141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MINING with both GPU and the CPU on the same PC. DUAL MINING!!! on: September 27, 2019, 03:31:24 PM
Really hiqh quality posts are coming and it is great.
I personally think dual mining from cpu and gpu will be the future of mining. More pysical ram, more virtual memory from SSDs and higher core CPUs can make it more stable and may squeeze more hash but it all needs testing.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MINING with both GPU and the CPU on the same PC. DUAL MINING!!! on: September 27, 2019, 02:58:27 PM
CPU mining on a dedicated GPU rig (more GPUs than CPU cores) is not advised.
Although GPU mining hardly uses any CPU you still want the CPU to be responsive
whenever it's needed.

Whatever, test it and see how much CPU mining affects GPU mining  performance.
Different algos mined on the CPU will have a different impact on GPU performance.

I mine with every cpu in my gpu rigs (6 - 13 GPU rigs). No impact on GPU mining speed. Some rigs has a celeron g3900 or g1840 in it and i mine on all cores with no impact.

Another rig has 1 GPU instance, 1 CPU instance and 5 HDD miner running, no impact  Wink
Please give me your step by step settings. This sounds really interesting Smiley

With the release of Randomx Algo the CPU mining will be worth it again and lots of coins will use Randomx.
I wonder if it will be possible to mine anohter profitable coin with GPUS and Randomx with our CPU on the same PC.

Yes it is possible, by running two different instances ( CPU mining and GPU mining)

However, profitability is the issue, depending on your current Electricity cost if its worth it.

What will be the windows settings?

specify or allocate resources for your windows system on CPU in order to not freeze

How to specify or allocate resoruces? Will it be inside windows settings if yes then how?
or will it be from the CPU miner settings?

Most mining app has a capability to specify how much/many cpu cores to be used

if not, then this link can help

Thanks for the help i really appreciate it...

Please share your thoughts as this will be very interesting for the miners for extra income because every CPU and the PC already runs when mining with GPUS so with a little more electric cost it will be extra profit from CPUS hopefully...
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [PoW] [RandomX] DERO will implement RandomX! on: September 27, 2019, 09:33:02 AM
Hey every crypto miners!
Look at the latest monthly update of DERO: https://medium.com/deroproject/dero-monthly-update-baecb6099cbb

They are talking about the implementation of RandomX for DERO in less than 30 days! Be ready to mine guys! DERO will be in the top 100 in future because:

- They have a foundation established in the Netherlands
- DERO have implemented the bulletproof technology with different optimization making it 3x faster than monero bulletproof (in execution time)
- first to have a blockDAG combined PoW
- 75 TPS on mainnet which makes DERO the fastest anonymous unique blockchain
- A fully rewrite of cryptonote protocol with major improvements
- Custom code base from scratch in golang
- Immunised to double spending
- unique client protocol (the protocol client filters the transactions for not allowing double expenses)
- Omnirings implementation will come with RandomX !
- DERO exist since end of 2017.

So every crypto miners, be ready to mine DERO which will be a game changer!

PS: Hoping someone will made a gpu miner for RandomX although I know that the algorithm is CPU optimized and that seen the stats on the repo of tevador, GPUs are far behind!
GPU miners are coming and also Luxcore is preparing their own flavor of Randomx which will have equal hash for both CPU and GPU. The name will be RX2...

If VPS CPU mining will be available then there will be so many unused resources from a lot of masternode projects will have a good use too...
If the mn projects will pay for their VPS cost and even profit then it will be great.

Will there be an improvement on the X25X algo?
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 27, 2019, 09:24:39 AM
T-Rex has the algo optimised maximum that is why no private miners or no new faster miners for ....

T-Rex is slow and not profitable. Bether to mine Beamv2 or Grin.
What about people with 1050tis, 1060 3gbs actually nvidia cards less than 8gbs. What should we mine, which algo and which miner?

Stupid pump and dumpers always ask when the price is going down like why the price is going down.
it is my turn to ask now why the price of SIN isn't going down when BTC price went down 15%  Grin
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BEST ALGO and COINS to mine for NVIDIA GPUS under 6gb without the ASIC and FPGAS on: September 26, 2019, 11:39:07 AM
Looks like X25X is the one and only GPU only algorithm that doesn't have FPGAS and ASICS built for it.
I have couple of 1050tis and 1060 3gb cards around to use and X25X is the only choice for now.
Share your information if any new GPU only algo appears around!
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 24, 2019, 08:06:44 PM
X25X algo is the one and only GPU only algo not for all Nvidia GPUS but also for cards that have 6gb or less because it doesn't require memory hard operations.
For all the Nvidia cards from 1050ti 2 gb up to 1080 ti can all be mined without the fear of ASICS and FPGAS around.
T-Rex has the algo optimised maximum that is why no private miners or no new faster miners for X25X.
Today is the good information day lol

I don't know if any of you knew but X25X is the one and only GPU only algo not for all Nvidia GPUS but also for cards that have 6gb or less because it doesn't require memory hard operations.

If you don't produce a source it usually means you're starting the rumour.

iBeLink in California is the ASIC provider. Is the source good enough Wink
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BEST ALGO and COINS to mine for NVIDIA GPUS under 6gb without the ASIC and FPGAS on: September 24, 2019, 07:23:46 PM
Can you post any source to x16rv2 Asics? Smiley
I only heard of FPGAs; if the statement below is true, only the ASICs will get booted by the Oct1 fork.
There's no news of any ASICs for x16rv2 Algo, OP's source must be FUD.

Tron (Tron Black) has always seemed to hold the position that FPGAs are not a threat to the Ravencoin network, and made the decision to support their presence on the network.
Just found out that iBeLink in California is the ASIC provider Wink
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 24, 2019, 07:07:09 PM
maybe this place has the info. There are rumors about x16rv2 has already ASICS.
Any feedback?

Keep hearing ASICS for x16rv2 are already ready. Anybody can give information about this?
Thanks
