141  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting-Vod be prevented deleting posts Self Modded thread/Removed from DT on: September 17, 2015, 05:38:23 AM
QS just tacitly admitted he has high level acts on DT(again), meanwhile TC removed Vod from his trust list while this feud was going on.

Does anybody find this odd?

Smoke and mirrors. There's so much obfuscation that it's near impossible to tell what's going on. TC is free to manage their trust list as they see fit. Though I would suggest they also have a look at the trust settings on their Tomatocage1 account, which still has both Vod and QuickSeller. It would be weird if a person trusts differently based on whatever alt they're using. But I'm sure this is just a small oversight, since the Tomatocage1 account was only used when they were locked out of their main account.

... Don't you think it was probably a bad idea to release what you think was the personal information of someone who has made a lot of enemies from preventing scammers from being able to steal from others? ...

Vod is "someone who has made a lot of enemies from preventing scammers from being able to steal from others". They don't seem to mind their personal information being available all that much. I think I can guess their answer to this question based on that.

Also, did you actually file a lawsuit against Vod?

QS just tacitly admitted he has high level acts on DT(again), meanwhile TC removed Vod from his trust list while this feud was going on.

Does anybody find this odd?
Why would any of this be odd? Do you think it was appropriate for Vod to be pushing someone to be publishing the dox of someone who has stolen zero money? I would doubt that anyone here would want to get doxed in a way that vod was encouraging shadow_runner to attempt to dox me.....
It is odd that such happens without some context. I had expected TC to make at least some kind of statement on their decision. But as I said above they can manage their trust list how they see fit.

You did take money for a service you didn't provide. Stop saying you did nothing wrong. I would count that as stealing. And the amount was not zero. So Vod did not push "someone to be publishing the dox of someone who has stolen zero money?". Two can play word games.
142  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Proof that Quickseller is BiPolarBob/PistolPete AND intended to SCAM! on: September 17, 2015, 01:49:08 AM
This is the time of day Quickscammer drives home.  It's a 50 minute drive from his job to where he lives.

You'll notice none of his alts post during this time.   Undecided

Or just close the thread because nothing is happening in it  Roll Eyes

Can we now atleast agree that BPB is not one of his alts ? The guy was dragged into this mess w/o a single valid reason and accused
to be his alt just because he wants this forum to stop looking like a war zone.  Just my 2 cents ..

cheers
Hey, don't make those kinds of suggestions! No one is allowed to make any kind of sensible statements/suggestions in any QS threads! I reported your post

Look at the post time. You're right on schedule QuickSeller....

Maybe next time you should leave a bit early or stay late.
143  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Definitive proof the owner of pbmining is a scammer on: September 16, 2015, 09:33:26 AM
Digging up this old thread.

http://pbmining.com/ is "under reconstruction" now. It was still working last week.

144  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting-Vod be prevented deleting posts Self Modded thread/Removed from DT on: September 16, 2015, 05:37:22 AM
you kinda brought it on yourself with the whole
'we should listen to what pedophiles have to say" angle.
My point was that doing this will potentially stop others from falling victim to rape, which I do not think is a bad outcome.

I am a person who cares most about results, so if that means showing a small amount of respect to what I believe to be horrible people, if that results in potentially less victims of a very heinous crime then so be it.

The fact is that Vod is clearly demonstrating that he is unwilling to even listen to the viewpoints of others, and will continue to negatively affect others once he has made up his mind. This kind of behavior will only result in people leaving the community, and deciding not to do business within the community when they may or may not be actual scammers. This is certainly not something that is good for the community, nor is something that is good for bitcoin

... is my personal viewpoint ... going to change after engaging in a discussion on the matter? I can say that the chances of this changing are as close to zero as they get.

Hypocrite. "Hey, Vod will not listen to my 'arguments'1" and yet you engage in discussions with preset views that you will not change.

1 Vod, and many others for that matter, have read your arguments and found them unconvincing. Rehashing the same failed arguments won't help.

Bitcoin is the only payment option for the upcoming few days. Mine got recently limited due to an unknown reason.

Probably because you are a theif.

I don't know why you are saying this? Did I stole something? At least, not that I know off. I just contacted PayPal, the reason for it being limited is because of the big amount of funds in such a low amount of time.

The reason it's limited is because Paypal thinks you're up to no good. Let us know when/if you've convinced them that you're "legit".

Hey man,

It's been a long time. You haven't spammed my thread in a long time Wink. Anyways, no, I asked them and the only reason was me not sending the correct documents due to a large amount of funds. I'll have it unlimited once I sent the documents.

Yeah, PayPal is a nightmare for people running a "personal" "business". They won't tell you what heuristic triggered them to take action. But you've caught their attention and they're going to cover themselves against any liability that your actions may or may not cause. Good luck getting your account straightened out, but I'd seriously look for alternatives if I were you. Go and read up on how friendly PayPal can be.

Still arguing about this? Keep digging deeper. Shocked

Someone wiser than me implied a few months ago that QS was running a long con..... I suspect he was caught before pulling it off.

Everyone knows he has alternate accounts selling them.

is this true quickseller?

Good luck trying to get straight answers out of someone as cunning and deceptive as QuickSeller. They only choose to answer when they can twist their words.
147  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting-Vod be prevented deleting posts Self Modded thread/Removed from DT on: September 15, 2015, 05:41:49 AM

Nahh dude.. The buyer or seller, whoever it was who paid the escrow fee got what they paid for.. They paid to have an account, not a person, hold money for them during a business deal.
Who was behind the account has no bearing on the situation at hand because the payer got what he paid for which was an account to hold said funds.

1) They paid for an escrow service. That means an impartial third party providing a service. They did not get it.
2) An account cannot act. Only the entity behind the account can act. Expecting an account to hold money is similar to expecting a rock to run.

Bob, do you feel it's alright to make someone believe you're rendering a service, charge them for it but not (by definition being able to) render said service?
148  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting-Vod be prevented deleting posts Self Modded thread/Removed from DT on: September 15, 2015, 05:17:19 AM
What Bob is pretty much right about is that we have little recourse against an anonymous entity. What Bob is wrong about is that that somehow excuses whatever that anonymous entity did.

And I love the logic, "The victim thought it was a third party at the time so nothing wrong happened."

"The users of Mt. Gox thought it was a great exchange, so nothing wrong happened."

Quickseller is too young to do anything but get robbed by a lawyer over in the US

explains a lot.

I also imagine the fake 20 BTC legal fund falls under the QS philosophy of justified dishonesty.

It's not fake if Quickseller moves 20 BTC from one exclusively controlled private key to another. Roll Eyes

That requires me being Quickseller, which obviously is not the case.

It would be fun if you could sign a message from the bitcoin addresses used.
151  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting-Vod be prevented deleting posts Self Modded thread/Removed from DT on: September 14, 2015, 03:20:38 AM
This is hilarious.

The funniest part of this whole saga is where the famous QuickSeller, investigator extraordinaire, is capable of digging up the details on just about everything. Yet they're unable to obtain the information on Vod - which is pretty much publicly available - to sue them.

Keep it up, QuickSeller. While it is already quite entertaining you're not close to the level of entertainment WoodCollector provided.

PS.
QuickSeller is a scammer.
152  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CoinWallet.eu Stress Test Cancelled + Bitcoin Giveaway on: September 11, 2015, 09:50:06 AM
There is merely a larger supply of transactions.

Yes, there's a considerable backlog of dust transactions with low fees. This is fine. They will be dealt with when there's less demand for block space. As said before, "normal" transactions are barely affected. Pay fees / having age helps "normal" transactions getting processed with more priority.

Is this a problem for Bitcoin? Maybe mildly... According to Blocktrail a BTC0.00016675 fee will get your transaction into the next block 80% of the time and a BTC0.00006429 fee will get you in the next 2 blocks 80% of the time. That is what... less than $.05 and $.02 respectively. I don't think that any party making a serious transaction would complain about those transaction costs. For me it would only become troublesome when transaction fees start to approach paypal / cc levels.

TL:DR; I don't see the problem.
153  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CoinWallet.eu Stress Test Cancelled + Bitcoin Giveaway on: September 11, 2015, 05:11:22 AM
But now F2Pool got in the game, they spoiled it :/

What happened?

They are clearing a lot of the dust, and including HUGE transaction fees. They probably have ready-made scripts for that.

It's what I would do if I ran a mining pool.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proposal to add Bitcoin symbol to Unicode on: September 11, 2015, 01:34:10 AM
Btw. you can currently write ฿ with Ctrl+Shift+u, then 0e3f followed by space in Linux and Alt+0E3F in Windows.

I have ฿ on my keyboard. Just have to change my local to Thai and press Shift+7. It's also printed on the keycap for extra convenience. (All keycaps have both international and Thai stickers)

How can i have it too, should i install any addition app? I would be really happy to have  ฿ on my keyboard

In Windows:
-> Control Panel -> Clock, Language, and Region -> Language
Click add a language. Add Thai.

Use language bar to switch to Thai input language, and voilą. Now you can type Thai letters easily.
155  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Quickseller escrowing for himself on: September 11, 2015, 01:27:13 AM
Seems like tspacepilot was hacked? There must be some serious conflict of interest between what he's doing and cetain people for such a thing to happen.

dooglus, any proof that the person that contacted you was the authentic tspacepilot?

doog removed the feedback  Huh

I'm pretty sure it was tsp who contacted me, and that his account is back under his control.

Don't use a 'secret question' on your account, people. And scammers, when trying to compromise accounts by guessing their secret answers, don't be stupid!

So am I to believe that some party attempted / succeeded to hack the tspacepilot account? That would tell me they're pissing of the right people. Just be careful, cause obviously you've become a target to at least one criminal.
156  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Quickseller escrowing for himself on: September 10, 2015, 08:40:26 AM
And I bet that if it was TSP that was caught self escrowing he would be deep in negative trust (quite possibly including one from QuickSeller) for that scammy behavior. He'd get hit harder than either QuickSeller or TomatoCage.

I don't think so considering that both TC and QS are of the opinion that self escrowing is not a scam. Unless they are hypocrites, though I have seen nothing to suggest they are.

Just a few posts ago...
...99.999% of the time setting up a fake "3rd" party escrow is clearly a scam.
157  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Quickseller escrowing for himself on: September 10, 2015, 08:31:46 AM
TC should come clean though. The evidence is clear cut they were the same person, and the overall community reaction is currently negative regarding self escrowing. (this is contrary to when I had faked my ban, as the overall reaction was either neutral, users were saying it was no big deal, or people were saying that you should assume this is the case).

I bet if it was TSP that was caught self escrowing then all of the shills would be claiming its completely fine to do that. There would likely be many threads full of posts from sock accounts attacking anyone who says otherwise and justifying his actions and this would continue for many months until he has convinced ll of the uninformed here.

And I bet that if it was TSP that was caught self escrowing he would be deep in negative trust (quite possibly including one from QuickSeller) for that scammy behavior. He'd get hit harder than either QuickSeller or TomatoCage.
158  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CoinWallet.eu Stress Test Cancelled + Bitcoin Giveaway on: September 10, 2015, 05:16:32 AM
So why wouldn't a mining pool operator create a script to scrape the keys from here and create a transaction that has the complete amount as transaction fee. Then there would be a near zero chance that any member here would get to transact some bitcoin to themselves since their transactions will have a lower fee. That would take away any motivation to even try and create transactions.

If someone (anyone) did that this spam attempt would die a quick death, wouldn't it?
159  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is escrowing for yourself using a secret alt OK? on: September 10, 2015, 02:02:12 AM
Becouse this is old accounts without any post or activity. Maybe someone create accout and forget about it? Why he should get red trust ?
I have problem with it, and it is abusing for me.

Do you really believe someone made 20+ accounts all on the same day, left me negative feedback on each one, did nothing else with the accounts, then just forgot about them?

Is that what you want us to think?

If you really believe this, start a new thread in scam accusations and call me out!  I'm not above the community!

Nothing to do with this poll.   Undecided

Please add me to that thread. I got negative feedback from those as well.

PS. Thanks Vod for marking those. Saved me the trouble of doing it myself...
160  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is this real? Is this legal in Thailand? on: September 10, 2015, 01:14:01 AM

It would take me over 2 hours to go to that location, and I probably still wouldn't be able to identify the building they operate from since it will likely be a normal residence instead of an actual brick and mortar store. I don't really feel like going out that far without at least having some confidence I would actually be able to find the place.

They seem to have a vast catalog. It can't be such a small place.

But just to confirm if they are real there are phone and fax numbers on the site.

The phone support in english might not be great but at least in thai they must be able to assure anyone.

I wouldn't mind giving them a call. From a payphone. Cheesy
