I didn't test it myself, but seems to be referring to this thread.

forrestv said 13.2 is coming soon which will be necessary for Avalon mining now that p2pool BTC is past the fork.  Keep an eye on #p2pool for news.

Litecoin-0.8.3.5 Release Candidate - Code Review and Testing
Changelog: Minor bug fix for wallet.dat
This might be the official release for Litecoin.org if our code auditor finds no flaws!

144  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: p2pool-scanner - Automatic List of Public p2pool Nodes on: July 10, 2013, 07:08:22 PM

i have been maintaining one for btc at http://p2pool-nodes.info/
i noticed you hard coded the port number, but there are nodes that don't use the default port.
i have filtered out p2pool versions that aren't on 11.x or 13.x right now and those that are disconnected from bitcoind.

Did you base it on p2pool-scanner or wrote your own?

147  Bitcoin / Pools / p2pool-scanner - Automatic List of Public p2pool Nodes on: July 10, 2013, 06:10:23 PM
The Litecoin Project is proud to release the source of p2pool-scanner, an node.js app that scans the entire p2pool network and generates a page listing known public pools.  The main benefit in releasing this source is to allow BTC p2pool to use it.

https://github.com/litecoin-project/p2pool-scanner
Source

http://p2pool.litecointools.com/
The p2pool LTC network is listed here.  Yes, the current ordering is not ideal.  Ordering by uptime isn't the greatest idea.  It should be smarter in excluding old, known buggy versions of p2pool and when the daemon is warning.  Please send pull requests to the above github project with general improvements to the code.

Someone else should run the official BTC p2pool-scanner.  Keep it stable and contribute improvements to the source project, and we can ask forrestv to link to your p2pool scanner from the OP.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / RFC: Litecoin-0.9.x+ Plan to Eliminate Historic Spam UTXO on: July 01, 2013, 10:56:15 AM
https://forum.litecoin.net/index.php/topic,4804
Here is a preliminary plan for what the Litecoin Dev Team is thinking about for a late-2013 release, perhaps for Litecoin-0.9.x.  This change would make the Litecoin client faster, use less memory for everyone, and with absolutely zero drawbacks.  Public comment is requested.

No.  We have stated from the beginning that he will reveal himself when he's "ready".  You can guess whatever that means.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / 1,000 LTC Community Challenge on: June 29, 2013, 11:13:37 AM

This matching challenge is different. The sponsor revealed himself, and his goal is to encourage many little donations to demonstrate the size of our community. You don't need to be rich to contribute to the future of Litecoin. If only a tiny fraction of our users gave 1 LTC each, that would send a powerful message to vendors about the seriousness of our community to protect the network in the long-term.

Please note the latest development progress, often posted on the Litecoin Project Google+ page.

153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Feathercoin to partner with other leading alt currencies on: June 27, 2013, 12:38:30 AM
I started here in March 2013.  I am not fully aware of the history of Litecoin as I wasn't around.  I can guess that some mistakes were made earlier, although you don't point to any particular examples so I don't know.  There were previously a few people who claimed to be Litecoin devs who were either removed for malfeasance or never were Litecoin devs.  In any case, this newly organized team is ratifying the principles of vendor neutrality and has the primary goal of defending the Litecoin network.  Anything outside of that is up to other individuals or companies.

SMH all these things being done for feathercoin could have been done for Litecoin.

The Litecoin Project does not do shameless self-promotion and pumping of its value because we feel it would be improper to do so.  The ONLY role of the reference project is to protect the security and stability of the network.  The reference project must also never endorse or be unduly influenced by any vendor as it would create unnecessary drama from the perception of conflict of interest.  If the coin is properly maintained by a trusted team of professional developers such that the network is stable and dependable, then others may trust it and build things on top of it.
157  Bitcoin / Pools / Critical Litecoin Update 0.6.9.2 for Denial of Service Attack on: June 26, 2013, 04:00:54 AM

Read details of DoS attacks on the Litecoin network that has been going on since at least Friday, June 21st but stopped by Litecoin 0.6.9.2.  Before the supernodes were patched it appears the attack was the cause for the spike in GBT latency experienced by p2pool LTC nodes.  Individual nodes are still vulnerable to memory exhaustion DoS attack.  Please upgrade to 0.6.9.2 ASAP to protect your node and the network.

158  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [700GH/s] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: June 24, 2013, 03:16:39 PM
Litecoin-0.6.9.1 now recommended for all LTC p2pool nodes.
You MUST follow directions and connect to a supernode

Important bug fixes, August 15th hardfork deadline, plus reduced fee!

https://forum.litecoin.net/index.php/topic,4615.0.html

The release for the general public on Litecoin.org is coming real soon.  You can help smooth the transition of the network to the lower fee by upgrading the entire p2pool LTC network to be capable of relaying newfee transactions.  Follow the directions and add two or three supernodes to your litecoin.conf.

@forrestv - have you considered adding a string to the coinbase to identify p2pool?

There is no need.  It can be identified automatically by forrestv's payout txo.
