141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What might occur on the next bear market on: May 01, 2022, 06:21:27 PM
I am buying Fantom anyways because I believe I can still make profits out of the project, layer 1 or not its not the end, top altcoins today can go down to under top 10 too we have seen that happend many times before.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Strange mining performance on: May 01, 2022, 05:29:28 PM
Maybe a different kind of ping. It could be ICMP ping, TCP reply, or pool reply.
You are right all along and thanks for making me know the difference, I never knew that pings are different anyways, also I built another rig week ago and I mine on both using two pools and the reward isn't that different from the other, only 0.22$ different.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Did I made a mistake purchasing 3070 Ti Nvidia gpu on: April 29, 2022, 05:39:41 PM
The RTX 3060, 3060Ti and 3070 are the most peaceful of the RTX series stay away from the rest unless you like modding and changing thermal pads, my advice is to buy thermal pad and replace them or do the thermal chip modding that's going around online as the perfect solution to high temp on 3070ti 3080s and 3090 right now.

I hope you already know about trading because your account is a newbie and you want to build a trading setup that costs a lot of money, are you a pro trader or a beginner? The trading set-up is for those who know how to trade very well, there is no point in having this desktop when you haven't understand every basics of trading.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good metaverse tokens. on: April 27, 2022, 04:11:46 PM

How about CyberTrade? I believe that this project will be noticed by many people in the future, they have good graphics in the game and a design that is a bit like Cyberpunk 2077, I even heard that they haven't had a token sale (public sale) yet and this is a good opportunity to get a lot of ROI opportunities. If you want to know more about this project, you can visit their Website or Telegram Group.
This project is crap, I did my own research and the team looks like they are wasting time on something that may never work out, the graphic sucks and the reason to be in that world and earn money while playing is just lame, Vulcan forged, illuvium and few others beats this project out of the water.
146  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I handle this? on: April 27, 2022, 03:52:14 PM
If you want to teach people about crypto make sure they are trying to know more about it, meaning they already have an interest in the technology but they lack the knowledge, don't go around teaching those who have zero interest in crypto you will regret really fast once something happens.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / About EOS on: April 26, 2022, 06:38:38 PM
Once upon a time EOS was one of the biggest projects in crypto space, it's all-time high was around 20$ per coin but so far this project have been on the ground, doing what actually? I am not saying it's over for EOS I believe that when a project stays on ground for a long time surprises will follow, what do you think about EOS? Are you a holder?.
148  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Using Linux Mint for crypto wallet on: April 26, 2022, 05:50:03 PM
I have a friend that use an old desktop PC for crypto wallets only and uses his laptop for browsing the internet and downloading things.

For someone who can afford two computers, this is certainly a good option, far better than the "one computer for all" option. However, at a time when hardware wallets are cheap and affordable, I don't see much point in using more than one computer - unless it's a computer that serves as a cold wallet.

Besides, do people still use torrents and download pirated software as much as they used to in the past?
Unless it's a computer from the 2010 era, this is actually a good idea, I have a desktop with core2duo CPU and 8gig ram in my room that does nothing but gathering dust, it makes sense to use such for storing crypto wallets as I already have a ryzen gaming PC for browsing and other things.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CUDA Errors on: April 25, 2022, 03:51:34 PM
Downgrade your Nvidia graphic driver or change your mining software, last time I saw such error was on Excavator miner and Trex miner erased it without even changing any driver or settings, its always a glitch in miner if the mining setup was working before.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Guys! Got some questions about crypto mining on: April 25, 2022, 03:32:14 PM
I am new to this forum, and would like to hear some opinions regarding Ethereum  mining and Nvidia GPU, specifically:

1. When do you guys think Ether will move to POS? Is it by the end of the year?

2. Are miners still buying RTX GPUs today? If so, are they only buying the 3090s with no LHR?

3. Also on LHR, I know there are several software that claim they can unblock it and get back 70% of its power. But realistically how true is this?

Thanks for all the colors!

1. Nobody knows when ETH will finally move to the PoS algorithm, this has been getting postponed for years now and I dont want to make a move base on whether it's going to happen or not.

2. RTX graphic cards are a hot cake for crypto mining so the answer is yes miners are still buying this graphic card for mining, either LHR or non LHR many don't care, they have dual mining to save the day on LHR GPUs.

3. So far so good, LHR have been unlocked to 78% right now and I believe that in time this will get better, my RTX 3070Ti was mining at 48MH when I first bought it, now its at 63MH, the LHR unlock have become a success so far.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH stuck on pool on: April 24, 2022, 06:48:53 PM
I mined for four days straight on Crazy pool but my ETH never comes to my wallet, I don't mine for 24/7 straight but just a few hours per day, I later found out they are using D-PPLNS method and this is where I am confused, if you know anything about this pool pls explain better.

I mined 24 hours crazypool without problem via the BSC network.

If you use the maintnet ETH you have to put the fees in % either 50Gwei or better 100Gwei see here for best Gwei https://etherscan.io/gastracker

I love it when someone cries scam but mine on pools with a dirty past!!! (eden network..)

Your statement isn't clear, are you trying to say that this crazy pool still works and you are still using it or you are part of the crazy pool team? I can remember perfectly when they block all their social media channels including Twitter and Telegram, the review about this pool is the worst one of all.
152  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Coinbase noncustododial wallet recommendable? on: April 24, 2022, 06:20:02 PM
Why use coinbase wallet when I cant even use its exchange, I dont like Coinbase and its services for different reasons, a friend in the USA was unable to sell some coins at ATH because coinbase won't just let him and after the coin dropped in value things start working again.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: High temp on mobo heat sinks on: April 21, 2022, 07:34:47 PM
years ago I got into btc because It made a little money enough for me to be able to build lots of rigs.

I basically was addict to build modding and upgrading pcs.

Much like a guy that would make hot rod cars.

Damn a lot has changed.

There were times I had 11gh out of 21th .

yeah my hash rate was 11 gh in gpus and the whole btc network was 22th.

that means I was mining 1/2000 of the worlds btc network in my garage.

not because i believed in btc
but because i was feeding my pc build addiction. 😀

I look back at it and smile 😃 at how naive I was.
Cheesy Any other philipma is a counterfeit, if one isn't addicted to what they love doing then its not addiction, you have my respect man, I am still 34 years old and I hope I can be as good as you are in crypto mining someday, every stories starts from somewhere.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Terrible Mining Mistakes on: April 21, 2022, 07:20:24 PM
not throwing defective parts right away...by not doing this, you will waste your time and effort in the near future LOL
Your point is kinda confusing to me, I won't advice people to get rid of parts because they can be useful in future if thats what you saying then im sorry, I was able to change hear sinks twice because I have them laying around, I was able to change a busted capacitor on my card because I have gpu spare part.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How was last crypto bear market on: April 20, 2022, 07:02:00 PM
This question is for those that are here when bear market of 2018 stormed the crypto space, how doesn't it feel like? All those staking for perceive income makes sense at all? Or returns went so bad and makes staking looks like a bad idea? How does it felt like.
Staking returns might be affected when looking at the USD value side but your tokens won't stop growing in numbers, this is where many are wrong about staking, if you are earning a thousand tokens from a staking platform it doesn't matter if its 100$ in value or 1000$ what should matter is your real token grows higher in quantities.
156  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some ways which you can lose your coin and how to prevent them. on: April 20, 2022, 06:58:20 PM
About Your number one point I think its better to adjust your Telegram account first before anything else, adjust the security settings so that you can't receive PMs from unknown person, this is the only way to say goodbye to scam PMs.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Most profitable coins. on: April 19, 2022, 09:46:18 AM
Next time try giving information of the graphic cards you have but I will give details on LHR cards that I own..

RTX 3080 LHR > AION Conflux and Super Sero are the most profitable. 3.60$ per day
RTX 3070Ti > AION Ravencoin and Conflux are the most profitable. 3$ per day
RTX 3080TI > AION and Ravencoin are the most profitable (4.02-4.19$) per day.

This is my gpu list:

2X GeForce GTX 1080
1X Radeon RX 6600 XT
2X GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
3X GeForce RTX 3070 Ti
2X Radeon RX 6800 XT
2X Radeon RX 6700 XT

Do you think i better dual mine, to overpass the LHR limit and maximize the profit?
Or the coins algos you adviced, are not affected by LHR constraint?
Which mining pools do you recommend me to use to mine the 3 cryptos you write?
I used to use T-rex miner and Teamredminer to manage my nvidia and amd gpus in a single flight sheet in HiveOs respectively, before.
Now i'm using Lolminer for all of my gpus and my hashrate is slightly higher, so i changed to single miner configuration.
Do you think i better use another miner?
Thanks alot!
Try to use lolminer you will get better hash rates out of those LHR graphic cards, I don't do dual mining with my RTX 3070ti because it makes the graphic card works in a more stressful way and I don't like it, with the latest lolminer update you can get 63MH off the 3070Ti, use the following

Core clock = 1150
Mem clock = 2550
Power Limit = 190PL
HiveOS
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto mining with latest risers and A2000 discussion on: April 19, 2022, 09:33:45 AM
Is not worth in my opinion. Efficiency ends up nearly the same, you loose warranty for you card, the card runs very hot @100% fan, and it use to much power for the riser on long term, you must pay for this mod - extend your payback time for months.
That's why RedPanda Mining said the thermal pads on A2000 need to be replaced with high grade ones like Artic or Gelid extreme thermal pad after the Mod is done, I've watched a few videos about this on Youtube and they are getting good temperature after the Mod.

Good temperature? around 85C on the GDDR6 and over 60C on the GPU is good for you at 100% fan? Not for me sorry. And thats why i said - not worth - to much work, extra costs and not really more efficient, and you loose your warranty for the card.

I thought 85°C on GDDR6 is good? Anyways I won't care about the modding too because this card can do 43MH out of the box without modding and the extra 7-10MH for more power consumption looks stupid, where im from once you buy a graphic card its your problem, the warranty covers nothing.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yield farming or staking? on: April 18, 2022, 06:12:08 PM
None of the above, I've seen how ugly staking coins that are volatile can get in a bear market, if you want to stake or farm altcoins its better to do it in a very bullish cycle, a month or three months you will get your rewards and move on but if bear market catches up you will see the ugly side of staking.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some projects are fated to doom? on: April 18, 2022, 06:02:42 PM
Its same thing I keep telling new investors, many altcoins are going to bring you huge profits but do not think that they will grow big like BTC and ETH, altcoins have more profits but when they are at a all-time high always take your profits and put the profits on ETH or BTC, many altcoins will fade away in time.
