I'm trying to mine using a ATi Raderon 5830 but i'm getting no shares.
I tried the first two pool on the first page and my command line is:
Code:
\bfgminer.exe -S opencl:auto -o stratum+tcp://dem.miners-point.com:3338 -u user.worker -p pass -I 15

Guys, I notice you that I have paid my 10 reserved shares directly to anykeywhy because I could't pay due to a business trip (I'm going to leave my place tomorrow and I'm going to return on the 11th of December).

Thanks to anykeywhy  Smiley

Hi, I'd like to buy a share but I have 2 questions:
1-do you accepte bank transfer?
2-can I have a screenshot of the order sheet?

Thanks in advance

mi sfugge ancora qualcosa di questi paper wallet:
tramite bitaddress creo un indirizzo ed una relativa chiave privata tutto offline, la chiave privata descrive univocamente quell'indirizzo?

No: descrive tutti gli indirizzi associati a quella chiave

Quote

157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Consolidated Litecoin Mining Guide for 5xxx, 6xxx, and 7xxx GPUs on: April 12, 2013, 08:58:56 AM
Thanks a lot!
Now i'm getting around 600kh/s with:
Code:
cgminer -o stratum+tcp://coinotron.com:3334 --api-listen --api-network --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 7168 --worksize 256 -g 1 --shaders 1600 -I 18 --thread-concurrency 7168 --gpu-reorder --auto-fan   --scrypt

But if I overclock to 900/1250, I will get always 600kh/s  Huh

Unless you have two cards, remove one
Code:
--thread-concurrency 7168
I noticed you have it placed in there twice.

As for the overclocking and same hashrate, probably have to wait for someone with a 7970 to explain the reasoning. I think people were having problems with 7k series cards not doing what they should be doing or something, I think this is why people buy the 7950's for litecoin mining.

Ok, I have 2x5870 Smiley

@crazyrider.

Try adding the following

Code:
--worksize 256 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 7200 -g 1

Or try 5760 for thread concurrency. Not sure what 5870 uses. But my 5850's are on steroids with 5760.

Edit:
From the litecoin hardware comparison.
https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin/wiki/Mining-hardware-comparison#wiki-ATI_AMD_GPUs

Code:
--scrypt -o --shaders 1600 --worksize 256 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 7168

Thanks a lot!

Thanks!
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Consolidated Litecoin Mining Guide for 5xxx, 6xxx, and 7xxx GPUs on: April 09, 2013, 01:44:43 PM
does it show the GPUs in the list once it starts running?

it should show all the possible mining targets that it is setup for, so if you had 2 gpus it should show those on the list (in my experience anyway).

I had an issue where I had to rerun the aticonfig command once I added more GPUs or it would not recognize them.  Mine does not allow me to mine on the CPU however, so I don't know any more than that currently

if i write: cgminer -n, i get:
[2013-04-07 15:14:09] CL Platform 0 vendor: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
[2013-04-07 15:14:09] CL Platform 0 name: AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing
 [2013-04-07 15:14:09] CL Platform 0 version: OpenCL 1.1 AMD-APP-SDK-v2.4 (595.10)
 [2013-04-07 15:14:09] Platform 0 devices: 2
 [2013-04-07 15:14:09]    0   Cypress
 [2013-04-07 15:14:09]    1   Cypress
 [2013-04-07 15:14:09] 2 GPU devices max detected

I think that the gpus are correctly configured.
I will try to update the driver.

I think i had to reinstall the driver after I booted the system with all cards plugged in.  The driver would not auto activate all cards.  So if you install the drivers with 1 card plugged in, then restart and plug all of them in, I had trouble getting it to show them all.  Then i reinstalled the drivers while the system had all cards plugged in and it worked after I re-ran:

sudo aticonfig --adapter=all -f --initiall

Thanks, but If I want to mine BTC everything works fine, I have a doubt....I set the memory GPU clock to 300mhz, but I've seen that a lot of users set an high memory speed (around 1200 for a 5870), my question is: do the LTC mining use also the GPU memory?
