posts before, Where people ask's for suggestions on which single altcoin to put X amount of money into, with the hopes of it making them millionaires. Thought i'd try doing the same thing, buuut seeing as I Don't really feel like putting all of my trust into one coin, I thought i'd Do it with 5 coins.
i would recommend you to invest in MONERO, LITECOIN, SIACOIN, CIVIC and RIPPLE as i think that all of these projects have alot of potential to grow and you can earn healthy amounts of profits by investing and holding them in the long run. Monero being famous for its privacy and litecoin being famous for its quick transactions can provide stability to your portfolio whereas civic, siacoin and ripple can provide faster rates of growth to your investment.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Coins are a great LONG-TERM investment ???? on: November 13, 2017, 01:14:39 PM
Hey folks,

what do you think, which tokens are a great investment for 5-10 years?

All people tend to speculate on short-term moves but I am more interested in tokens that will go up x times over the next couple of years...

so to say, the Amazons and Googles of the crypto world.

Which coins are REALLY GROUNDBREAKING in your eyes and why?

I mean Bitcoin started the whole thing but technically there are so much better, safer, faster, more anonymous coins that should take over in the long run.

Please share your opinions
Litecoin and monero are the two coins which can show tremendous profits in the long run as both the coins are very capable platforms. MONERO is a coin based upon the idea of complete privacy and security. It is one of the most popular coins available in the market and can show good amounts of growth from future.
LITECOIN is a coin which is famous for its lightning quick transactions as it is almost 4 times faster than Bitcoin. You can expect the price of litecoin to be above 300$ within 2-3 years for sure.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2017, 01:18:30 PM
People used bitcoin to have a big salary to support there financial needs. They can earn and invest more money here. Bitcoin has a big role in our life. Using it can make your life happy and beautiful because you have a money to buy something that you want. You can get your own income here.
Yes definitely people should use bitcoin. It is the easiest way to earn money. You just have to enroll yourself in a signature campaign and you will be paid according to your rank.If your rank is higher, you will be paid more.As the price of bitcoin is rising day by day, investing in bitcoin is a profitable deed for people. You will get huge profits in a short period of time.Unlike the fiat currency, bitcoin can be carried anywhere irrespective of the amount. You just need to have a bitcoin wallet for this purpose. To use bitcoin, you just need to have an internet connection.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: November 12, 2017, 12:56:25 PM
There must be no question mark of survival about bitcoin. There is no doubt it will survive for long term. I think btc will be more popular in future bcc or any other coin can not stop the pace of btc. Btc is the king of crypto currency. But today I have seen bcc is very aggressive but I don't think so it can match btc price, too much volatility in Bcc today. Btc is more trustable coin on the other hand Bcc will take time to be known as trusted coin.
Everything is possible here. There are many chances of survival of bitcoin observing the current position of bitcoin. In the last eight years,it has gained a new height. It is the leading cryptocurrency today and all the other cryptocurrencies and altcoins are regulated with respect to bitcoin.A large number of people are now investing in bitcoin as its prices are going very high.Number of bitcoin users are also increasing day by day.Though it is not legalised in many nations,it is still getting as popular as the fiat currency.
27  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best coin to buy today? on: November 10, 2017, 05:37:18 PM

Bitcoin without any second thoughts is the best coin to buy right now . Bitcoin's value is so good that anyone involved in the market would like to get involved with bitcoin . Everyone is backing up bitcoin . But bitcoin is very expensive so one can also look out for other alt coins which have a good market value , but out of all of the crypto currencies bitcoin is no. 1 .
Looking for other ICOs  can be an alternative but one needs to be very sure and calculative before investing and buying them.
Today bitcoin is the leading coin in the world. It is the leading cryptocurrency and all the other altcoins are regulated with respect to bitcoin. In the last eight years, bitcoin has gained a new height and its price is at its all time highest.Furthermore,it is expected to reach $10,000 at the end of the year.If you invest in bitcoin, you will get profits more than before as the prices are high.Today many people are using bitcoin even though it is not legalised in many nations.Traders now have also started trading bitcoins.
28  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: November 10, 2017, 04:47:04 PM
The word cash comes in mind its full of risk you cant carry cash easily from one place to another may b it robbed or lost so bit coin safe you from all these kind of risks and make easiness for you.it is expected that in future cash will be took place by bitcoin most developed countries central banks threat by bitcoin and thinking to buy bit coin secure the economy of the country.
Many bitcoin earners hold their bitcoin instead of converting it all to cash because of the abrupt rising of bitcoin value. And for that reason they hold their bitcoin to gain more profit soon, bitcoin value is oscillating and its favor in rising then it is a good sign for the future of that crypto currency, as many bitcoin earners hopes that years later the value of bitcoin  will double its value for the coming years.
Bitcoin is the easiest way to earn money. It is easy to regulate as it is operated online. It is also easy to handle than the paper money.Bitcoin wallet is used for receiving the payment.Physical money is not possible to be carried everywhere but bitcoin can be carried anywhere irrespective of whatever the amount is.Investing in bitcoin also gives huge returns.Holding bitcoin can lead to more money. But this is not possible in case of fiat currency.Bitcoin can also reduce the risk of theft as it is all internet regulated.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country banned bitcoin? on: November 10, 2017, 04:10:59 PM
why some country banned bitcoin?
is there any problem? i know that bitcoin is international crypto currency. but why some country banned this cryto?
Some country banned bitcoin because they say that bitcoin is very dangerous. They say also that the terrorist use  bitcoin to attack their country and to have more information about their country. So they banned the bitcoin in their country because they think that it is not safe.
I think that one of the reasons why bitcoin is being banned in some countries is that it is not being controlled by any government or any central bank that is it is decentralized and no one can trace it.Bitcoin wallet is used for the purpose of receiving and giving payments in bitcoin.Only the donor or receiver have the information of the payment. So government cannot trace it.So this can be used in transferring the black money by the criminals or politicians.Operating bitcoin also requires internet accessibility which is not possible for every person as internet is not available in every corner.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ideas to make some bitcoin on: November 10, 2017, 02:37:25 PM
There are many ways to earn Bitcoin.
If you want to earn Bitcoin, you can invest in a good side if you want to invest Bitcoin is a good way to earn.
Bitcoin income is one of the more popular means of trading, trading allows you to earn a lot of Bitcoin.
One can make bitcoins by enrolling himself or herself in signature campaigns. In a signature campaign, you are paid according to your rank per week.Higher the rank, more will be the payment.Secondly, one can also invest in bitcoin if one has money.High profits can be achieved if one invests in bitcoin as its price is very high. One can do trading of bitcoins too.If one knows how to do translation, they he or she can try their skills in translation as we can earn a lot of bitcoins from here also.If you already have some bitcoins, then you can save them for future too as the price of bitcoin is rising day by day.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: November 10, 2017, 01:23:14 PM
Of course, there is a risk, because bitcoin now has big price fluctuations. If you invest all your money in bitcoin, you may lose money in the short term and you will be under a lot of pressure. So I do not recommend that you invest all your money in bitcoin, with a small investment. Of course you have to understand the risks of investing. good luck. Smiley
Yes definitely it is very risky to turn all of out money to bitcoins. The biggest disadvantage of bitcoin is its volatile nature. We do not know when will its value increase or decrease and upto what extent.Though today its price is at a very good level and we cannot say what will happen tomorrow.Few weeks back its value was very low.People who had invested in bitcoin suffered a big loss recently. You should need to have an adequate knowledge about bitcoin and investing or trading in bitcoin.Since it is not under the control of any central bank or government, there can be many cases of fraud too.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: November 10, 2017, 12:27:13 PM
Yes, in my own opinion that when technology is on the rise and because the material for creating the paper money is reduced or decreased in a great way, and we need to reason with those materials for our needs. and I also need to introduce bitcoin to them so as not to become strangers with this type. The government needs to approve the bitcoin with its legality. and bitcoin should really be the future of us all, and bitcoin is the future of money in the future.
No one can predict the future but observing the current position of bitcoin,it is possible that bitcoin can become the future of money. In today's date, bitcoin has become the leading cryptocurrency. In the last eight years,it has touched a new height. Now,a great percentage of people know about bitcoin.Although it is not legalised in many nations,it is being used by many people. The world is getting digitalised so in future it is possible that bitcoin can come equal to the fiat currency.Everything can be traded online too in future. Many people also invest in bitcoin so as to earn profits.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: November 07, 2017, 08:00:38 PM
I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have potential, good and bad, opportunity and threat. Even though we all can see that bitcoin have great opportunity for the economic status of the country, the government is still more concerned to the potential threat of cryptocurrency in regards to illegal transactions.
Though bitcoin has a very big potential and is the leading cryptocurrency today,it is still not accepted in many countries or nations.Since it is not controlled by any central bank or any government,it can lead to fraud. It requires internet accessibility and knowledge about how to operate it.People in many nations have not even heard about bitcoin. They depend upon fiat currency.Digitization is still a long way to come.Physical money is what people use for day to day purposes.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: November 07, 2017, 06:26:29 PM
is bitcoin more popular than US Dollar ?

Dollar is still popular in the world but bitcoin is now started to bloom in the currency world. It is being accepted in some ares as payment for services but in a very limited aspect but expected to accept it throughout the world in the future because of the special characteristics that bitcoin have.
Bitcoin is getting popular but it will never surpass the popularity of dollar even in the long run, bitcoin is limited for online transaction only and majority of the people are not using online payment processor, the main reason is they don't have the need yet.
Dollar is a money which is in a form of paper and people are comfortable in using it as it's very simple and anytime you can spend it.
I personally prefer US dollar over Bitcoin because firstly, US dollar is more stable than Bitcoin because of which its value does not fluctuate as compared to Bitcoin.Secondly,US dollar is controlled by government resulting in increasing its stability whereas Bitcoin is decentralized.Thirdly,Bitcoin requires a stable internet connection which is not available throughout the world.Still on the other hand US dollar does not require any internet connection for transaction.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Altcoins are you buying and hodling? on: November 07, 2017, 05:16:25 PM
I'm curious, I know there are a lot of traders on this forum.

But

1. How many of you folks are investing in and holding altcoins?

and

2. Which ones are they?
The coins that i am holding are MONERO and ETHEREUM and i think that these coins have enormous potential and can really grow in future.
Monero is a coin famous for its full security and privacy protection. The transactions are secure and untraceable. It's a coin in which everyone should invest in.
ETHEREUM is another coin i would recommend you to hold as it is a coin which is the master of all smart contract coins available out there. It is the most popular platform for hosting ICOs and can show good growth in future.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: November 07, 2017, 04:44:36 PM
It seems that experts say that Bitcoin 'Here to Stay,' But Banks Could Disappear.

"TheStreet: How do you think FinTech will impact the way banks operate?

Frank Schwab: Banks either react on, or they will disappear. Anyway, the consolidation of the banking industry accelerates as the behaviour of people changes. Some banks will benefit from [FinTech], some will be pushed to the back end, and some will disappear."
http://www.thestreet.com/story/13419089/1/bitcoin-here-to-stay-but-banks-could-disappear-says-fintech-expert.html

What's your read on that?

I don't think that bitcoin is strong enough to completely replace the banks because banks play a major role in the economy. And since the majority of people are not part of the online market, cryptocurrency has still a long way before it can reach the life of an ordinary person, in my country at least. Here, banks are still more important. But I know there would be time that bitcoin will rule everything out.
I would choose banks over bitcoin even though bitcoin has higher potential of making one rich. Still I’m going for banks over bitcoins is because firstly, banks are way more popular than bitcoins among people. Which has lead to increased users to banks which are far more than bitcoin’s. Then bank does not require internet to run whereas bitcoin can’t survive without internet and still there are many places where internet is still not available. Then banks regulate the fiat currency leading to making it more stable and easy to use.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin replace gold? on: November 07, 2017, 04:25:00 PM
Nope, gold will remain gold and bitcoin will remain bitcoin.  They are already good as it is. They are both have a potential and value of each other. It is good that we can have them both so when the time that bitcoin will lose its price then we can still have Gold.
Well, gold has a value that will never die. even gold has never been replaced long ago. gold has become a very luxurious item, and bitcoin will not replace gold. because gold has a value that is not in possession of bitcoin.
Even though bitcoin has escalated over gold in terms of price but still I don’t think that bitcoin is better than gold because firstly, gold is way more popular than bitcoin among teenagers and other age groups than bitcoin. Then gold has way more users than bitcoin. Then gold is more stable than bitcoin its value does not fluctuate whereas bitcoin’s value fluctuate a lot. Then gold is regulated by government whereas bitcoin is not regulated by any government. So because of these reasons bitcoin is not better than gold.
38  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: November 07, 2017, 03:54:35 PM
I believe that if you have good amount of money and have nothing to do with it,  you should invest some of it in bitcoins and give it a try,  as bitcoins is fluctuactive,  as their prices go, high and high. So you never know that your small investment in bitcoins doubled or tripled your input. Bitcoin is continously growing and getting popular in people.  Many brands and companies, authorities are starting accepting bitcoins as a currency. Bitcoin is the first crypto currency so, it is always stay in trend and will always be everyone perfect..
Bitcoin has become a turnover in the market.  I believe that investing in bitcoins is a good way to invest your money.  As real estate, gold doesn't grow with the rate by which bitcoin grows.  So an investment may make you billionaire in future.
Yes bitcoin is a very good way to investment your money. It is the leading cryptocurrency in today's time and is the most stable one.You will get a big amount of money if you invest in bitcoin.Over the years, your investment will get multiplied and you will receive tremendous amount of profits.Bitcoins are now being accepted by many people.Trading is also done. Many retailers, brand companies are now accepting bitcoins.Since it is not under the control of any central bank, all the earnings are received by the user.
39  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: November 07, 2017, 03:19:44 PM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?

corruption can happen anywhere and anytime, especially if in terms of money, everything is in the individual
It all depends on the person who are having a major portion of bitcoins in their wallets. If they want to use bitcoin in any kind of illegal activities like that of corruption, then it is very much possible to experience this thing. Bitcoin itself cannot be used in any kind of activities. It is we, who has to decide where to use our bitcoin. We need to stop bitcoin from being used in such kind of activities.
Yes if bitcoin is used in any illegal activity that not the fault of bitcoin that totally depend on the user an before bitcoin corruption will be done through the cash so ban it also and now all the governments are also thinking to perform check and balance in transaction so that no one can use it in illegal way and bitcoin organization must have ti remove its anonymity so that serious crimes are avoided through it.
I agree with this, with the existence of the bitcoin, this will simplify the corruption is going to do. Because in this system it is extremely difficult to track even by programmers though. a person will not easily get evidence that could incriminate the corrupt. While the bitcoin himself mentioned that it is a virtual currency that is anonymous then there will be people who know and can be used without risk of it.
Yes definitely bitcoin can lead to corruption.Since it is not under the control of any government or central bank,it cannot be traced down.People can transfer all their black money from one place to another just in seconds.Criminals can also use bitcoin for receiving their payments for their illfull deeds.Bitcoin wallet is used for this purpose.Only the giver and receiver know about it and money can be transferred only in seconds.Therr can also be smuggling of bitcoins too as the price of bitcoin is increasing day by day.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: November 07, 2017, 02:52:51 PM
Probably not: It’s just too volatile. The virtual currency is known for wild fluctuations in price. Since then, prices have more or less inched up, and at the turn of the year, they started to approach record highs. Those sudden ups and downs would be bad news for your over all investment portfolio. If you do choose to take the plunge and buy a bitcoin, make sure it’s a very small part of your diversified portfolio and that you can afford to lose your investment. At the end of the day, I would never recommend this on a stand-alone basis.
Everything is possible in this world.Eight years back no one knew about bitcoin. Now you can see that it is the leading cryptocurrency today. It has almost reached $8000 in today's date. But recently bitcoin had seen a downfall in its value. In the last eight years bitcoin has seen many downfalls. Its value is very volatile.Since it is not controlled by any bank, there are many fluctuations.Whatever may happen, its value will not loose. It can fall but can aslo recovers in a short period of time.
