141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Okay, Litecoin price needs to crash again now...... on: January 19, 2020, 11:05:31 AM
FUCK!!!  FUCK!!!! FUCK FUCK FUCKITY FUUUUUUUCCCCKKKKKK!!!!!!!!

I've been watching the price of LTC slowly dribble downwards, and it got down to $37.  I was planning to buy more LTC below $30.

Then something happened, and prices are bouncing all over the place!  LTC went to 40, 45, 50, 55, and now 60!!!

WAITAMINUTE!!!! I didn't buy more LTC yet!!!  Go back down below $30 to maximize my profits!!!

DAMMITT!!!!!!!
Sometimes what we think is not in accordance with what happened friend and for people who bought LTC before it would be very advantageous with these conditions but for people who have not bought and waiting for the price to fall they will definitely feel a little disappointed with the situation because they did not buy it and decided to wait for the price to decrease and what happened did not match what was predicted, but calm down my friend there are still many opportunities for you.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you sure crypto is the future currency? on: January 19, 2020, 07:36:53 AM
I think cryptocurrency has indeed become one of the currencies in the future because with cryptocurrency people can make transactions easily with large distances. Money transfers will become easier, faster and more efficient, now many platforms are developing technology from cryptocurrency to developing multiple platforms so that they can become more widely used.
That is something that will be very useful later where we can make transfers or payments using cryptocurrency from anywhere using the internet network. But, I think it might be difficult for cryptocurrency to be accepted in some countries because the price is fluctuating and can change at any time and also the internet is needed to do it and maybe this will be difficult for remote areas that have not had an internet network there.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: January 19, 2020, 04:39:19 AM
We should be careful who to trust. Don't trust any person if someone offers you a very good return of investment in telegram. Always try to deal with someone you know or a lot of people recommend to you.
Everyone must be careful in every decision and it is true that we should not easily believe what others say, sometimes people are interested in what other people say by promising that they will get a high return on investment and also the project will be a big project. But most of these things are just a trap to be able to attract many investors and when they have earned enough money, they actually run away with the money.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Features of a new Bitcoin? on: January 18, 2020, 01:37:43 PM
Hi All,

I love this community and what it stands for, so im wishing to start a new project similar to Bitcoin but with some differences. What kind of features would you like a new Coin to have? As this is a community project, i will try to pick whatever features and name you guys want, please let me know.

*edited*

Why project similar to bitcoin, have you planned what kind of similarities because many developers tried to imitate bitcoin but most of them failed to so i think it would be better to have another idea which is similar but there are somethings to offer more than the features of bitcoin i guess. And if you ever want to don't relate the name bitcoin itself like others did because it might end up in a bad way of thinking.
New projects that try to emulate what already exists in my opinion precisely the project will fail and may not be able to develop even though what imitates is bitcoin though. Maybe if for the name itself we know that there are some names that can be said to be similar to bitcoin but actually it's different and for new projects if you don't have new innovations or try to develop things that already exist I think the project will fail and it is difficult to develop.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you prefer to hold for more than a year? on: January 18, 2020, 11:21:06 AM
I personally prefer to hold bitcoin and ethereum. They are good coin and more potential to hold for long term.
There are lots of good coins to hold in the long run and everyone must have their own opinion about what coins they think are good to hold in the long term and for BTC and ETH it is true that both coins are good coins to hold in a period of time the old one because we know that the two coins are the top coins in cryptocurrency and maybe if you want to try another coin, you can observe some of the top coins that you think are good for investment.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be aware, so many scam coins are around on: January 18, 2020, 08:49:51 AM
Those new coins is promising their investors as far as they can so that they will invest to them. Little did the investor know is that they will be scammed because in first the value of the coin that you have is high but sooner or later it will go down because the developers will not gonna take care it of since their main goal is to scam people.
The weirdest thing that new developers do with new projects this days is promising good returns back to investors who invest on them, this won't do any good but turn off people who are still looking forward to invest on such project, any project team that promise good ROI is flashing danger to investors
There's no other way to attract investors but to let them believe to get big or decent profits. Every developers do this instead of trying  finding ways
to be more useful and bring help to the entire industry. Be furious with your money invest only to whatever you fully understand.
Getting other people to trust and want to invest in a project that is delivered is a way for developers to attract investors to want to invest in the project and this is a natural thing. And what should be considered is actually how to assess the project or what about the product that was delivered and the activeness of the team behind the project in conducting updates to assess whether or not the project is good.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BCH, BSV more profitable than Ethereum? on: January 18, 2020, 06:08:10 AM
The profitability of investing in any altcoin whether Ethereum or Bitcoin Cash all depends on the investment plan and strategies you have as a cryptocurrency investor.  With a good investment plan and strategy, a small change or increase in the market value of any altcoin you invest in can produce a good amount of profit no matter the altcoin you are investing in. Its all about the investment plan and strategy not the coin you are investing in.
It is true that sometimes what we need is to find a gap or opportunity for a coin to be able to make a profit, we need to determine which coins we think have a great chance to increase later and we need to determine at what point we will buy the coins. But sometimes we also need good coins to invest in the long run like bitcoin and ethereum.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some IEOs could also turn out to be scam on: January 17, 2020, 03:22:57 PM
ieo which makes scams mostly come from unclear markets and those using fake volumes such as ieo from latoken, p2pb, exmarket, probit, coineal and for those holding on major exchanges so far it is still safe but most of them have pump and dump schemes but this is just in my opinion or indeed it is a strategy of the project or exchange that organizes but this is in my opinion better than exit scam.

Hope that those exchanges will also pay the consequence for listing a scam project, as they are the ones who supposed to investigate with the project they are listing and making sure that they are not listing scam as this will affect their reputation, so it's really bad to see those exchanges that don't care at all , means they are also scam.
When many scams projects are listed in an exchange it will certainly damage the reputation of the exchange and many people will start leaving because of the many scammers. But I think maybe a scam will still be there because maybe there will be a number of scam projects listed in the exchange and what we have to pay attention to is, how do we choose and be careful of every choice we will make.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will not replace fiat currency on: January 17, 2020, 10:28:49 AM
The main concept of crypto currency is digital payment, people need to understand that first and encourage to make use of this.

some understand it already and they already use it while some have more expectations on crypto and they think that crypto can replace fiat in the future  . you already explain here if what is the purpose of crypto  .

crypto uses an internet and if no internet no crypto also  , that is also the time that we can make use of  our fiat currency   . see the difference  ? crypto is not too mighty to overtake fiat
Yes it is true, both have their respective uses at certain times and cryptocurrency itself requires the internet and for some places that are difficult to access or difficult internet in the area, cryptocurrency there cannot be used and we need fiat. And for me personally cryptocurrency will not replace fiat but cryptocurrency has its own advantages that we can make transactions without the need to meet face to face.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO better than ICO? on: January 17, 2020, 07:59:34 AM

IEO has become a new trend of investors and this type of investment has been very popular recently. I think the current IEO projects at the big exchanges can help you make a big profit if you're lucky and don't spend too much time waiting. In my opinion, it is best to participate in IEO at Binance, Kucoin or Huobi because these are the 3 best exchanges for everyone.

Currently, ICO are risky because 99% are scams and are not encouraged to invest because you can lose money anytime if the development team disappears.

That's why I no longer interested investing in ICO anymore and I discouraged my friends investing on it as well, for IEO, I am investing in some reputable exchange but of course it also depends, I become more wiser now and just don't invest in some project because of the hype and the good market they bring but  because they met deadlines, roadmaps and they have real products
Real products become a distinct advantage for a project where people will prefer to invest in projects that have real use cases because for them projects like this will allow developers to continue to make updates about their projects and develop to be able to improve the products they bring and also attracts more investors to invest in it.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cut crypto loss at no cost on: January 17, 2020, 05:45:22 AM
Wondering how many people left Google before its IPO.
Do you also wonder how many projects like Google has failed before the first year?
The risky businesses bring more profit than traditional businesses but it doesn't mean every project will be successful.

Good point. So it is all luck.  Grin  If you miss it, you miss it.
Glad you agreed to what the above user said because i dont supported what you said about the coin in subject on the OP page for the theive level of coin in the crypto territory are not measure by the concept you stated. Do yiu know how many altcoin that project more standard features than ETH in the smart contract business but still under ETH force?

yes there are so many of these just like bitcoin, how many ALTs have better development than bitcoin but it is far below bitcoin in market capitalization, what is needed most is trust in the coins, no matter how good your project is if no one is believe then it will be in vain.
Trust can be obtained from how the project is developing, how developers continue to make updates about their projects and keep trying to introduce and also develop the project which then makes many people interested and start to trust the project. For me the reason someone buys coins is because the coins they buy can be said to be potentially and have good development.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to invest in Tezos in 2020 on: January 16, 2020, 01:34:17 PM
I also see many who are interested in this one coin so I am also sure to invest in tezos and we expect to be evolving like ethereum at the time, and also the Tezos project has a real partnership so it is sure to Develop for the future, and we wait this year if Bitcoin continues to increase then I believe Tezos will also follow the flow of Bitcoin.
Do not just because many people are interested in investing into the coin and then you follow it, sometimes you have to be able to make your own decisions based on what you observe from the coin. And for the hope that when the price of bitcoin rises slowly the price of altcoin also follows it, I also hope that it can happen and benefit us all.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO vs ICO my opinion, tell me yours on: January 16, 2020, 10:46:16 AM
ICO is never coming back no matter how much you hoped for it to, any new project that tries to use ICO to raise fund will be generally disappointed because they won't get near softcap at all, for IEO it's been said hundreds of time already to stay with Top exchanges
I think that during the next months or years we are going to begin to see a lack of interest in investing in ieos as well because even if you decide to invest in the ieos that are taking place in exchanges with very good reputations that doesn't really mean that you're going to get profits with those projects.

And profits are what every single investor in this market wants to get and since it is impossible to give them a guarantee that they are going to get those profits and with the high failure rate of ieos then the interest to invest in those projects is going to decrease significantly.
Indeed, there is no guarantee that all investments will get a profit, including IEO on exchangers with large volumes. And I think you are right that one day IEO will die just like the ICO that investors have begun to abandon.
Scammers are really smart I will not be surprised if they are already thinking about a new way to try to convince investors to give them their money, I really though that after the fiasco that the market of icos became people will never trust in any of those projects ever again.

But the popularity of ieos during the previous year seems to defy that theory, and if people want to lose their money to scammers there is nothing we can do except to not follow on their footsteps.
Scammers always have their own way and always have many strategies to make investors believe and want to invest in their projects. It's difficult to determine whether the project is a scam or not if the person behind it is very smart in making other people trust to invest in the project and for me right now we have to be more careful in investing in new projects and if we don't want to take risks to invest in new project then we can invest in the top coins.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hottest alts of 2020 on: January 16, 2020, 07:50:26 AM
What do you think the hottest alts will be this year?

Very interested in getting strong opinions on this.
I think for now the top 10 coins will be good coins to invest this year and many people will choose to invest in the top coins for now because we can see a few days ago the upward movement of bitcoin prices is a good start for all of us who are in cryptocurrency and hope that the price of altcoin will start to rise and this year will be a very profitable year, but this is only a hope.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I feared new altcoins might be left out on: January 16, 2020, 04:53:35 AM
I personally don't think all the new altcoin would be left out, if there's a bull run. It's basically dependent on the project in question and the trust they've gathered from their community. Exchanging your new altcoin to Bitcoin is not a bad idea as bitcoin is a better store of value.
It is true that not all new altcoins will be left out, but I think most new altcoins will slowly disappear if they cannot make progress with the projects they are carrying and if they do not have a community that believes in the projects they are carrying so I think for the time being it's hard for a new altcoin to survive and deciding to sell and invest it into bitcoin is a very good decision.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV Beats ETH very hard Soon on: January 15, 2020, 03:58:39 PM
Eth is the second coin after bitcoin and has good track record about development program, Bitcoin SV is to young and selfish to beat Eth. I still don't understand what your point because market is unpredictable and if you say only because price and volume that's wrong. Eth already have good foundation about trust, their users are loyal so Eth is more like brand right now. If bitcoin sv can't continue this " up " movement I think you'll gonna take Eth as your choice.
I agree with what you say, that for me personally also it is not something that can happen or it can be said that the possibility for beat eth is only a small possibility and for me it is actually not possible, even though we do not know what will happen later but for me for now it is not going to happen because we know that eth has good development and community and has become a favorite coin for many people.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 cryptocurrencies to invest in 2020 on: January 15, 2020, 01:51:47 PM
Most of the coins you listed are obvious coins that'll be profitable. I was thinking I'll see some surprise pick but I observe only marker is the coin that isn't well known. My top5 picks will involve bitcoin, and any new projects with valuable contributions to the industry launching anytime soon.
Of course everyone will involve entering bitcoin into their investment list because we know that bitcoin is a coin that has great potential to make a profit and many people will certainly choose to invest in bitcoin and for other coins maybe I will choose some coins like LTC, ETH, BNB which for the time being in my opinion are good for investment.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experiment , generate more bitcoin by buying TOP 10 alt-coins 2020. on: January 15, 2020, 10:49:05 AM
The problem is, the vast majority of cryptocurrency investors have little to no understanding of market dynamics, nor what constitutes a good versus a bad investment.

Because of this, inexperienced investors could easily be lulled into investing in a low-cap sh*tcoin just because it apparently has a good concept, despite there being no development or spine to the project.

As such, I would actually recommend that newbie investors don't take their financial matters into their own hands. If you're not experienced, don't enter a game where experience is key—it's as simple as that.

With that said, I recommend that new, inexperienced or trigger-happy traders look for an experience crypto finance manager, who can help grow your portfolio without doing the work.

agree 100% , everyone has to start somewhere. If you are new, play with something you can afford to loose.
My key for investing in project is to see activity( if they have working product, development and main thing users)
For new people it is better to start with the amount they can afford to lose. Actually this also applies to people who are not new even to continue to invest with the amount they feel they can bear the losses and can cover these losses slowly. And it is true that for the current project choice, we should pay more attention to how the developer updates and activates the project that is delivered.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High price but no volume on: January 15, 2020, 07:36:33 AM
It's back to square one if you are holding a coin or token for long term and finally altcoin season comes and the token or coin surge in value but has no trading volume on exchange, all your efforts and pain while holding is total waste, do not hold tokens or coins that have no demands, real use cases are what makes them very demanding
Maybe that coin is already dead by now, or someone hoard to much number of units of that. But I think it is already because it is deas by now. Whether the coin is still circulating even it has a low price , you may see the volume on it, it strange that your coin has no volume in the market, sooner or later I think it will be delisted tol in the market.

Now many tokens like that have been on the market for a long time but the volume on the exchange did not exist, surely it will eventually disappear in the market because it will be deleted on the grounds that the daily trading volume is inadequate.
I will not hold a token with a low volume because it is risky that someday the altcoin season will dump again and it will have no value.
Yes it is true, that holding tokens with low volumes is more risky and it could ultimately end up costing us and I personally would prefer to invest in top coins rather than coins with low volumes because I personally do not want to taking too much risk which could later be bad for me and I prefer to play it safe.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaigns now trial and error method on: January 15, 2020, 04:00:50 AM
Hi All,

This is not about scam projects. This is about the projects which fail to raise enough funds due to what so ever reasons. When bounty hunters work for weeks and at the last moment project announces that they can no longer run it due to insufficient funds raised, its nothing but a waste of time and energy for us.
In my opinion, should project teams have enough fundings before they look for investors? What is called MVP is very important for the users to check for before investing.
MVP will ensure that even if funds are not raised as expected, it can be delayed but not dead.
From your point of view, what other points are there which projects and investors both look for?
It is sad but we have to accept it because we all know that most of them are fail, so we have to choose the bounty more carefully. If teams have enough fundings before they look for investors, the bounty reward might be much lower and will you accpet it?
I think when the project had its own funds to develop their projects before seeking funding from investors I felt that the bounty reward that would be obtained was only in small amounts and we know that at this time it can be said that running the bounty is less promising if the project does not pay the hunters use btc or eth because we know that bounty hunters will not want to do something that is ultimately useless and they will certainly choose projects that dare to pay them using eth or btc.
