141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DNT][ICO] District0x - 🔵 ICO is today! 🔵 on: July 30, 2017, 09:39:46 AM
So, what do you guys here think? Is this a legit Project to invest? So far around 35k ETH invested = 7 million Dollars.

I think it's legit and I invested in.
Also think that soft and hard caps are too high. Anyway they reached the minimum amount and hope it won't get overvalued.

Caps are quite to high - but remember: ICO mania was just some weeks ago... And also several people want to keep their BTC to claim some free BCC after the bitcoin cash hardfork on 1st of August.
I think ~40k ETH is enough for this project to go on.
Better a for investors to have a not overvalued project.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: July 30, 2017, 09:32:14 AM
why no? what's the difference between a wallet that is new before the fork now and a old wallet, that both are empty? i'll not claim bcc with a full wallet, i just import a empty private key that had btc in it, and what you mean going into the fork? every wallet is going into the fork

Yes, every wallet is going into the fork.  And the empty wallets will be empty.  And the wallets with bitcoins in them will have both BCH and BTC.

Exactly, this is my plan too. I will send my Bitcoins to new address to make sure everything is good. Once it will be confirmed then use those private keys to claim my BCC though it is protected against replay attack but we are responsible for our own security.

Yes, this is good strategy.  To be clear, this only works if you move your bitcoins after the fork starts, not before.

oh now i understand, so only the wallet that are full after the full can claim even if they are empty afterward, it make sense now, so i don't have to move on exchange to claim right? i can calim at any time as long as my wallet hold btc after the fork? even within one year?

The "Bitcoin Cash" Coins are a copy of your existing BTC coins on the "new" BCC Blockchain. So, if you have access to your private key you can claim them as long the network is alive. You dont have to do anything now.

But, as written above - take care about your Bitcoin, when you claim your BCC.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TaaS — Tokenized Closed-End Fund on: July 30, 2017, 09:29:30 AM
What was the price for the ICO?

I think the ICO price was somewhere around 0,00078000 BTC per Taas Token (with bonuses included). So I think it's quite far under ICO price (if you take the average ICO price). Can somebody confirm that?
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TaaS — Tokenized Closed-End Fund on: July 30, 2017, 09:27:46 AM
In Telegram group team said dividends should be between .30 and .50 $ per token
ah. that's really great then. i'm glad that i bought few more taas, should get good dividends then, even at $.3 per taas.
Shocked
If so, it really is great Cool
When they will distribute those dividends, any certain date?

Yes, great news!
I would also be interested how they are going to pay the dividends? Is it payed in ETH or TAAS or something else?

Another question: are the devs on the telegram group or how to get in contact with them?
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Update] Project : Districts | 3DCoin | 3D Explorer | VR [Update] [ANN] on: July 29, 2017, 11:09:08 AM
emm any news about bounty distributed? Smiley

All participants in the bonus can withdraw the bonus when the project is launched in December.

Great to hear, that you plan the launch for this year. Is there a detail new roadmap to go there? Can you provide us some information about the upcomming ICO?
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]PiCoin [POS+POW] [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN] on: July 29, 2017, 10:24:06 AM
It is a pity, did not expect the developers to go so, he did not get anything from the coin, why the development of the coin

Dev might have had an accident, or got sick ... doesn't look like a scam, just abandoned

That would be bad. I really hope that the dev comes back, because the community arround PI-Coin is really great! Probably we have some devs in the community which can take over the development (if the code is public on github)?
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: WINGS ★ Where DAO Unicorns Are Born! ★ Token launched! on: July 25, 2017, 10:51:07 PM
As you all probably heard, the SEC made a statement today: the DAO is a security in their mind. How will this SEC statement influence wings? Could somebody of the team give a statement?

Great to see the actual raodmap! I realy hope that the team is delivering in time.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin (airdrop) - Pro on-chain scaling on: July 22, 2017, 09:53:54 PM
well, it's doubled in value.

they're gonna pump the shit out of this while they still have a captive market. i wonder how many people have chosen to lock their coins up on viatbtc.

This coin is legitimate because the current scaling roadmap proposed by the core developers largely is not.
They want bitcoin to mostly scale with second layer solutions which is not what Satoshi created and
by the way is not anything that other coins are doing, so they are the ones doing a radical change
which is more like an altcoin.  True story.

I think Satoshi wants that the technology improves day by day. Why would he be against a second layer solution? Segwit seems to be less dangerous than a block size increase for the moment. So why not implement just Segwit?
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: July 22, 2017, 05:41:02 AM
It is good to see, how this team is progressing. Stratis is one of the projects which are delivering their stuff in time and on the other hand they improve the project so much by hiring competent people, set up efficient structures for pm, ...

I start believing again, that strat is under evaluated...
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TaaS — Tokenized Closed-End Fund on: July 19, 2017, 09:28:10 PM

That dividends actually will be important point of getting attention. After first distribution people will show huge interest in buying which will trigger the market value. I have some amount in my possession bought at panic times. In spite of all every type of comments TaaS looks good to take risk continuously.

only if the dividends are surprisingly "high" most ppl in here expect a huge dividend and I think most of them will be taken back to reality pretty fast.. after this I think we will have a stable and healthy growth.

I think so bro
Im waiting huge dividends

Does somebody alread know when the dividends are paid out? Are there already some rumors about the size of the dividends?

Quote from the official Coindash.io Website:

Quote
Dear CoinDash contributors,

It is unfortunate for us to announce that we have suffered a hacking attack during our Token Sale event. During the attack $7 Million were stolen by a currently unknown perpetrator. The CoinDash Token Sale secured $6.4 Million from our early contributors and whitelist participants and we are grateful for your support and contribution.

CoinDash is responsible to all of its contributors and will send CDTs reflective of each contribution. Contributors that sent ETH to the fraudulent Ethereum address, which was maliciously placed on our website, and sent ETH to the CoinDash.io official address will receive their CDT tokens accordingly. Transactions sent to any fraudulent address after our website was shut down will not be compensated.

This was a damaging event to both our contributors and our company but it is surely not the end of our project. We are looking into the security breach and will update you all as soon as possible about the findings.

The CoinDash vision, product and team will continue to live on. We will be fast to recover and we will create the future of trading.

Reminder: We are still under attack. Please do not send any ETH to any address, as the Token Sale has been terminated.

More information will be published on our social channels and our website.

-CoinDash Team
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: July 17, 2017, 09:27:31 PM
Hi all,

does somebody know pre-ico investors get to their sonm-tokens? On the official crowdsale page there is just a hint in the FAQ that the process will be announced on the crowdsale page - but I can't find more detail instructions there?

Any other news about the pre-ico tokens?

158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [WAVES] in 5 years on: July 11, 2017, 10:29:47 PM
Guys, 5 years is a very long time in crypto. I would say 5 years in crypto are equivalent to 20 years in stock market. It is quite impossible to predict the price of waves. We cant even predict, if bitcoin is still alive in 5 years (the "real" bitcoin).
Keep a close look on the market and react based on news and the chart patterns. This is the safest way.
And the most improvement thing in crypto: “Don’t fall in love with a coin!”
159  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Incent: Die erste universelle, Händler unterstütze Treue- Plattform on: July 11, 2017, 10:17:50 PM

160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ZCash backdoor? on: July 11, 2017, 10:15:19 PM
Your theory is absolutely absurd. ZCash has been on the market for a long time now, and any backdoors would have been immediately noticed by other contributors.

Very, very few people truly understand how Zcash works. Even Zooko can't explain it. A backdoor could be something as simple as a vulnerability that they either accidentally found, or intentionally placed, and then kept secret. It's not like there's a big "THIS IS THE BACKDOOR!" comment in the code. It would be an extremely obscure vulnerability, that could then be used to deanonymize transactions. Considering that the founder essentially admitted there are ways for them to make Zcash useless for criminals, it's far from absurd to say that Zcash has backdoors. To me, it's practically 100% certain that they're there.

Come on. You know, and I know that a backdoor would have been sealed long ago, if it had even a chance of existing. ZCash had, and will continue to have a bright future.

Maybe you can explain it to us then.

Right: This is a "possible backdoor. ZKsnarks technology required a kind of "key" to "start" the network. If you look to the history of Zcash, they really knew how sensible this topic is and spend hundred thousands of dollars to make the "start procedure" safe (in easy words: they split this "starting key" so that all team members have only fragments - and they involved civil law notary. The "key fragments" were later on destroyed).

So, yes, this is a possible backdoor - but the ZKsnarks technology requires this. I think they took care that everything runs safe.
