edit: 21/01/2014 - I am selling direct at 15% off to those who contact me (contact details on site above) via email or skype, anything left over is put on site at 20% (which is not much at moment) hence the daily volume being sold at 20% has gone down, sorry about that it just makes sense for me to make the highest profit first. |

coingig.com looks the most promising replacement and their support seems open to suggestions for improvement and interface is actually nicer than bitmit, once I have time I will test out putting few sales

Everybody switch to cryptothrift.com TODAY. problem solved. The escrow and payment system is better anyway.
cryptothrift.com are nothing like bitmit, nor do they allow sell as many items like for example amazon.com giftcards coingig.com on the other hand looks promising! |

Its a sad day for bitcoins, I dont know how the price of 300$ + can be justified when the whole ecosystem resembles the wild west

Meanwhile please stay patient. does this mean they don't have enough profit margin? They started as a ebay for bitcoin sites "WITHOUT ADVERTISEMENT"... then now they added a few AD BANNERS... so it must've been about the profit margin? just my opinion... Properly coded a site like that could be run on 100/month server at its current number users, its not that big nor needs fancy algorithms or anything, maybe pay a bit more for ddos protection to cloudflare The adverts alone should be paying alot more than that, never mind the fees I wonder why sudden decision? |

Why is my "hotpocket empty"?
Same happened here. Have all (or most of) funds from "hot wallets" been removed to cold storage? First: it's not your hot pocket, it's inputs'. I guess TF moved all coins to a secure cold wallet until he fixed the security breaches. So calm down and use electrum to keep huge amounts next time Any news from TF? |
