141  Economy / Exchanges / HELP / suggestion needed on: January 23, 2016, 07:23:23 PM
Hello,

i have founds on cryptsy and i want to prepare for the if they release them for withdraw (if not doesnt matter, i just want to be prepared IF).

So i thought i donwload the official IFC client, but i tried now for 4 fkin days to sync.
The Problem is i get to 70,%% then the dumb Client doesnt progress and if i restart the Programm it strarts fro m20% again!
Tried 3x times.

For me this whole Cryptocoin thing how it is now (increasing Blockchain) is not Mainstream compatible.
Think of a standart noob user who has very limited IT knowledge, "installing a Software for 108 Hours + fail at the end" wont
leave a positive impression. Since the majority of coins works like this, its just a fail.

So i cant secure the coins offline. Any ideas?
Is the only Soloution another Exchange, exposing myself again to be Goxed like on Cryptsy?

greetings

I'm just wondering what they will do with some dead coins what they still traded but there are no nodes, no miners, no network in the outside world Smiley?

the court had to start nodes + fix the source codes. They will do it to serve justice like they always do Grin
144  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptsy Hacker identity incoming - pending bounty on: January 20, 2016, 04:04:02 PM
but a court payout would be in USD, right?

i prefer my coins i paid for not USD. The loss/values should spread in coins to avoid more loss than needed.

any updates?
i think this coin should stay alive.
I think the main reason why china is active here is IFC is the biggest "LTC" market if i am correct.

well i didn't know they work from home, i just brainstormed my ideas. Do you have any ideas how to contact him?

149  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptsy Hacker identity incoming - pending bounty on: January 20, 2016, 10:57:19 AM
Hello I have offered to give big Vern the identity of the person that committed the theft against cryptsy and help them be put to justice but he is not responding to me. I offered my services and to divulge this information for a bounty of %30 of the stolen funds I also said I am willing to negotiate a bit to make things easier.

Here is my twitter were I have tweeted at Big Vern multiple times https://twitter.com/cryptcracker1/with_replies

I am asking for a contract to ensure I am paid the bounty, if anyone is able to reach Big Vern please tell him to get in contact with me asap.

did you try to open a support ticket? its a minor chance but if you really have the ability to get the bounty, then you should not give up to contact him, try the post way to, write to his office.

greetings

Who would be a good person to take over and run cryptsy? Please don't tell me Mark Zuckerburg.

Why not, he would be able to "Sugarcoat" the missingfunds Grin

Zucker= Sugar (german word)
Berg = hill
151  Economy / Exchanges / Re: is Cryptsy about to fold over??? on: January 18, 2016, 06:21:29 PM
They are giving 1000BTC bounty but seems that the 13,000 BTC are gone forever, which exchange is next(bter?)

I'd say the individual(s) who "took" the btc will wait until they think that people are no longer watching and then mix them and then run off.

My guess?  Craptsy employee(s).

If they mix now, we cannot still not find him. So why should he wait for long time. Poeple will watch the address all the time.

"he" can escape with the founds if he goes to a underground plastic surgery clinic somehwere in mexico to perform a gender transformation Grin
152  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Who would be the best person to take over Cryptsy and run it as the new boss? on: January 17, 2016, 07:55:03 PM
Any of the big exchanges that are around for some years and still are running.

Like the owner of Bitstamp or Huobi, even btc-e'owner, whoever he is

yes +1
153  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How Cryptsy can save itself on: January 17, 2016, 07:53:51 PM
Step 1: "Phantom BTC" credits
Create a new, fake currency called "Phantom BTC", which cannot be deposited nor withdrawn.  Credit all users with Phantom BTC equivalent to their current outstanding BTC holdings and set BTC holdings to 0.  Future BTC deposits will be credited as BTC.

Step 2: BTC to Phantom BTC exchange
Create a new trading pair between BTC and Phantom BTC.  Collect a Phantom BTC commission on every trade.  This means that on every trade the amount of Phantom BTC in existence will decrease.

Step 3: Phantom BTC buyback
Use profits from other trading pairs to buy back Phantom BTC, further accelerating the rate at which it disappears.  If the stolen funds are recovered, all of the Phantom BTC can immediately be bought back.  Eventually there will be no more Phantom BTC and Cryptsy can close that trading pair.

Having a BTC to Phantom BTC exchange will allow pessimistic bagholders to withdraw their BTC at a loss, while allowing opportunistic traders to essentially buy Cryptsy's debt, with the possibility of significant returns when Cryptsy finally gets everything back on track.  Patient/optimistic bagholders can simply wait until a favorable exchange rate or until the buyback.

great ideas. i would prefer a soft loss (% butremain the original coins)
over a process by a judge, since they have no technical clue.

i think there should be an "official" vote only for people who have funds on the dge there, since cryptsy haters and fanboys might distorrd the public picture.

154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: January 15, 2016, 12:18:56 PM
the backdoor in this coin was public, so here are the options:

1: Craptsy is unable to maintain their coins.
2: Craptsy is cant handle security at all.
3: Craptsy is blaming someone else to hide the real facts.

my speculation based on what i saw from craptsy:
True: 1,2
Very likely: 3

4: the divorce is the cause , a greedy bitch wants 50% or more of cryptsy...

for the ANC dude with the evidence was this your video?

Did anyone take into consideration that allegedly vern is in a divorce proceedings?
Had link but they changed it.

you mean he stole the money because of court debts from divorce ?? xD wtf
No a possible legal battle over the cold wallet. I think the court would freeze it until ?

When you have money - you have girls - when the money 's gone - the girls are too... Always the same, all around the world...

IMHO you know the wrong type of girls

not the wrong type, the common type!
I know the only way to avoid this divorce theft from a women, is to not marry a women under your own wealth status!
That is the only Soloution to not get divorce robbed. If you own a business, date only women with similar value assets!

damn the truth came out quickly, the damn b**** thinks she can grab our funds? i mean its client money not verns money , stupid greedy wh**** , i am really pissed ~2,5K* on the edge.

here i found this on youtube:

157  Economy / Exchanges / Re: cryptsy hacked - bigvern on cryptsy blog on: January 15, 2016, 06:11:48 AM
is there any way to contact bigvern / where is the official discussion thread?

he asked for ideas.

I mean if the liability of 3000BTC (like he wrote) was cur away in 1,5 years, the rest of 10000BTc could be too.
My 4th option is, to run the site to gain profits. this would take nearly 3-4years by the actual BTC price,
IF BTC rises the time could be shorten to 0,5-1 year (1000 or more usd per BTC)

I am not interested in another bankcruptsy like mt.gox becuase this will fire up a big party in the mainstream media against Cryptocurrencies which will damage the reputation for several years from now on! (mainstrem lives from bad news)
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Sad news from Cryptsy on: January 15, 2016, 05:44:24 AM
i can see why they waited 1,5 years , to avoid a complete crash.
They decreased the liabilities from 13000 to 10000 BTC which is a good thing which justifies this action.
If they did just shut down 3000 BTC more funds where missing.

And for the hackers i watched the scene (10 years) long enough to make a judgement for myself.
The old categories black/white/grey-hat script kiddies is just a point of view, since you never now for sure until the police get them in jail.
I am just sick of this BS, but thanks for your comment.

greetings
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Sad news from Cryptsy on: January 15, 2016, 05:20:56 AM
i began to hate hackers more and more i grew older, think like they are hacker pigs Sad

http://blog.cryptsy.com/

there is a slight chance of a soloution but in general if cryptsy claims bankcruptsy this will be the next big bad news for cryptocurrencies.
I for my self as longterm investor lost my faith in the crypto project. The security measurements cryptsy had taken seems not enought.
So for an average, the task of securing cryptos values is like black magic.

"Well" done hacker pigs, another nail into the coffin of the cryptocurrencies.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: December 31, 2015, 11:37:50 PM
wow i didnt know that, if you have proofs its perfect, spread them on youtube and link them in each coin thread it belongs too.

i had my most coins in offline wallte, but offcourse its always bad when you loose also a part of your coin.

I thought cryptsy works as a company, and not like Mt.Gox.

Thats the reason i switched to fiat money trading (Forex), because there are better companies and laws.
Some good and regulated companies also offer insurances. Offcourse there are crap companies in Forex too, in in comparsion to the crypto trading world the majority is more serious.
