541  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance vs Coinbase Pro on: April 27, 2020, 11:18:11 AM
If I am not mistaken, Coinbase Pro offers an extremely low maker and taker for institutional traders.

Binance, on the other hand, also offers low fees for high volume traders, but not to the same degree as Coinbase Pro.

Overall, Coinbase Pro is expensive for low volume traders and Binance is less so, but the case is the opposite for high volume traders.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: May I buy Bitcoin & Ethereum now? Or I am late? on: April 27, 2020, 09:42:12 AM
I don't think it's anywhere near too late to buy Ethereum.

Pretty much everybody agrees that Ethereum will eventually attain a new all-time high.

Back in December 2017 ETH reached as high as $1,400.

If it manages to achieve that again, you'll more than 7x your money if you buy in now.

Just buy and hold for the super long-term and you'll be fine.
543  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which 3 exchanges would you recommend? on: April 26, 2020, 11:02:43 PM
I'd have to say Coinbase for the newest of noobs, Binance for the intermediate trader and BitMEX or FTX for the absolute most advanced or experienced traders.

Anybody looking to try their hand at derivatives trading for the first time might also want to take a look at Koinpro.com, it's one of the simplest ones I've tried but doesn't have a huge range of options.

Beyond that, Bitfinex also has a good range of features for all experience levels.
544  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bearish Reversal "DoubleTOP" on: April 26, 2020, 10:20:33 PM
Well, looks like you were incorrect.

Bitcoin has now returned to its pre-crash value and is now in the green for 2020.

There goes your credibility as a market analyst  Grin

Your double top turns into a bear flag Cheesy
545  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What can we do to minimise the risk in trading on: April 26, 2020, 09:55:27 PM
I personally think that avoiding margin trading or leveraged trading is the best thing to do if you're overly worried about risk.

A lot of people have some small success on spot trading platforms, then immediately jump to 10x or 100x leverage and get absolutely destroyed.

These platforms are only for the largest and most experienced traders, if you're a beginner, don't even bother trying.
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: COVID-19 - Is Bitcoin still our sole safe haven at periods of economic crisis? on: April 26, 2020, 08:17:47 PM
I guess you haven't seen that some countries actually cut off the internet during times of extreme unrest.

It's particular common in countries like India and China, but several other countries are also known to simply cut off the internet when there is a hint of civil unrest.

What good is Bitcoin if the internet gets cut off?
547  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which exchange has the best API ?? on: April 25, 2020, 09:06:36 PM
I have personally used to APIs of BitMEX, Binance and KuCoin, but I have to say that the BitMEX API is best to work with.

However, I only access these through a third-party trading bot, so I don't know too much about how easy it is to build around the APIs.

If you're worries about this, why not just work with their REST APIs? Most major exchanges offer this feature nowadays.
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Has Zero Active Development!! on: April 25, 2020, 05:43:27 PM
I mean when the founder of the project literally dumps all of his holdings, why would anybody really want to throw their money or time in?

In any case, Litecoin has achieved its purpose as the silver to Bitcoin's gold. It offers fast, lightweight payments.... What more does it need?

Why can't it just be a finalized product?
549  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Getting listed on Coinbase? on: April 25, 2020, 02:00:59 PM
Just because a project is invested in Coinbase, doesn't mean that it's going to be listed there.

As you can see Coinbase is a regulated company and they only deal with the absolute highest quality assets.

The company is also a billion dollar corporation, so I highly doubt it would be possible to buy your way in with a small investment.

He probably just wanted the publicity that comes with the investment.
550  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Are this kind of satoshi surveys legit? on: April 25, 2020, 11:54:02 AM
These are often legit.

However, you need to realize that a satoshis is an extremely small unit of Bitcoin...

1,000 satoshis is just 0.01 mBTC, or around 7 cents....

So unless you really don't have anything better to do, you could spend all day doing these surveys and earn practically nothing.
551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who own top 10 addresses on: April 23, 2020, 11:08:58 PM
I personally think it's a mix.

Some are the earliest miners that managed to rack up coins, while others are hedgefunds and exchange cold wallets.

I doubt there are many individuals in the top 10, they're almost all likely owned by big corps or enterprise platforms.
552  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Bitmain shipping? Coronavirus effects? on: April 23, 2020, 09:13:49 PM
Probably best to wait until after the halving to buy your mining hardware.

Usually the market sees a slight dump after the halving and hardware prices falls.

Snap them up quick and go online to benefit from the huge pump that usually follows.

Though you might want to act about a month in advance due to how Bitmain are when shipping their hardware.
553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchanges WITHOUT KYC? on: April 23, 2020, 07:16:18 PM
The vast majority of exchange platforms have a KYC-free limit of around 2 BTC per day.

I know that Binance is like that, so is KuCoin and HitBTC if I recall, but these are absolute trash.

If you're really worried about KYC, download exodus wallet and use its built-in exchange tool.
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS Staking? on: April 23, 2020, 05:16:50 PM
I don't believe that EOS will maintain its liquidity or network activity for the next 1-2 years.

You can already see how it is getting outperformed by other smart contract platforms, as developers are abandoning EOS en masse due to its overly complicated account system.

I hear that Cosmos (ATOM) is going to launch full staking soon, maybe that's one to watch. Tezos too.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 90% Of Project Bounties Are Scams on: April 23, 2020, 03:25:32 PM
Just because the vast majority of bounties fail doesn't mean they're scams.

Most bounties state quite clearly that there is no guarantee you'll get paid anything at all. They're a numbers game, or if you know what to look for you, you can minimize the risk of failure.

You should expect that 90% of bounties will fail, so you better ensure that the 10% that succeed sufficiently covers the effort you put into all the bounties you work with.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sistemkoin exchange is scam with people! on: April 22, 2020, 08:19:25 PM
You people still trust coinmarketcap for your exchange rankings?

It's pretty obvious that most of the top exchanges are just inflating their volume using wash trading.

Otherwise how the F would LBank and other crap exchanges ever exceed Binance in terms of volume?

stay away from low ranked exchanges and you wont get scammed, very simple!
557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Using Stop Loss in day trading? on: April 22, 2020, 06:02:33 PM
I even use stop losses during day trading, though I mostly trade longer trends.

For the most part, I'll use a stop loss as a take profit option on the exchange platform I'm using. I'll do this when a cryptocurrency has a large bullish intraday trend and is likely to backpedal the next day or so.

Dont set them too tight though or you'll get caught out by volatility.
558  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best option to convert Payooner to BTC on: April 22, 2020, 03:03:04 PM
As far as I'm aware, it's possible to exchange payoneer for BTC on localbitcoins, but it depends which region you're accessing from since the offer isn't available in all regions.

There are also a wide range of P2P and escrow groups on telegram, you can simply Google this:

cryptocurrency P2P site:telegram.com

This should pull up a list of relevant groups you can use to find a regular buyer for your Payoneer.
559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than your bank! on: April 21, 2020, 10:39:04 PM
At least in todays' terms BTC does indeed seem a lot better than any of my Banks which btw have now reduced the interest rates by more than half due to the virus.

As much as I appreciate BTC and recommend to others as I truly believe that crypto is the future, I also urge new comers to research thoroughly before investing money into crypto as we all on here know how painstaking/risky using the wrong exchange platform can be, never mind the risk of hacking but hey the rewards makes it all worth it  Smiley
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to know whether it is right to join bounties? on: April 21, 2020, 08:38:03 PM
The question isn't about whether it is right or not to join bounties since that decision is up to you. IF you want to have a hard time finding them and then once you find one have a high chance of getting robbed of your time then go for it. As you can guess from my tone, bounties aren't so valuable anymore since it's very difficult to come across a good project that's going to succeed an has the money to pay for a bounty. This is also due to the added difficulty added on by the market pressure lock as a result of the virus. So better to look for something else. Good luck!
