Is there an OT discount? Tongue  You should post this in Marketplace->Goods broham.
142  Economy / Goods / [WTS Maybe?] Robotech/Macross Robots (Takatoku & Bandai) on: August 24, 2011, 05:43:02 PM
Would there be a market for these?  They're just sitting on my shelf collecting dust and I'm curious to know if anybody collects them.  These are original Takatoku Toys robots (which later gave way to Bandai, who made them for Hasbro, who released some of these under the Transformers line).  These are the real deal OG robots though.

VT-1 Super Ostrich 1/55th scale, Bandai

VE-1 Elint Seeker 1/55th scale, Bandai

1/144th scale Destroids, Takatoku Toys

1/55th scale Battroid Valkyrie "Miriya" type, Takatoku Toys

I dunno, make me an offer.

*groan*

We should have known it was a scam from the get go when it was advertised as an "Ixcoin fork".  I mean I'm not sure how much clearer it could have been.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I0coin - HOW MANY BLOCKS U GOT? on: August 17, 2011, 02:29:26 AM
That's fair game now, isn't it? Can't be complaining about it when you had the oppertunity as well (unlike IxCoin).

LOL
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I0coin - HOW MANY BLOCKS U GOT? on: August 17, 2011, 01:40:23 AM
So basically a few hundred thousand initial I0coins go to one guy.  Sounds familiar...
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 17, 2011, 01:04:53 AM
changed to 1008 to confirm now it seems
Still way too many... I understands what he is worried about but, if you can spend a found block in 120, why would he need more than that??? Wonder if he got burned on the ix exchange?

I had over 1000 I0Coins that were deleted from my wallet balance (which requires 120 confirms to even make it to your wallet).  So it is possible where even 120 confirms isn't enough.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No guys, seriously, who buy Ixcoins? on: August 17, 2011, 01:01:39 AM
Moreover, please read my question carefully: who buy Ixcoins?
For example, I am currently mining I0coins because it's really new, but I will never ever buy them

I thought I already answered this.  The answer is SPECULATORS.  FFS, LMGTFY.  Ixcoins are/were just a huge money grab when it launched.  EXACT same thing with your precious I0coins.  Oh, they'll try to candy coat it with client side tweaks like wallet encryption, address validation, and whatever, but in the end it's no different than Ixcoin:  One guy (ArtForz) ends up with with a shit ton of coins while everybody else gets sloppy seconds.  Standard pump and dump, just like Ixcoin.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IxCoin is a SCAM on: August 17, 2011, 12:37:02 AM
i0coin network start was a disaster.

1. 75 minutes late
2. Posts up dead link for windows zip
3. Once win exe is up he doesnt have the right dll files in the zip

Worst start to a network ever!

But hey at least that Art guy go to pre-mine several hundred thousand for himself.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No guys, seriously, who buy Ixcoins? on: August 17, 2011, 12:35:56 AM
Nothing more to add

Same people who will buy I0coins, and to a large extent the same people who already buy Bitcoins:  Speculators.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 16, 2011, 11:51:06 PM
I agree totally. Im not sure why everyone joined the damn pool then.

I'm guessing it's because people could set it on auto-pilot and mine on the test pool while they were at work and then have it automatically switch to the live pool when the switch was turned on.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 16, 2011, 11:47:59 PM
This new block chain has got to be the biggest POS ever.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 16, 2011, 09:11:11 PM
Make that 30+ previously generated blocks that have now turned invalid as per the message above.

Same.  I knew it was too good to be true Sad
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 16, 2011, 09:06:07 PM
  • Time zone conversion fail
  • No version tracking repo
  • Blob in zip ball
  • No base directory in source archive
  • Starting at difficulty 1(!!!)
  • Connects to single Freenode server
  • Offers nothing new over Bitcoin besides incompetence

Sayonara, Bitcoin, there's a new cryptocurrency in town!

With none of the infrastructure that Bitcoin has :-/
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 16, 2011, 08:56:10 PM
I can't find a block at ALL solo mining.  I guess I'll settle for the steady flow from i0pool.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 16, 2011, 08:42:23 PM
How do we get this thing set up for solo?  I tried 8332 and 8337 and Phoenix can't connect.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 16, 2011, 08:29:08 PM
What block # are we on now?
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 16, 2011, 08:26:55 PM
Holy reject rate!
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 16, 2011, 08:22:13 PM
So why can't my i0pool workers connect?
