Once the exes are uploaded, they're likely to be wallet stealers. Screw this, I'm going back to Ixcoin.

I still can't connect. Tried both io.btcguild.com and i0.btcguild.com
btcguild needs to compile the updated software and load it before they can start. So it's probably not going to work for at least a good half an hour depending on how fast the compiling server is and how long it takes to compile the bitcoin code. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOLZ!

how to connect to btcguild for i0coin? is it io.btcguild or i0.btcguild? Note that one is the letter o, the other is the number 0. I tried the letter o last few hours, and it connect just fine, but now it cannot connect. Then I tried to number 0, and it still won't connect. Any ideas?
You don't. It was all a big joke.

Hey guys, i just noticed that i made a "little" mistake on the GMT conversion, i tought that the launch time are in 15 min, not that i'm delayed 45 min lol, so at the end the launch time will be at 20:00 GMT (On 13 min from now), be prepared to the rush, i will be releasing the clients on 12 min from now! Again, i'm so sorry for this stupid delay D:
LOL yeah right! 10/10 though.

Back to Ixcoin I guess. Looks like we're seeing some strong buy support at .0036 again.

I dumped all my Ixcoin and can't wait to start mining on a LEGIT alternative block chain like I0coin!
Still about 2hrs til launch for me. How is that possible?
Yeah but it could flop too. If all the small miners like me get crushed in the stampede and end up with little more than a few orphan blocks and all the investors are still broke or feeling burned from the ixcoin fiasco there might not be much of a market for this. It will flop since it's just another pump & dump like Ixcoin was. The author even touts it as an Ixcoin fork. Now that doesn't mean I'm not going to mine it. I'm going to take advantage of it while it lasts before it dies out like Ixcoin.

I meant like available right now. It'll take a few minutes to get the client configured and running. I guess I could pool mine while I'm doing it though.

Hey, if you bought back in at .0003 and sold now you would have roughly tripled your earnings. Lacking a crystal ball though I got everything off the exchange already. I bought some at .0004XX by accident. I forgot I had an outstanding buy order from this weekend that went through lol. Should I turn around and make 5x my money now, or just sit on it? I think I'm just going to sit on it since it's only a few hundred. I'm getting ready for the next pump and dump: I0coin!

Is there a compiled executable available for download?
What's the current block count?
Good question. I seemed to get a lot of rejected submissions when I was mining Ixcoins and there wasn't that much hash power on the network at the time.

At some point IX will no longer be worth trading and then what use is there left for IX?
Sorry, this is patently wrong. See my previous reply in this thread. (Unless of course you're referring to Bitcoin itself collapsing)
That, and you can't mine on them worth beans.
Well, whatever the intended purpose of Ixcoin was, it's going to serve as an invaluable tool in the future as it lends another layer of obfuscation with the ability to quickly and easily exchange between BTC, NMC, and IXC... and soon a few other *Cs as well. If you missed the early adopter boat for IXC, no big deal. There will be others.

I think Thomas is unloading some of his Ixcoins for BTC. I am hard pressed to believe he would hang on to them for very long.
If he is, he isn't using ixchange.bitparking.com to do it. Most of the trades I'm seeing on there are under 100 Ixcoins and they're not exactly flying across my screen.
IXCoin is fine. You are just making free publicity...
The software is open-source and everyone can start a new blockchain... If you don't like the chain, don't use it...
This. I don't understand why this infinitely simple concept is so hard for some people to wrap their heads around.
All this bickering aside, is anyone actually mining IXCoin ?
I am.. it's still more profitable to mine Ixcoin than Bitcoin right now.
WHERE are all the people decrying alt chains as "scams" and proclaiming they won't participate in I0coin for whatever moral reasons? Or do we have to wait til we pass 10 difficulty levels before the johnny come latelys, who missed the early adopter boat, start whining?
