141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla Overtakes the Combined Crypto Market Cap - $380 billion market cap reached on: August 24, 2020, 08:26:00 PM
If you are asking why Tesla got this huge that's because of Elon Musk himself, the fact that Tesla has lesser sold cars by Toyota yet they are valuable than Toyota company explains that investors are going  in because of Elon Musk's perseverance towards his company, and many of us believe that the future cars will be battery powered and so the Tesla is the future that is starting to build. just 2 years ago, a share in Tesla costs for only around $400 and it continues soaring til 2020 and it costs more than $2000.

I agree... There is a reason why Tesla is coming up in top tier with Amazon in terms of stock market. Elon Musk has been so active and proliferative that even if the automobile industry doesn't pull through there will be alternatives. It shows what hard work can achieve, of course, once you already starting big, which to most of us is not even applicable. However, this is why crypto is such a leverage for all of us, if we invest smart we could get high stacks too!
142  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The best way to convert Bitcoin into real money on: August 24, 2020, 04:43:36 PM
Don't forget exchanges such as Binance which is offering P2P service where you can exchange it to your own fiat money. Just look at their list of fiat currencies available. Though they require KYC, but at least you know you are safe, the fact that they have 0 fees also.

https://c2c.binance.com/en
Out of the 4 exchanges listed above I can only approve Binance as I personally have found it good and never had any issues regarding account versification or frozen funds. Nothing of the sort.

As mentioned above you'll have to complete KYC but this is usually done in about 2 days and you know that at least you'll be using a platform that's as safe as possible  Cheesy
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Holders have an opportunity to earn interest due to cred partnership on: August 23, 2020, 10:59:51 PM
Don't promote another one of Roger Ver's scams.

People who will use this wallet and its interest earning feature are risking their coins in many ways - this system might get hacked, it might pull an exit scam, they might get mislead into buying bcash, or do incorrect transactions, they will forfeit their privacy and so on.

Roger Ver is one of the most untrustworthy people in crypto, right there together with CWS, and only stupid or clueless people would put their coins in his projects.

I agree the notorious Roger Ver is not to be trusted. The fact that he is at the centre of this already puts many people off including me as this just doesn't smell right. There are many exit strategies if this is a scam (probably is) many of which have been listed previously, and so then why even risk your money  Huh

If you want to earn interest on your BTC you can do so from many reputable exchange platforms. No need to risk when the reward is not even comparable!
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP got 30 new WHALES!!! on: August 23, 2020, 09:04:33 PM
XRP got 30 new whales who are holding over a million XRP on their wallet. The analysis says XRP is ready to go up. Read the article below to know more.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/xrp-is-up-30-and-has-30-new-whales/amp

What's your thoughts on it? Can we see Ripple over 1$ again? Or it will stay here?

I found it interesting that since the article has been published XRP has been on a red market. And in the last 7 days the 24 volume change was down by -4.5%

Given this, I think it will take more time for XRP to raise in value and it goes to show that even if 3 whales bought in, it is not enough to tip the market over, or at least for now! Though, I do think there's hope.
145  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Google Opens The Door To Mass Cryptocurrency Adoption on: August 23, 2020, 06:44:09 PM
Does that mean Google will start allowing Google Pay to also be used as a method to directly sell our fiat to buy crypto inside it? Will Google turn Google Pay into half-crypto or create a new wallet where we will be able to buy crypto without any intermediary fees because of its wallet being used directly?

These at the moment are probably early but good questions to ask. What I think is the highlight is that Google is now investing more time and resources into crypto and this is great for adoption.

Having such a big player on 'our side' will surely lead to many feeling the pressure leading to others joining the crypto sphere due to fear of losing out which in turn will help with building the infrastructure we need for lower fees, some regulations and faster transaction speeds.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New User - Problems Understanding Bitcoins Validity on: August 23, 2020, 04:13:38 PM
All your issues spin off from the fact that you used a crappy system to buy BTC. This has ended up in you disclosing personal information, lost a lot in insane fees and had to deal with the hassle.

All you did wrong was being too hurried in buying BTC and choosing the wrong platform. Instead, you need to first understand how this crypto world operates so that in the future you won't be mugged off like that again. One way you can have safe and anonymous transactions is by using p2p exchanges rather than banks. Or if you want to use banks just deposit onto known platforms first like Kraken and then send your money to elsewhere.

147  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiSquares.com 🟩🟦🟦🟦🟦⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ Try new chat game, win free bits! on: August 22, 2020, 10:55:27 PM
I think this is basically to keep people hook to the site and the chat this type of free bits are given so that there is some engagement also that keep happening in the chat and they can win as well. So only 1 player gets the bits or all those who answer the it corrects wins it. How does it work out and what is the minimum withdrawal from the site?

This game is so unique and fun to play.  It is definitely a game you can easily get hooked to. Does the team atm consider adding some contests or pool prizes or anything that is more financially appealing to the users to want to come back again and again i.e. free rounds or faucet?

148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some Influencers Are Not Helping on: August 22, 2020, 09:08:07 PM
I actually have to agree with you mate. Most of the Bitcoin and crypto influencers out there are just doing it for their own gain, and they don’t care much about the followers. They only wanted fame, increased views, monetization of their videos, etc.

Isn't it obvious! Mostly all influencers post or comment on something if there'll be gaining from it without worrying about the repercussions.  This is such an example, so long as they achieve their goal the rest matters little. This is why we should know better as we've seen this happening many times before.

However, the urgency of this matter is that like BTC other altcoins are great too and deserve their market value, true not all but we should be able to tell them apart from artificial and obvious pump 'n dump cycles.
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading crypto is a different ball game on: August 22, 2020, 07:31:51 PM
Shouldn't he have known better  Huh  It doesn't matter how much experience you've got when you're trading you can't be 100% sure that your actions will fall through.

In this case, his coin pumps haven't worked well and ended losing him money because he didn't account for the thousands of other users who might see and respond to the trends differently. Plus, 1 week is not enough time to know or predict the market.

150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will Grow? on: August 21, 2020, 09:25:06 PM
[/color]
The Question Is: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will grow? (based on what?)

I'd say that it depends on the investment plans short-/long-term as well as the stage at which the coins/tokens were acquired. For instance if buying them at a pre-sale then you can almost assume profit once it hits the market.

I can almost hear you ask, how do you know if it will hit the market and the answer to that is based on the scalability of the project, the team and marketing power.

If buying from the market like most people are then I look at the project and its purpose, its direct competitions to work out if it adds any original value to the market and also at the investors reactions then look at some line-charts. At least these are the basics anyway.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you lost money on Bitcoin you either bought in the red or you didn't hodl on: August 21, 2020, 05:32:04 PM
Digital currency is the future, full stop. The only finance in the future will be anything else but fiat. Fiat has let too many people down; too much corruption, too much injustice.

The green shift we witness today with BTC is spreading across the entire crypto sector which is fantastic news. Future generations will be far better off than we currently are as the potential of digital currency is huge, not only financially but technologically too which in turn leaves plenty of room for massive health improvements. I'm talking technology+human -> the newer, better version of humans - transhumanism!

152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is the price rise on Coinbase pro different to Binance on: August 20, 2020, 10:35:03 PM

Why is the same coin in the same currency showing 2 different price rise ?

I'm afraid what you are asking is a fundamental question about both crypto and exchanges. For a good read on getting you up to speed with the basics I recommend this article.

However, to answer your question directly; the price of coins differ between different exchange platforms because the price is influenced firstly by the volume allocated to that exchange and secondly the demand/supply of the buyers/sellers. In other words, prices are determined by the movement of the people.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in a good shape? on: August 20, 2020, 09:49:28 PM
2 years ago the btc price was about $6k+ and now we actually touched the $12k level already but still more than $11500. so what d'ya think this chart is saying to you?

I'm not sure if you've been in a coma or just lived in the wild for the past 2 years because it would have been impossible otherwise to not notice the significant growth there has been in BTC and cryptocurrency in general.

Dude, the latest biggest spike in 2018 went viral... Even today BTC is in a good position and everyone is kinda holding their breath to see the next market price barrier breach... In other words things are looking green
154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you trust a controlled ICO? XIAN COIN in particular... on: August 20, 2020, 04:57:06 PM

The Crypto Open Market makes a price bigger, and so the re-sellers of a certain coin as well, depending on many factors such as the volume etc. But then not releasing such ICO on the crypto market, how would it even increase it's price??

It is exactly as you say it is. This ICO is obviously not an ICO there is not public involved, in fact the only people involved are those who are on it from the beginning. There's no real reason for the token price to increase since as you say it there's no listing on any exchange so the only way an increase in token price comes about is from artificial inflation and manipulation.

The standards of an ICO don't change, and that's no matter what token or which continent you are releasing the token. Investors won't get into it without a whitepaper or any sort of document to show how the idea will make them money.

155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto startup is now funding people in Bitcoin for delayed flights. on: August 20, 2020, 07:41:00 AM

It's interesting how more startups are offering a Bitcoin payment method and it's likely that this will continue as it also gives a lot of startups good exposure to the community. With this becoming the norm, I can see Bitcoin payments being relatively entrenched as a payment method for future startups helping the crypto ecosystem in general.

It really is something that benefits everybody. In the sense that the company adopting it increases its own profile and crypto experiences more adoption or at least it will educate people about its existence.

I'm impressed to see how many more business as a way of promoting themselves by the media or just trying to keep up with the world around them is now adding some crypto related finance to its running.

I mean it is not that I complain for the reasons mentioned above, I'm rather ecstatic and I can't wait to see more and more crypto adoptions.
156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $10 000 to invest, but at which price to buy? on: August 19, 2020, 09:46:33 PM
If you would get $10 000 to invest into Cryptocoins, at which price you would be ready to buy?
The price you ready to buy depends on how the market looks then and up to then i.e. are there tendencies for price drops or not, how has the market behaved and what does it look like it may be like in the next few days.

Other factors to consider are the investment period long-/short-term? If the former then as long as you think the price goes up you should be fine entering at a reasonable price. The entry point becomes more relevant when going for short-term.

157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi coins have turn the market into confusion on: August 19, 2020, 07:14:39 PM
Defi is not useless, it is not irrelevant, it is definitely something that could be used, but people are overreacting to it and overspending on it.

That indeed sadly seems to be the response. To some the buzzword 'DeFi' is anonymous to money but of course that's not true because there are so many 'DeFi' projects coming through that by chance some if not most will be blatant scams.

The word of caution here is that just because its a DeFi project doesn't mean it will succeed or that it requires no research. This is the same hype as we first saw with crypto initially, so history sort of repeats itself but this time with DeFi.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine arrests gang who ran 20 crypto-exchanges and laundered money for ransomw on: August 19, 2020, 02:15:39 PM
I've read an article about this today. Ukrainian authorities cooperated with Binance and indeed arrested 3 people who have spent 42 million dollars on their operations over 2 years. The report says that the gang provided services to those wishing to launder money, so it's not necessarily about ransomware money. I also don't see the info about 20 exchanges in the report, but I did find another credible source that mentions the exchanges. Judging by the info about BTC-e exchange, I think the 20 exchanges mentioned are also like this. I mean that they are local, not your typical international crypto exchanges, nothing a typical crypto user would find familiar. To see local exchanges which Ukrainians use, you can go to Bestchange.com to get the general idea. I hope the illegal exchanges will soon be closed, and I'm proud of my country for this successful operation.

At least the e-exchanges are not the main stream ones. The fact that Binance played an active role against this type of fraudulence speaks for itself - Bianance will not tolerate such behaviour, and in fact no e-exchange should either.

It is interesting though that the law just managed to catch the gang given their dubious activities for nearly 2 years  Shocked
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VR online casino games take gambling to the new level 🚀 on: August 18, 2020, 08:29:19 PM
I personally think that it was about time when VR integrated with gambling! What I fear though is that VR itself is not yet at the level where we can confidently use it properly not for gambling not for gaming - it still has poor tracking, and the headset is quite heavy so can't keep it on for more than a few hours.

But indeed VR and gambling brings a whole new experience to casino lovers, with this every single aspect of gambling including the social aspect is ticked off the box.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 DeFi projects on: August 18, 2020, 06:48:27 PM
Yes, I know scam accusation on YAM and I don't know why the site still listed YAM in the list of top 10 Defi (all protocols). Is it a paid-position?

It doesn't seem to be a paid position. Instead it all seems to be due to fake volume, perhaps the source where this info is taken from is corrupt in that manner.
I must say though that I was surprised to see MakerDAO into the top 10, and even more so how JUST came just below this ranking.

These are perhaps interesting to keep an eye on in the future. DeFi is certainly one industry to be watching but its related projects as we just seen don't always deserve their ranking! Something to be mindful of.
