141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RED PULSE TOKEN (RPX) on: September 02, 2017, 06:39:20 AM
It seems okay but at the same time it doesn't seem any different than half a dozen other projects of past six months. There's no real guarantee that wants this money is raised for them that they're going to follow through and do anything that they say. That's the problem with the Ico set up that we have now it has a lengthy process to provide protected funds to the development team but it doesn't require them to do anything to follow through on their initial promises.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Two Recent Picks - Storj & Syscoin on: September 02, 2017, 04:30:06 AM
Hey BitCoinTalk,

I'm a brand new user. I've poked around at this website for a while, and I'm glad to finally be a member. I've been looking for a place to simply discuss my picks, and read about others picks and not have to worry about blatant shilling of coins that are nothing more than a cash grab.

I'll start with my first coin, SysCoin. I picked this up two days ago because I read that SysCoin was being implemented into Microsoft's Azure Marketplace:

https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/syscoin-joins-azure/

http://www.nasdaq.com/article/microsoft-azure-bringing-blockchain-closer-to-real-world-use-cm835914

So far, I have made about 20% back on that investment. However, that was more of a fluke and it seems the price is currently being corrected. Being adopted by Microsoft is huge, and that is why I feel so comfortable with this coin. Also, it doesn't hurt that Nasdaq.com reported on it!

My next coin, Storj. I made a small investment into Storj earlier today. Some of you may know who Kim Dotcom is, if you don't I'll briefly explain. Kim Dotcom is the founder and creator of Megaupload, one of the best (in my opinion) and biggest (fact) file sharing websites online before it was shut down. The past few months, Kim has been talking about Megaupload 2 in the works. Here is a video of how it works:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOAvSwX7Aqc

Now, if you pause that video at 0:41, you will see different options for different places to upload. Storj is the top listed platform, which tells that this new way of file sharing will implement Storj's technology a lot faster than most of us expected. This platform also allows for people to upload via Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, etc.

In the future, when an ICO is announced for BitCache I will definitely be picking that up as well. Kim has a history of shaping the way that the internet works, and I believe this is going to be another one for the history books. How this will effect Storj, I have no idea. But either way I think it is a really cool project that has been needed for a long time.

Anyone here currently holding Sys or Storj?
Seems like a nice start but you have to remember that while you have picked a couple of coins that have shown a pretty stable history most points will not behave that way, and you can't even guarantee that these two will. You can go to bed one night and get up 6 hours later and find that your portfolio was valued at X number of dollars when he went to sleep and now it's worth a tenth of that or even less.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: next bitcoin fork in Nov? on: September 01, 2017, 07:26:18 PM
Hi all,

I read somewhere that there will be another bitcoin fork in nov, is this true??

Where can I read more info on this? I googled but didn't find any news regarding this?

If it happens then it seems there will be another dip and I would buy then!!

Thankss

Don't let yourself be manipulated by rumors. The fact is that this is going to happen on and off through your entire experience with Bitcoin in cryptocurrency. There's always going to be somebody out there that's trying to push information with her it's false or nir false, and they're also going to take very small pieces of information that may or may not be true and blow them up much larger than they are.
The purpose of this is to create fear and to get people trading their Bitcoins. For the other people it's a great thing, but don't let yourself be manipulated by these things. It's dead be on the other side and take advantage of these things.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yesterday for a brief period, I was a NEO Millionaire. on: September 01, 2017, 05:48:35 PM
I have no idea what was being done back then and I was in a hurry so I didn't actually look at the date and time, but I'm sure at that point we weren't spending any more than $100 at a time. But if you think about it, and we would have taken just one of those wallets and send it to the side that 139 would have been over $600,000 right now.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CANADA to regulate ICO. RUSSIA is next? on: September 01, 2017, 05:17:43 PM
The thing is that the same process can be packaged differently and handled slightly different and stay under the radar for a long period of time. What really needs to happen is that within our own Community we need to regulate how these are handled. You have a company , individual, or a group of people that makes a certain number of promises to each of its vested members , and at this time because of the regulations we have absolutely no way to hold them accountable for those promises.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ICO Expert on: September 01, 2017, 04:57:44 PM
You should probably put a team together. The process of creating the coin, the process of introducing it into an exchange as an Ico, and the other process is to go along with it are individually not that bad to handle.  You really need a team of at least four people, one that can handle all the coding, when they can handle all the media, want to handle business , and then want to  bring it altogether.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: www.nvminer.com your thoughts? on: September 01, 2017, 07:53:44 AM
I don't really see a heavy history trust there. It's something that you might want to sit back and look at for a while before you go diving in. Online Cloud mining rental is not something that's going to ever be lucrative for you but the fact is those people could be mining with those machines all by themselves and making money but stead what they're doing is pushing the loss off on to their clients.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: DEV NEEDED - Investors needed on: September 01, 2017, 06:56:48 AM
I hope that you realize that the end result of what's going on here and what you're doing is going to be that everyone's going to steal your ideas, they're going to steal your plans, and they might steal some money from you. There are no trademarks here in cryptocurrency and any ideas that you put out there and give to another person are probably going to disappear somewhere later under somebody else's name.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best way to promote a CryptoCoin? on: September 01, 2017, 06:09:35 AM
The best thing you can do is to put your entire plan for at least 3 months in advance down on paper or down in your personal computer before you even touch your first announcement. What's going to happen is it soon as you even make a pre-announcement on a single form is you're going to get hit with questions left and right and chances are you're probably going to get hit with a lot of negative attacks that are based on the fact that people are tired of other projects that have taken their money and take that out on the new project.
150  Other / Meta / Re: Simple Machines Forum? on: August 31, 2017, 02:29:09 PM
There is no way somebody's going to sit right a forum website from scratch there's just too much to it. There are a couple of packaged forums out there and that's what simple machines for is. I believe it's free, most of them are, and basically you just download their software put it on your server make sure your server has what needs to be there, and then you fill in some forms on the back to tell the software what you want your form to look like, categories, titles and stuff like that.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need your advice, please on: August 31, 2017, 01:48:01 AM
Hello,

I want to make a new portofolio. I have 10k EUR and I don't know what crypto to get in my portofolio. I want only altcoins, but I want a rise with minimum 2x until December.
What do you think?

Thanks,
Adrian

That's a pretty tall order. In order to literally double your money and have that happened within 3 months you are going to have to have a very aggressive portfolio. I I urge you to not use money that you cannot afford to lose. At the same time this is going to be a very time-intensive project. I say that because you're not going to be able to invest in something keep it overnight and then sell it the next day.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Asia on: August 30, 2017, 04:28:27 PM
Pretty much the same as everywhere else. This isn't some sort of thing this going to be more prevalent one major metropolitan area than another. Think it's pretty clear that Bitcoin has about a 5% touch on population of most metropolitan areas. Of course there's people that take the Bitcoin as some kind of religion and have to go out there and tell everybody about it but once you get rid of them everything will settle into a nice even balance.
153  Economy / Services / Re: ██ [Free] Fast BTC Transaction Accelerator For Unconfirmed Transactions on: August 30, 2017, 03:39:31 PM
How many of these can you do per hour? I know that we ask a couple questions before when he first started off at the service but that is a valid question. It takes up to 2 minutes to push a transaction, so if you're just sitting there doing this by yourself then you're probably going to reach your maximum capacity here pretty soon don't you think?
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves hold for longterm Good or Not? on: August 30, 2017, 03:20:32 PM
If you haven't done so yet dump waves of course. I don't know why people have continued to hold on to it up to this point. It's obviously going to fail within the next 3 to 6 months for people continued to buy into it. All I can say at this point is you have been warned and when it jumps and your lost with no money then you cannot say that you were not warned.
155  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Earn money/tokens by helping others on chat? on: August 30, 2017, 03:03:38 PM
How about a place where people get connected on chat to share instant answers and recommendations depending on one's area of interest?

We've been exploring this idea and building tech for a while now and would love to hear your feedback/thoughts 🙏

Some more info. here - HelpTap
This is like most of those things that might not ever get off the ground. They're safe to be a decent idea there and then at the same time all the reasons a single page information and email address. So even though there's a decent information page there's nothing that actually shows that this is possible or be worked or being created in any way shape or form.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are ICOs & ‘Tokens’ are killing innovation? on: August 30, 2017, 02:03:55 AM
Initial Coin Offerings have raised $200 million dollars in 2017. Here is a short list of recent ICOs, and their fundraising results:

I think you are way off here. I bet ICOs collected over $1 billion in 2017.

They are just People being paid in advance for their product.   I do think they would be able to deliver way cheaper without ICO.   What si positive is that they also get a bunch of people supporting them. Funny is that some dont even realize that and use it in their advantage.

Nothing's killing innovation. Just because people get mad because they lose money to an Ico doesn't mean that Innovation is going to change in any way shape or form.   How exactly is innovation and these icos connected in these people's minds anyway?
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-SALE][-50% for 5 days] PeerMine - The coin who pay you every month on: August 29, 2017, 06:05:13 PM
This exact same concept has been tackled or dozen times or more at failed each time. As a matter of fact you're actually sharing names or getting very close to Sherry names with a couple of those that have disappointed most of the people here in the past. I personally touched on peercoin, which is one of those that you're sounds about like and I made a good deal of money off of it but I got out before it failed.
158  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Friends I need to buy bitcoins weekly to sell via p2p in Brazil on: August 29, 2017, 05:42:20 PM
Friends I need to buy bitcoins weekly to sell via p2p in Brazil, I pay via transferwise. Paid at the quotation of the preev.

I am looking for a reliable partner with availability of new bitcoins weekly or as demand for my sales.

Interested to contact me and leave your Skype or whatsapp to talk better.

Just get in touch honest people please.

There are at least a handful of services if not more they can help you do this. Maybe if it's something that's lacking in your particular region and what you need to do is create the service for yourself. This might be something I can be quite lucrative for you just make sure you check with your local regulations and see what might be holding other people back.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying altcoins with ? on: August 29, 2017, 05:12:25 PM
It is safe to say that most people use Bitcoin as the intermediate Source. That's what we do we go from Fiat to bitcoin and it's staying that Bitcoin while trading and do not go back to Fiat until we're done trading. Bitcoin is a safe place to keep your coins overnight, it's a safe place to keep your coins between one new coin and another and it's a safe place to keep your money.
160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is a whale? on: August 29, 2017, 04:30:17 PM
That's simply somebody that has leverage in there exchanges to control them. There's quite a few around, our investment firm has quite a few with in it. It's the same thing in the real world, somebody that has enough leverage that they can buy at a company or buy a controlling interest in a company at a complete control over them.
