sorted not sure how i did it took me 2 hrs to sort with a laptop lol

You lost the IP or interface so just reset it ..

There is a little pin hole in the back by the ethernet port.  Put a toothpick in there and hold for 5 seconds and release. Wait about 3-4 minutes to reboot, after reboot power down the power supply and reboot one more time. After it comes back up you will see it on the default IP which is 192.168.1.99

Some people needed to do this process twice but it always worked for me on the first shot.

Yes please do unsubscribe from my threads. I appreciate the offer.  As I mentioned in my other post, and most of the internet supports me on this, people who troll for sale ads have a personal problem. Especially with comparisons that don't makes sense.  Like comparing S3 to S5 or S7 .. Obviously price expectancy gets worse as you lower your range.

With your calculations I could buy a 100hp engine for $1000 so the 10hp motor should be $100.  That's all you've said here but it doesn't apply at all.

I could rip apart all your dumb theories and screen shots but in that process you would learn something and why would I want to feed a troll with anything useful. Go on continuing to make $5/m on the S5. You're doing great.

Sold  .. obviously not through here since price responders and cheapskates replied first.  $100 and I included a free power supply that was not miner compatible. only enough juice to power one side only and I don't hold much of a value to that.

People who reply to for sale ads to say it will not sell are the textbook definition of a loser.

People who sees crypto as watts and hash rates through a mining calculator are largely clueless.
That applies at the investment level and not the $100 hobbyist level.

What about that fake set and pretty lighting. That is not the way these companies look. If it was a real startup it probably would have rough edges and wires sticking out the back and bad spray paint. No startup that is bringing something new to the market would spend money or time on that. You would see a messy lab or a warehouse floor and perhaps after selling hundreds and thousands they will start making it look like a retail product with a commercial. This fictitious company jumped right to the retail product/ tv commercial stage without showing us the R&D first and first version.

147  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS: 1 Lonely Antminer S3 in Canada on: February 21, 2016, 11:26:13 PM
Those aren't facts.

Facts would be a link to ebay, a link to a proven sale, a proven supporting theory.

Quick look on ebay / kijiji in my local area.

3 x S3 + 1 Power supply $550 CAD
1 x S3 avg selling price $100 CAD - actually the home users like me are asking $125
1 x S3 mining farm beaters ebay $95 CAD buy it now

Its all moot because anybody who responds to a for sale ad to tell you it's not worth has always proven to be a loser. Price responders are the cheapos of the internet who want it but can't have it and often come with the most demented supporting facts. I think we used to call it story telling in can.forsale.

Please go and start a thread if you want to debate profits and mining.

don't you respond to every for-sale post and say that  ??  nothing is worth it, you can offer only xxx,  i don't think its worth that much.  do you have a second hobby beside being extremely cheap/stupid and taking part in public discussion to show this.

Lol $5 / month ,, you have to be one big idiot.
149  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yesminer M20 / M10 on: February 21, 2016, 07:03:38 PM
please read entire thread. there is no company !!

its a one man job

look at the youtube videos - this was the most pathetic scam i ever seen. anybody who lost money on this deserved it.  the scammer didn't even show his hand in the video and no voice.  who spends thousands with a company who hasn't even proven the existence of a single person.

I could have programmed a PC to write this entire scam in code.

I can only ship within Canada - anywhere else would not be practical.

I think its because you tolk it to Italian police first. I went to German Kriminal Polizei and they take it serious. Try to write lka120@polizei.hamburg.de.
They are processeing my case and if more people would do the same they have to react fast.

please enough with the processing bullshit..  I processed your case in 30 seconds. do you really think any processing is going on in any way shape or form. like I said in my other post, you are either full of shit or just a simple idiot. none of us here have to tools to find out which and I don't think anyone cares.

152  Economy / Computer hardware / WTS: 1 Lonely Antminer S3 in Canada on: February 20, 2016, 09:08:39 AM
1 lonely antminer from a power supply swap.

$75 US
$100 CAD
0.16 BTC

+ shipping

please note this is a top running unit.. We are talking 500gh/s without any hickups.  I just don't have enough power left and don't want to buy a power supply for one small unit.

156  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer S3 Setup [HD] on: February 14, 2016, 08:15:47 PM
Problem solved. I'm sure many will be helped by this and my efforts to continue solving the problem.

It appears to be a warped heatsink problem from heat.  After removing it for the 3rd time I put it on the stove for a flat surface and you can see the raise in the center.  Only the ends make contact with the stove and the center is about 1mm off. The giveaway was that when I pulled the heatsink off the cpu I could see the paste wasn't as consistent in the center as the outer chips. It was barely or not even making contact. Now after fixing by tapping with a mallet, one board stabilizes at 45 while the other I shut down because it was reaching 55 at the same time.

Who the hells makes a 10" long heatsink ? This should have been 2 pieces.

So if you still have a loud fan and climbing temps after cleaning the dust check your heatsinks for proper contact and warping in the center. (banana effect)

157  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer S3 Setup [HD] on: February 14, 2016, 07:09:02 PM
It is a problem. Nobody is complaining I'm documenting what I'm doing and hoping somebody has something to say, besides you who's clueless to anything other taking pictures and setting the ip.

5 miners operate 40c avg.
1 miner operates and climbs 2c every minute until the thing is spinning like a helicopter and goes above 60

if that is normal to you give your head a shake.
158  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer S3 Setup [HD] on: February 14, 2016, 06:26:59 PM
I took it apart again and reworked it and same results.  This one definitely has a physical problem.  Either a hardware problem with one of the components or a heatsink warping problem.  I noticed all them had loose heatsinks but this one was tighter. I have tried loose and tight all produce the same results. Ever climbing temps until I shut it down.  I'm up to 57c after a few minutes and still climbing while the other 5 are at 41c.

I'm disappointed by those heatsinks.  Some had holes through them from the sheers or whatever they used to cut them down. Really bad quality and those springs are a joke, they belong on a ball point pen not a CPU.
159  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer S3 Setup [HD] on: February 14, 2016, 04:30:07 PM
Yes its acceptable but way over what it used to be.. All of them used to run between 39-44 ..

now all run between 37-41 after the fix except this one which goes 45 - 49 - 52 - etc all the way until I shut it down at 60 because it sounds like a helicopter.
160  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer S3 Setup [HD] on: February 14, 2016, 04:28:37 AM
I did the heatsinks and dust bunnies on all the miners but one S3 now has worse results.

It is rising in temps about 1C every minute. It got to 60 and I shut it down. Has anyone ever had this. The others got faster and quieter after a clean and heatsink job.  I'm thinking one of them has the screws too loose or too tight on the heatsinks.

got a couple up to 250/0770v with no prob but this one is heating up at 212.
