You can still get Steneum at a good price on Cryptopia but I'm not sure how long that will last.

You can no longer mine DavorCoin but you can mine a similar coin called Steneum (which also uses scrypt). Their ICO just concluded and it just began trading on exchanges 2 days ago. It's likely to be as big as DavorCoin or even Bitconnect (similar lending platform). So if people missed out on Bitconnect or Davorcoin there is still a chance to mine or buy Steneum before it's over a $1 USD. You should know the hashrate on Steneum is rising rapidly so if you don't have a scrypt ASIC you might be out of luck.

This reminds me of the people on Poloniex's old trollbox who were urging me to "dump ETH, ETH is DETH" when the price was around $12 for months and months. They thought I was dreaming and "delusional" when I said that someday 1 ETH would be worth $500-1000 USD.

Also reminds me of people who told me to sell Litecoin at $4 because they bought it at $50 and it "would never go anywhere".

Or the people who urged me to dump Monero at $15 because it was "a darkmarket exit scam".

I'm pretty happy I didn't listen to any of them, just like I'm not listening to you. (Nor should anyone who considers themselves wise in crypto).

Not all developers want spotlight for themselves, nor are comfortable with their names being out there. We should respect the wishes of the team behind BitAsean to remain anonymous until such time that they want to reveal more about themselves.

Being anonymous does not make them dishonest or "crooks" as you said. Ask yourself if crooks would give 1-to-1 coin swaps for people who bought or mined the coin months ago. Crooks would have dumped all their coins at the all time high but as we can see the developers did not do that, nor have any of the other large holders of BitAsean.

I've talked with the developer numerous times and can assure you that development continues. There are things which they are working on which they'll announce when they are ready.

I know the answer but it is one which you cannot voice. You are here because you are afraid you made a bad mistake now that the price is above where you sold. It's your own fault for selling cheap. You only lose money when you buy high and sell low. In other words you did it wrong.

I am sure there are other projects which may interest you if you are looking for a "quick buck" so since you're out, see you later. BitAsean is and has always been about long term development. One which will benefit more people in a larger way in the long run.

If you never heard of LINE, it's an app like WhatsApp or WeChat made in Japan and currently is the most popular chat/messaging app in Thailand. There is a small rumor that at least in Thailand and other parts of southeast Asia they may incorporate BitAsean into the app. If that happens BitAsean will set a new all time high many times its previous one this past summer. Developer just needs to keep developing. Android wallet is done I think? iPhone should be next. Patience will pay off in 2018 but considering the small supply this low price won't last too long.

I remember when Ripple (XRP) was $0.03 and there are many more XRP than BAS.

I find that very hard to believe. There are several projects which I know for a fact did not pay that to get listed there.

How about exchanges? HitBTC is a good one. What would it take t to be listed there or some other higher volume exchange?

What are you mining with? If you don't have high enough hash power you might not have anything yet.

If you look at the top 20 holders, none of us whales are selling. Only 30 million total coins (5 million in circulation) and such a low price means it is only a matter of time before the new money in crypto discovers this coin.

Anyone who keeps their Bitcoins on an exchange in 2017 is doing it wrong. Mt Gox was a thing. Exchanges are for trading not for storing.

Look at Bitconnect. Now imagine you get your money back as the same amount of crypto as you lent rather than the dollar amount of that crypto.

I think Jaxx wallet integration might happen sometime in 2018 too as Jaxx is now supporting a lot of tokens.

I am a holder of a large sum of BAS. I and other holders of large sums of BAS are not selling it because the developer is working hard to achieve goals outlined on the official BitASEAN wesbsite. I think 2018 will be a very good year for BAS. Patience is required for it to reach its potential but when it does OMG profit!

This is currently a low satoshi, fairly limited supply coin which will serve a specific need. It is compliant with laws within the region and did not have an ICO as many less reputable projects did. The fundamentals point to a future rise.

Does anyone know the RPC Port for the wallet?

There have been ongoing talks with Bittrex. That will probably come with time and higher volume on HitBTC once the wallet is out and the use begins.

What can they say other than "hey I'm developing and we're working to build some business relationships"? In otherwords they'd just be repeating what has already been said by them here and in the whitepaper. A better use of their time is not talking but doing which if you check Github, is what's going on.

What you want is hand holding not development. Talk is cheap and there are plenty of ICO scams with lots of really chatty people but with no development if that's what you wan.
