And what about "stratum requested work restart" on numerous pools - and since I see the wotk done, the credentials are fine, and everything works perfectly for some time then suddenly at least a ton of "stratum requested work restart" with no reason at all
If by "a ton" you mean a few times per minute then it's perfectly normal, see the FAQ. How about a restart every few seconds? Could that normal as well? Just wondering if I should start troubleshooting my rig. It might be just a heavy workflow day, I'll keep an eye on it the next few days. This morning I'm seeing restart requests every few seconds, and my g-blades have dropped from an average of 2.8+gh/s to around 2gh/s per blade this morning! It's fine to receive 2-3 of those messages within a few seconds. You should start worrying if you receive more than, say, 10 in one minute.

For several days "24-hour" speed is displayed correctly and rewards are growing, yet "Speed" is displayed as zero.
Since I cannot reproduce the issue you describe, you should send an email to support providing your username so that we can investigate.

looks like the pool went down a couple of times today
Not to me. Looking at the logs it seems everything has been stable over the last 24 hours.

Current speed of my workers is reported as 0.0 kH/s instead of about 500 MH/s. They are connected to litecoinpool and work as usual, just the speed displayed at the site is zero. What can be a cause of it?
If the pool reports a speed of zero it means that your miner is not submitting shares. This can happen for a variety of reasons, ranging from hardware failure to software misconfiguration. Since there are many possible causes, it is hard to debug this issue without further insight. You should try to look for error messages, but unfortunately many ASIC interfaces are not very helpful in this regard. Some of the most common problems are: - A bad or insufficient power supply.
- A badly configured server URL (especially in the case of Antminers, as Bitmain's software requires one to omit the "stratum+tcp://" protocol prefix).
- Wrong worker credentials. You must use the username and password of one of your workers, not of your account. Worker usernames are composed of two parts separated by a dot, the first part being your account username. Both usernames and passwords are case-sensitive!

Is there a way to change my username on my litecoinpool.org account?
No, that is not allowed. Feel free to register a new account with a different username though. Thanks! I wouldn't have thought so for security reasons, but figured I would ask. I have only had the account for a few days so it's not going to be a huge loss. Should I just orphan the old account? If you want you can have the account deleted by sending an email to support.

I find you give 103% pps without fee is it true?
It is true. See this FAQ entry.

Is the pool is compatible with Nicehash.com? Can I use their capacities to mine?
I don't see why not. Our Stratum implementation is fully standards-compliant.

I am running a Antminer L3+ on litecoinpool.org and currently running /#xnsub is it better to use it or should I remove it thanks ?
You can remove it, this pool has no need for the extranonce.subscribe extension.

The website has been under DDoS attack since Saturday. The attack is being mitigated, but of course there can be false positives etc., so if you have trouble accessing the website, send an email to support with your IP (or PM me on IRC) and we'll look into it. By the way, remember that the website is also accessible as a Tor service at ltcpool5brio2gaj.onion.

When running the default algorithm, most of time I see entries like: Hash: 000001be375232b2fadd1137e440bb9cab8a7... Target: 000003fffc0000000000000000000000000000... That's expected, algorithms are not interchangeable. Could you please elaborate a bit? I'm aware algorithms are not interchangeable, but what relationship does it have with the "Low difficulty" reject reason? I would argue that "Low difficulty" is bad terminology, but I suppose what they mean is that the hash is greater than the target (i.e. it's a target miss). And that is expected, if the miner is looking for solutions that meet the target for a different hashing algorithm.

That's expected, algorithms are not interchangeable. When using the sha256d algorithm, from time to time I see entries like these: [2017-07-21 18:43:24] stratum_recv_line failed [2017-07-21 18:43:24] Stratum connection interrupted Then stratum is restarted... That must be the server disconnecting you after a few minutes of inactivity. Most servers disconnect clients that do not submit shares frequently enough. You're probably not finding many shares because you're extremely slow relative to the difficulty that the server sets, and the difficulty is set so high because the server is not expecting anyone to mine with a CPU nowadays.

anyway I was down for a bit completely on both sites .unsure how long just for your info
Are you sure the problem wasn't with your connection? The logs say that globally the hash rate was stable all along, and I've had multiple users confirm that their mining was completely unaffected while the website was down. Unless you're talking about the DDoS attack of two days ago, when some of the mining servers were indeed down for 15 to 30 minutes (which is why one should always have multiple failover servers configured). Nope. Seemed deader yesterday, then your posted ddos. I did a "is it down" from That check site. Said you were offline for everyone to me. Thus my assumption ddos. I'm in Minnesota USA. fyi The website downtime (which was about 14 to 10 hours ago) was due to an issue with the server handling website services, not to DDoS. Said issue only affected website services, and is unrelated to the DDoS attack of July 18. By the way, "Is it down" is designed to check the status of websites, so you can't use it to check the status of mining servers, since Stratum does not run over HTTP.

Sorry for the inconvenience, the website experienced some issues in the last couple hours. As far as I can tell, the mining servers were unaffected. Everything should be back to normal now.

Since about 5:45 UTC today the pool's website and mining servers have been under DDoS attack. We are currently working to mitigate this. As usual, all you need to make sure of is that your miners' shares are being accepted. All accepted shares will be counted, just as normal.

I will receive my first L3+ today, is it possible to do solo mining.
Litecoinpool.org is a PPS pool. If you want to mine solo you don't need a pool, all you need is a full Litecoin node. By the way, at the current difficulty I wouldn't recommend solo mining unless you have at least a few GH/s.

Trying to do a manual payout but can't find that option. Where do I go? Click on "Payments" in the top menu.

L3+ Supports SSL/TLS, I do not know ?
Based on user feedback, Bitmain's software doesn't seem to support it.
