143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / New LTC project - SPLNS.TBDICE.ORG LTC mining i need your thoughts please on: May 09, 2017, 08:25:07 PM
Hello,
I am wandering if you will be interested to join a pool like this but for LTC

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1876330.0

According to Con statement he plans to release his code in public at some stage. IF/When that time comes i can play around and hack it first for LTC and later on to add DOGE to make it MM. My server is 99% idle so there is a planty of HW resources available

My solo LTC pool is working super stable. Not a single issue after upgrading for segwit support almost a month ago. I have 100Gh miner who seems to mine constantly. But i am getting bored of refreshing http://ltc.tbdice.org/blocks.htm blocks page Wink Everything just works no bugs or issues boring stuff...

What do you think about it?

Hello all,

I'm a newbie and try mining LTC with poolers cpuminer and tbdice.org.

I can't find my user under http://ltc.tbdice.org/users.htm. Can anyone give me a hint?

Personally I think the miner works. I see some accepted messages in my logs. I not sure if all configured ok...

Thank for advice and hints !

Hello,

In short try setting your mining difficulty manually as explained in pool home page
----------------------------
The pool supports difficulty setting inside your password. The format is: diff_xxxxxxx:(DOGE address), where xxxxxxx can be any positive integer value. For example s(bf)gminer -o stratum+tcp://tbdice.org:13333 -u LUNyycVonDH9aQMZn1fxyUeu8N3yS8w7ud.0 -p diff_2048:(your DOGE address) will start you mining at 2048.
--------------
In your case you MUST use 16 as diff setting or:
-p diff_16

What happens is that you are mining ok. But pool starting difficulty is a bit higher and you are not submitting shares because cpu mining is slow. And because you are not submitting anything pool is not able to adjust your difficulty and your miner (user) is not showing in pool stats page.

I do not want to discourage you but today LTC diff is making your chance almost 0 to find a block and get a reward for it. Same applies for other pools also. Unfortunately CPU mining these days can be used for educational perposes or as a lottery Wink  But that is what is tbdice is all about. You can always try your luck  Wink
Best

Pool Admin
PS. You can always PM me your starting cpuminer line along with your LTC+DOGE address if you are not able to sort it out

Hello pool admin, I am segwit dev. I would like to confirm if your pool has completely upgraded to 0.13.2. There is a checklist here and please make sure you are ready before segwit is activated. Feel free to contact me for support. Thanks!

https://litecoincore.org/ltc-segwit-pool.pdf

Hello,
I can confirm that pool segwit support is 100% OK.
1. All my Litecoin daemons are 0.13.2.0 installed from git about a week ago
2. Pool last block (20 mins ago) speaks  instead of me

https://chain.so/api/v2/block/LTC/9f555dc415f89995df9da009b6b3ce20523341634e326e9fb3fe6ace3557453f/

Thank you very much for your support offer....
Hoever i have contacted many times asking chain.so to list my pool but i got no response. If you can give me a hand with that will be great

Good luck to you 200+ Gh/s miner!
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The First Litecoin PPS Pool (litecoinpool.org) on: April 14, 2017, 05:48:16 PM

Sure your points are valid, and in the grand scheme of things it does not really matter. Its mostly due to the fact that I have 30GH worth of resources I can redirect to this cause (which is a significant portion of Litecoin's Hashrate), .....
A long time ago someone (or may be it was you Wink i can not even remeber ) told me that it will took you a week to patch and setup your own (solo) pool. Considering the fact  that you have significant portion of Litecoin's Hashrate i am wandering how many years have to pass before you setup your own pool Grin
You can always consider the option to join my pool with SIGWIT. Besides, doing so with such significant portion of Litecoin's Hashrate you will have less variance in payments and you will get 99.5% of each LTC block + 95.0% of each DOGE block. The beauty of it is that your rewards are generated directly at your address..Any way this is just an option Wink

haha well thats exactly what I just did...got fed up with all the games pools have been playing www.arisechickun.com Grin

And yea took me a few hours to set that up...obviously it uses the stock UNOMP interface and most of its code...I just modified the stratum side and fixed some segwit stuff. Unfortunately I have been super busy with otherstuff so don't have much time to play around with pool stuff.
Super....
Now you have to point your significant portion of Litecoin's Hashrate which equals to 30GH of the 2,561 GH/s around 1% instead of 1.40 MH Huh and you are set. Best luck with your pool.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Best LTC pool? on: April 13, 2017, 11:47:43 AM
I can recommend my MM SOLO pool.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1290219.0
http://ltc.tbdice.org

It is best and unique. You get 99.5% of LTC or/and 95.0% of DOGE block reward if you find one. If not you get nothing. You do not worry for your coins they get generated directly at your address. No databases, no fancy reward calculations, no hacks and such bullshit. For the recurred according to my stats the strongest pool suporter mining in my pool since beginning with 12G constant hash rate  is earning about 3-7% more than he could earn in ANY pool i repeat ANY pool out there

4. Best pool shares shown on web are buggy too  done! I think it shall be OK however i am watching it closely - One final restart to fix it  done it is ok now tested
I need a couple of days to fix all of the above

SEGWIT is OK but bad news is that i totaly forgot about doge coin. Doge does not like CB LTC nonstandard transaction (SEGWIT)
I will check for DOGE patches id there are any.

The bad news is that all DOGE blocks will be rejected because of that
frankly speaking i am not quite sure if DOGE can be patched at all

I will try to fix it asap
Meanwhile if someone can point me in right direction for DOGE it would be nice

And most important cupola is updated to latest version  Wink
