141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best app for exchanging crypto to fiat and back nowadays? on: July 25, 2018, 09:51:17 AM
I've no access to Coinbase, so I'm looking for a simple app that will help me to exchange my crypto funds to my card or bank account.

I believe we have so many people there so smb knows the solution and can share it. Thanks!

I think coinbase is not the only option here, you can choose from many other wallets present out there. However you need to know which wallets are functional fully in your country. For example, in my country we had unicorn and zebpay as the best wallets for exchanging the crypto to fiat and withdraw the balance to the local bank accounts. However, as the government declared the war against the crypto currencies this functionality has lost now. But im sure the country where you are, there has to be wallets helping you do the fiat exchanges like this.

why don't you use localbitcoin to exchange your crypto to fiat if you don't have any option to withdraw? I think you are safe to make a deal with the seller from localbitcoin. or maybe you can find for the local exchange that is available for your country because I am sure that if in your country is a concern with cryptocurrency, there will be a local exchange that will their people to withdraw their coins.

This is good option too.
142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be calm when the market falls on: July 23, 2018, 08:15:34 AM
Old stuff but always works. While entering the crypto space everyone should come with the learning that this market is subject heaviest risks anyone can sense in the real world. I mean crypto currencies are liable to fall all the time and those who are holding the assets carefully in such situation are the one who are stepping forward to grab their profits from that particular coin/trade. The patience is the victory here, many people fail at it and hence only few of them are there who are actually making real money out of the crypto currency. So yeah its true that everyone should follow this strategy to make something from here.
143  Economy / Economics / Re: Politicians fear cryptocurrency because it will stop corruption. on: July 23, 2018, 07:14:59 AM
The transparent nature of the cryptocurrency industry is one of the Paramount reasons why politicians are kicking hard from all angles against it.Well,I am glad that despite all these agialtations, the industry moves on .One day full potentials will be established. Share your views.

I believe politicians might be the one who use the crypto currency on major level. Though it is transparent then also its not fully transparent as you are saying it here, it is more or less pseudo-anonymous. Meaning you still have partial protection from the crypto currencies. You can never know the names of people in this industry. All you can know is XYZ address sent money to ABC address or CDF address is having 1000K bitcoin stored. etc etc. But this always keeps up the anonymity of the users and thus politicians may not get hampered with this.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are Losing it, which bitcoin is the real bitcoin? on: July 23, 2018, 05:16:30 AM
What do you mean by which is real bitcoin.  Tongue

The #1 ranked with multi billion market cap in the CMC is the real bitcoin.

Why make any more confusion if we know that it was the one who took birth in 2009 and started to grow over the blockchain !

The rest of them are shitcoins which got generated in the 2017-18 years. I see no confusion at all. If people are confused about such simple fact then why they are here.

147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How should i invest in altcoins on: July 18, 2018, 08:06:38 AM
There has recently been a lot of hype about altcoins and how they will grow in the future, how is investing in them optimum for good results. Altcoins like humaniq, LALA World, Wala are my main targets for the portfolio.

Basics: If you want to invest in any project then just study about it. Learn how much buzz does it has got in the market. Whether they have the active teams or not. For example, there are many project which I am working on and having telegram groups with admins active almost 24X7. I guess such projects can give us real insights and thus we can keep track of our progress as well. I guess this is how it will work and should work for you as well.
148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trading or Holding Cryptocurrency for long time on: July 16, 2018, 12:31:22 PM
Considering the present market situation, which one will be more benefiting whether Daily trading or holding cryptocurrency for long time? Please let me know.

Well with the current market situation it is surely going to be the second option, the long term holding. Who would want to go in a loss with the current situation after seeing how the market is fluctuating like wave in the Tsunami! Its disastrous man, even to think about it getting into swing trades. Im not sure how people keep posting about their success in the swing trades when the market is fluctuating too much crazy like the current one. Well blessing to them but im sure in such situation there are only two feasible things, one is to get more coins bought and second hold them tight.
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the disadvantages of cryptocurrency exchanges? on: July 13, 2018, 06:26:13 PM
Every day the popularity of cryptocurrencies is increasing. Millions of people – traders, politicians, financiers, analysts-follow the dynamics of their rates. However, nowadays, the use of digital assets is difficult. Even the purchase and exchange of cryptocurrencies are associated with problems - currency rates on different platforms are very different, and a solid commission is charged when withdrawing funds.

I am not sure whats bothering you but exchangers are just the way they are! I mean the fees, commission and stuff will always be there when you re having something free. I mean that is what they have as income source and on which they keep working. Currency rates are versatile because of the volatility of market and trading volume over each marketplace. But I dont think there is anymore difference from 1-2% on any two exchangers. I guess that is also a lot one.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Belgium has 8 Bitcoin ATM machines on: July 06, 2018, 04:32:29 PM
I recently found this website:

https://coinatmradar.com/

Apparently there are more than 3400 ATMs across the globe and it's growing at an exponential rate:

https://coinatmradar.com/charts/#growth

On this website you can easily find an ATM near you, I had an idea like this myself for a website but it seems someone was faster than me. There is ad space there, I would consider it if I wanted to promote something, the website it's pretty cool, good design, excellent ranking in google, SEO wise it's a good deal.

Oh come on man thats really cool to hear. This is the one side of the world an there is my country which is not even willing to accept the crypto currencies at all. They have recently banned all the crypto to fiat operations and vice versa. When I see countries offering such services (crypto ATM's) and things like that then it gives me full insight that how these countries are really forward thinker about everything. They will surely get genuine hands over the crypto currencies and will help its economy to grow to next level and my poor country will be poor one more time.
151  Economy / Exchanges / Re: yobit or hitbtc on: July 05, 2018, 04:45:44 AM
I am not sure from where you got the info that you can make something on these sites but they are the worst market place I have ever seen. I would literally choose a decentralised one if I was supposed to given three choices. Hitbtc and yobit are very very slowest sites I have ever experienced. There are may more choices with heavy security, 24 hours support and crazy trading volume to fill up your orders immediately. I am not sure about any of those, just check others available over the internet man.
152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think that the price is fully manipulated? on: July 01, 2018, 08:41:34 PM
To be honest, the price is not full name manipulated but it is the effect of fear of missing out after a little fluctuation in the price. As we all know that crypto industry is still in the basic phase of development, there is a lack of knowledge, awareness and mass maturity and hence big whales and institutional investors take the advantage of this situation. ]Thus the situation is influenced by certain elements but it is not under the control of those elements completely.

You misinterpreted the OP I guess. The FOMO, FUD are all different names of something that is coming out of the panic of people. However OP's right in terms of manipulation too. This I believe is the act of getting prices changed intentionally by selling or buying the large quantities of the tokens that are being manipulated.
If you really check the past graphs then its surely impossible to predict as to why there was sudden pump of the december month as going that high was merely impossible with natural hikes because you will surely need that many investors making investment. But it was surely act of whales and yes thats the best proof of price manipulations.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcurrency do you think has potential? on: July 01, 2018, 08:02:48 PM
Now before you reply read this carefully, Altcurrencies are being made almost every month, and right now there are over 300+ altcurrencies in the market right now, I did not made this topic because I'm going to endorse some altcurrency, I wrote this topic because I want you to give me and the people around the forum about your speculations about which cryptocurrency has potential, clearly there are tons of cryptos to choose on and I want you to take a closer look on every alt in the market, and if you do have chosen an alt that you'll want to share with us then feel free to reply on this thread, goodluck and may this information spread even more.

In reality there are around 1500 crypto currencies and +/- 100 are added and removed everyday by CMC depending upon their activity and inactivity.
Well, the potential coin is only the one with utility purposes. There are many coins like that and thus gives them real purpose of real world use too. I am seeing big potential in ETH (for smart contracts), REM (Private security token issuing), IOST (Internet services), NEO/KICK/EOS (Smart contracts) etc. They all are having same or different usage but they are the only one which will get utilised on higher sides and thus will be potential coin to grow in the market.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why this Transaction is pending over 6 hours on: July 01, 2018, 06:06:29 PM

That transaction is already confirmed mate.

But with whatever I am seeing there I have complete idea why it was pending for longer than usual.

The transaction had the Gwei paid at 23 but the recommended is 41 Gwei fees.

According to the calculation of gas station your transaction was supposed to get confirmed within 2 hours and with the scanner it can be seen that its confirmed with 1 hour 50 min ago. So everything is right.

If you want faster time then increase your Gwei that is Tx fess.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do when the market is weakening now on: July 01, 2018, 11:58:44 AM
the current crypto market is so weak, there is no increase in the price of crypto, even the price of crypto is getting down, what should we do when the market weaken at this time?

Its not really weak actually, its just that the prices were too excited by the month of December last year. After that to corrected itself (massively) and then when the prices were getting down then panic stuff gotten into the way. This worsen the situation even more and we are having the prices that we see today. In fact people and analyst do think that whatever is happening today is also a kind of correction and thus we should not be worried about it at all. This market is going to recover real soon all you have to do is keep your investment ready for the next bloom. Have faith buddy.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decision in panic! on: July 01, 2018, 10:24:20 AM
Have you ever take wrong decision when you were panic. share your experience

Yeah once in while everyone makes such kind of mistake  Grin and I have done it too. It was XRP which I sold in my ounce state. However I am not panicker now a days but back then I did the huge investment in the XRP and when XRP was login up all the way to 3.25 USD then I was pretty confident about this project and thought it will go even further than this so I kept holding everything. But as soon as the market reverted then I got panicked about it and sold everything when the XRP reached to prices of 1.2 USD.  Roll Eyes However just after that there was one more spike whci led to XRP hit the price of 2.5 USD around and then I realised I made huge mistake about it.
157  Economy / Economics / Re: Long-term or short-term, here are the results you need! on: July 01, 2018, 09:34:48 AM
Looks like developed countries are as always smart enough to know what they re doing. I mean they know very well the fact of holding and how it can benefit them in the long terms. This has also got to do something with the ICO founders being the locals one. I mean most of the ICO are getting developed in the developed countries like UK, Europe regions and almost all the rest developed countries. This does adds the effect of being one close to the national investment sort of thing.  Smiley I guess its always good to hold long term because there always needs time for anything to grow and proliferate.
158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Governments & Banks manipulate the price like this? on: July 01, 2018, 09:01:43 AM
I guess this topic can be best explained with an example that is going on right now. The event in the India where Reserve Bank of India stated that they will be abandoning the crypto to INR withdrawals and thus no more crypto currencies in India led to panic attack in India and all the exchanger suffered from this leading to the price manipulation all the way down to -2000 USD price change in a single day! I guess this is what happens whenever the government publishes something negative about the crypto's.
I guess same thing can reverse in case if the government involves with the crypto. I guess that is positive manipulation of bitcoin! What do you think!
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When the big selection occurs? on: July 01, 2018, 08:12:55 AM
Only 5 visitors have seen this interested topic? Guys you dont have any opinion about current market situation?

I dont really get the purpose of this topic but would love to discuss their competition. As far as I know these are not the only coins with same features but there are more. Like very much important is ETH. And part from this waves, kick etc. These additional three are also in effect and have got better UI as compared to what you have mentioned. Im not sure TRON is in the completion because its not really made for creating the smart contracts. Its just transaction agent with scale up issues solved already. But that is different case.
160  Economy / Economics / India might pull back the ban on crypto-fiat withdraws! on: June 30, 2018, 09:33:33 AM
The positive news is that India may not be shutting down the currencies. All India Mobile And Internet Association has already filed a petition against the Reserve Bank of India and thats why Supreme Court has filed a case and for which the results would be declared on July 2nd. Most of the people think that there will be amendment in the use of crypto currency rather than banning it completely and thus it has already become good news for the India market. Get ready for the boom that will be coming from this country. I guess thats the closet reason in the current situation for the current pump.

Anyone has insights about this?
