What are the reasons such jumps in the price?

Take from this what you want, but I am no longer supporting Keycoin.

First of all, KeyCoin's anonymous solution was not taken from Cryptcoin. I don't have any contact with the developer of that anonymous technology (I don't think anybody does). I am not associated with Halcyon either, and have neither seen their code nor spoken with the developer.

Like I have mentioned before, the next upgrade to our technology that the community will see will probably be KeyTrader. We have been debugging for cross-platform use and are very happy with the progress of our internal tests. We are not in a race to release technology, we would rather have useful and reliable products. Nevertheless, we are still working, regardless of price or rumors.

Thank you for your past support, and good luck with your future investments.

What are the features of KeyTrader?

I don't recall the complete features being listed officially, but there's a screenshot of it here in which you can see what it does somewhat:

...

KeyTrader version 2, a completely new program, is nearly completed and in beta testing. Here is a screenshot:

The developer working on KeyOS has had some hurdles to overcome and we now have two people working on the project, independently of each other, and sharing information. A linux expert was also hired to assist the process.

The investors are free to do whatever the hell they want. The fact is, KEY is alive and the development team is strong.

KeyTrader is gonna be killer, IMO.  I admit I looked at that password protected binary earlier when it was posted, and it's legit.  The anonymity is legit too, but still.  KeyTrader!!!!  v2!

you want to say KeyTrader be killer  Keycoin?

Keycoin is killer.  KeyTrader v 2.0 will be killer.  I'm not sure what you're asking (I'm drunk) but yes my main (oh look I just mined more keycoin) point was that keytrader will really set keycoin apart from the rest.

At this point I don't care what the Cloak team releases, I'm not buying back in.

 Sad

That last part (/info/refs) shouldn't be in the address.

anyone ever read a simple instruction on how to run a vericoin wallet on a raspberry pi?

my blackcoin raspi wallet is running flawlessly and i'm sure that the vericoin community can come up with an instruction too

thanks in advance!

Yeah, that would be great. Also looking for a Raspberry Pi Wallet. I tried to compile it for ARM some time ago, but wasnt successful Sad  A raspberry Pi wallet would be perfect for staking ....

There's certain flags you have to set when you compile it.  Can't remember off the top of my head but it had to do with sse extentions I think?  I'll check, hang on...

edit:  okay so I don't have the source on me but if you remove the "-msse2" from CXXFLAGS in buildfile.unix you should be good.

I don't see anything about RZRoad in start-post, is it canceled ?

This is the exact reason they do not post here anymore.
Shit, look up just 1 post and think for a second before ever posting again.

The same false promises like 2.5 months ago, so far we've seen nothing.
The only thing it did was cutting your BTC ballances.

They post nothing because there is obviously zero development.

That's interesting, I did not know that.  Definitely a good thing to have someone with experience in it to help with the development.

Did you happen to find the solution to your wallet problem yet?

I did not find a solution yet. I kind of gave up, at least for the time being. It's a bummer, I'm missing out on staking.  Sad

Personally, I think it's an issue with the wallet package and I say this because some time ago I had this issue with VOOT's wallet and MsCollec recompiled the wallet for me with a new permissions/execution flag and it launched thereafter. Kind of like what this guy is talking about here:

http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/81330/downloaded-apps-does-not-start-error-10658

I tried the chmod +x command like he suggests there, but it still didn't help so maybe there's more to it.

The mystery continues...

Sent you a PM.

Nice coin!  Grabbed a few.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | 8/22 Update: FUD, KeyTrader2, KeyOS. on: September 05, 2014, 01:24:24 AM
Thanks, dev, but I tried all that and none of it worked. I do think it is an issue with launch services though. I tried to run it from the terminal again and the error is this:

MacBook-Air:~ user$ open /Users/user/Desktop/Crypto\ Wallets/KeyCoin-Qt.app
LSOpenURLsWithRole() failed with error -10810 for the file /Users/user/Desktop/Crypto Wallets/KeyCoin-Qt.app.

I am in the midst of googling for this error to see if I can find a fix. Thanks for your help thus far. If you'd like to continue offering assistance, feel free to PM if you don't want to clog up the thread with this.

The process table could be filled up?

That seems like a permissions thing.

edit:  if you're willing to take the risk you can try running it as sudo to see if that works

I am not familiar enough with sudo to use it. Plus, I'm not sure it would help anyway. I have access to the root directory with my administrator account on my Mac. Thanks for the suggestions.

No problem.  I'm out of ideas though.

Have you tried launching it from the command line?

This is what it says at the terminal:

Last login: Thu Sep  4 18:13:59 on ttys000
MacBook-Air:~ user$ /Users/user/Desktop/Crypto\ Wallets/KeyCoin-Qt.app/Contents/MacOS/KeyCoin-Qt ; exit;
-bash: /Users/user/Desktop/Crypto Wallets/KeyCoin-Qt.app/Contents/MacOS/KeyCoin-Qt: Operation not permitted
logout

[Process completed]

That seems like a permissions thing.

Within the KeyCoin folder there's a file called "debug.log".  Maybe check that to see what the problem is.

There is no Keycoin folder because in order for there to be one I have to be able to launch the .app and that is where the problem lies.

Have you tried launching it from the command line?

Sorry you are having difficulties with anonymous transactions! Please check the guide posted at http://keycoincrypto.com/index.php/guides/61-sending-anonymous-transactions-using-the-keycoin-wallet-gui and let us know if there are further issues. This method was just tested successfully from a wallet with no funds currently tied to the address labeled "anon" but we are happy to help if you still have trouble.

A sample keycoin.conf file can also be found at http://keycoincrypto.com/index.php/guides/62-creating-and-saving-keycoin-conf-windows-os.

Thank you to the community for helping each other out!

Hey, dev, why might it be that I can't launch the wallet on my Mac? It's a bug I've had with several coins' clients, but not all of them. The icon goes through its animation like it's going to launch, but it never does. If you could help me figure this out so that I can stake my KEY, it'd be much appreciated.

Within the KeyCoin folder there's a file called "debug.log".  Maybe check that to see what the problem is.

so what exactly does this coin do? in two sentences please

It's a standard POS/POW hybrid coin that has all the same features as any of the top cryptos out right now, with a dev team that delivers features more consistently than any of them.  They're also developing a full trading platform around it.

Does there happen to be a Linux build (or source) for KeyTrader?

There will definitely be a Linux build of KeyTrader 2.0 which is currently in development.

Okay cool, thanks.
