161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Sinking ship or Sleeping Giant? on: January 14, 2020, 04:30:04 PM
It's not a sinking ship but it's no longer a sleeping giant. Let's admit it that we've expected much with ethereum but mostly it became a failure to most. I'm still have my last ethereums on hold and willing to wait until I can see the price becomes acceptable for me to sell.
I'm still optimistic that ETH could show its market dominance among altcoins. Yes, Ethereum is not a sleeping giant anymore but consider it a sinking ship if people will never risk their money for investment. The future of this certain is only in the hands of the investors but of course, the devs have had a big role for this in order to turn back its potentiality.
Just like bitcoin, there are holders that are not willing to sell at any price. The developer that sold and plunged the price back to the current we have is desperate and is probably in need of money. We have no choice but to remain optimistic until we sell it at a satisfying price soon.
The future isn't just with the investors but it's more with the developers and how they'll show the development of it to us.
Developers must be able to show what developments or updates they will make in order to attract investors to invest in it or be able to encourage many people to start buying coins and also for investors if the project is good, they will start investing and hope that it will can provide benefits and hope that the developer can give what is best to develop the project.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do scam ICOs really taken to the court? on: January 14, 2020, 02:25:56 PM
I saw some of the scam busters in the forum talking about taking the case to the court on scam ICOs, my question is, is it really happening.

Can you give me scam ICO that was already taken to the court and teams are being punished?
I know about Centra.. so give me others.

There are ICO's and scam projects that are prosecuted but their number is very small compared to the number of scammers and those who run away with money, one of the reason is, the distance if you are investor from Asia and you invested in a project that is based on Europe you will have to travel and spend your money, and you need more funds to file charges.

That's the hard thing to do if you want to sue, you have to have strong evidence, even if you are a investor with millions of dollars, then I think it needs to be tapped out, even though the cost is very expensive too, but on average now a small investor by a deceptive ICO project becomes difficult too. to sue because it is constrained by costs.
Scamer is currently still on the prowl and difficult to judge because it is difficult to access.
It does require a large enough cost to do so, but for investors who invest in millions of dollars I think they will file a claim against what they have gotten and will report it and try to find evidence they have. But it is indeed difficult to access scammers because some also use false information and not information about themselves so it will be difficult to track these people.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good project or Useless projects! on: January 14, 2020, 11:31:30 AM
I need some details about this project "Hypnoxys". This token already listed in coinmarketcap and number is almost 16**. But I'm still curious to know is this project still legit to everyone. Here is some details about this project https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5110522.0
I think the project will not last long and will slowly disappear. But, this is just my opinion about what I see. If you think the coin is good and can give you a good return on investment, investing in it is the right choice. But remember, do not rush in making decisions and make your observations correctly and do not let you regret your choice later.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: January 14, 2020, 09:15:06 AM
There is one thing I have realized from my experience with KYC for bounties. Almost all the projects I have provided my personal information to them failed to even get listed on exchanges and the project dies off. Surprisingly, those that didn't require KYC paid me and the project is truly developing. My point is, am beginning to think those project requesting hunters to go through KYC are just in for their information to trade and do not have any intentions to develop their crypto project so let's be vigilant about whom we carelessly give our details to, for some peanuts...May God bless our hustle and
Honestly, i have the same experienced that i have been submitting my informations on the wrong projects which we all hope that they will not used it in illegal activities like scam because we our the one's who will get all the blame, that is why i learned my lesson that i should not trust and get fooled by projects who requires KYC.
This is what many people fear that the personal information we send to people who are not familiar with the reason to get our tokens after completing promoting the project bounty is misused and is our fault for filling in the form kyc and I personally always consider this and may choose not to fill in the form kyc because I don't want the information to be misused.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: January 14, 2020, 06:18:38 AM
There are a lot of people who got hacked in their exchange wallet and they started to send a report about it, but the exchange will not take any responsibilities about it because it is not their loss and they will only say sorry to you, that is why you should be careful with your wallets because no one will take any responsibilities to it if it was hacked.
Every person is responsible for their respective dice. Indeed many people have experienced this, where their wallet was hacked and they tried to report it but I think the exchange will not be responsible about it because they have not lost anything and do not feel disadvantaged and also it happened not because of their mistakes but our mistakes yourself as the owner of the wallet. So indeed we need to be careful in everything we do and do not be easy to give our information to others.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Danger that awaits few coins on: January 13, 2020, 04:02:49 PM
Yes a lot of alts/tokens here are not that useful and helpful in the end like from the start they can turn well but no future at all

Then i think better to pick few only alts and if you going to risk in some alts/tokens then better to sell that quickly for me then
you need to think like that's like for an investment only
It is true, many new coins that ultimately have no value and are removed from the exchange and also only eventually accumulate in the wallet and become junk. So it is true that when we get a new coin it is better to sell it and I personally will also choose to sell it even though the price is low but I am not too concerned about it and after I sell it then I will reinvest it into the top coins that I think have potential.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 start of a fresh market for crypto. on: January 13, 2020, 10:47:20 AM
I'm a little relieved entering 2020. Bitcoin has touched $8000. Hopefully a good step for the future. 2020 needs improvement on crypto market. Investors and traders will have new spirit and trust if they find good things this year.
Of course, when they see a good market price movement and will provide benefits, many investors and traders will start taking steps to prepare their respective strategies because this good market price movement is arguably a good opportunity and good news for all people who are in cryptocurrency and hope that further will continue to increase.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: could it be most project don't succeed? on: January 13, 2020, 08:23:25 AM
It can't be, because even good projects can become scams and this forum also doesn't have a checking system for projects that will be promoted in this forum so there's nothing to do, to make this forum free of scammers
You could say scammers will always be there with their tricks that can make others believe and participate in the projects they bring to be able to benefit for them personally. Indeed, for the moment I also think that there is no way that can be done to eliminate a scammer because scammers always have their own way to find a gap that they can enter. Maybe now it all depends on each of us, in choosing a project before making a decision, not in a hurry and easily believe the words of others.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Strategy: Withdraw 50% ETH and looking to invest in Altcoin on: January 13, 2020, 05:49:44 AM
I will not choose to invest more money on altcoins than on bitcoin, if you choose to trade Ethereum for another altcoins is your choice but you could choose to hold on Ethereum and buy some bitcoin which was better choice in my opinion.
Maybe I will do the same thing as what you do, instead of investing in some altcoins by selling 50% of our ethereum and investing it in another altcoin, I would prefer to stick to ethereum or maybe I will use it to invest it into bitcoin instead into other altcoins. Because in my personal opinion, this is more appropriate to do, but if you think that withdrawing 50% of ethereum and investing it in other coins has a greater chance of making a profit, then doing it is the right choice.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coming from altcoin to bitcoin on: January 11, 2020, 04:38:47 PM
you do not need to hesitate to sell the coin that is not good enough but you can not blindly sell a coin that is not top coin because it still has a chance to make a comeback.
I have been holding a coin from top 1000 project for a year, I keep holding it because they are still actively developing their even though they are not top coin. and it turned out it goes back to where it was, there is no harm in holding a low cap project.
For now, I think that new projects are difficult to develop the projects that they are carrying and instead many tokens that are obtained from them end up with no value. But it is true that sometimes we have to think about it before deciding to sell it and know about the project and the team behind it in developing the project, even though selling it and reinvesting it into BTC is a good choice too but sometimes we need to rethink and not blindly sell everything new coins we have.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Top Performing Altcoin In 2020 on: January 11, 2020, 02:52:15 PM
Will 2020 be the year Ethereum asserts it's dominance in the Altcoin space or are one of the contenders poised to take the Altcoin crown?
For me personally ethereum will remain in the top position of all altcoins this year, maybe I can happen something that is not in accordance with what we expect later and we do not know what will happen later but for me ethereum will remain the king of all altcoin in a long period of time and ethereum will remain a coin of interest to investors.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top coins to have in my portfolio? on: January 11, 2020, 11:19:04 AM
Your selections are good, that is also in my direction but not as many as yours,  if you need to add more then do research on the first set of coins on coinmarketcap but I really do not like holding too many coin, so as to be able to follow updates about them, also to know when to even add more or sell.
Sometimes buying too many coins is not a good choice, but everyone has their own way and strategy in investing. But for myself I agree with you that I don't like investing in lots of coins and prefer to focus on a few coins that I think have the potential to generate profits according to what I observe.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways To Distribute & Promote a New Coin on: January 11, 2020, 07:52:09 AM
What are some good ways to promote, distribute/sell a new coin? Please list some good techniques, so on and so forth. Thanks again.
I can't find any ways to promote, distribute and sell new project coin, if project hasn't good or legit. We know some project that will definitely success, how do we know? Only reason is project good. Scam project and low concepts project can't run IEO in top top exchange.
Bounty campaigns and advertisements on several websites are a great way to promote a project. But, for the time being I find it difficult to attract investors to invest if we do not have a good product or arguably a product with good innovation and how the plans drawn up by the team behind the project will determine investors' desire to join a project.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin still or altcoins on: January 11, 2020, 05:50:55 AM
Putting all my money on bitcoin is more smarter than going for altcoins? I think bitcoin will always surge even if it loses value today, i never think twice about this anymore because in the past if i never switched to altcoin i would have be in big profit today, what do you guys think about my plan? Stupid or 👍
For me personally it is better to focus on investing into bitcoin. But this does not mean that altcoin is bad, but if we look at altcoin prices often follow bitcoin, if the price of bitcoin starts to surge then altcoin prices will also slowly increase. But if I have to choose for now I would prefer to invest into bitcoin like what you said and maybe I only invest into altcoin with a small amount.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: War affects the Entire Cryptocurrency? on: January 10, 2020, 01:40:59 PM
As I saw last days bitcoin pumps after Iran declared the war against the United States, On my observation its because some people on the middle east sold they commodities, some stocks and bought cryptocurrency to keep carefully their assets. Do you think guys war was favor on the entire crypto investors? You can share your thought now.

I don't think we have an argument for that. We have not experienced so much tension between Iran and the US so far. (Thank god).

The value of the USD and oil prices can be deeply affected by such problems. However, the same is hard to say for the BTC. There are not many examples about BTC. But even if it has an impact, let Bitcoin price fall instead of war.
Right you say, it's better to decrease the price of bitcoin compared to war. And for me personally, if such a war takes place, maybe the price of cryptocurrency could be affected like oil prices. But I do not expect that the war will occur and for me it is better that the price of cryptocurrency decreases compared to a war like what you say. And we can certainly continue to fight and survive to produce profits from cryptocurrency in any market conditions.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have a $2000 and had to invest in crypto which coins would you buy ? why? on: January 10, 2020, 11:29:56 AM
Get in line, man. Different topics are opened every day in the forum and you are asked which cryptocurrencies' you should buy.

Why don't you still try to come up with your own idea? Why don't you do a research and see if we can get an X coin, and the price may increase? Please read, listen and investigate. I am sure that you'll enjoy with this. If you try something to find and if you can find it, you will be satisfied and happy as much as possible. Beucase you will be do it yourself.
It is true, making decisions based on observations and research we do is something that will make us feel satisfied when the coins we get are potential coins and can give us an advantage in the end. But, sometimes we also need advice from others about the coins we will buy, because sometimes we can use these suggestions as a comparison and determine which coins have a greater chance.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year of changed altcoin discussion mentality on: January 10, 2020, 08:36:28 AM
I'm not sure that altcoins can regain their former glory. Investors are very cautious about altcoins now. But it's even good to some extent. After all, to achieve success, the project team must try very well. This means that those who came here for quick money will not stay here for long.
For now for people who want to make profits quickly, they will not be able to get profits quickly because we know the current market conditions and investors are very careful to take decisions. It might take quite a long time for the altcoin season to come back and for me personally maybe when the bitcoin price starts to surge slowly the price of altcoin will follow. At present it is better for us to prepare the steps we will take next.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guys stop investing! Use your brain, please on: January 10, 2020, 06:45:54 AM
You are very right.  I still wonder why developers and team of a project would use such exchanges like latoken, coinsbit and the likes of them, the worst of them is p2pb2b . Investors should really be careful so as not to get trapped. You hardly find volume in such exchanges  yet you see the price of a coin rising. Very funny!
Bot and the gang behind the projects plus the exchange that have percentage each time the coins got added to their exchange. Be realistic and carefully
analyze each time you make any decisions, scammers are everywhere they are just patiently waiting for victims that will engaged to their trapped, when you fall to this you surely lose your money without any chance to recover back.
usually there are still many new traders and investors who have just become familiar with cryptocurrency and do not have experience about scams and anything that can make him lose his assets, these new traders will usually be tempted by the profits that are obtained so high that they can be affected and eventually affected scams and making bad statements about cryptocurrency, for now the lack of experience is a problem in itself.
Lack of knowledge and experience is indeed a problem for everyone who has just joined cryptocurrency, where they will easily trust what others are saying and when they see a project that promises great returns, they will be easily attracted to and invest in it. . This is something that often happens in cryptocurrency and for people who just joined it is better to learn about cryptocurrency first.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Other than bitcoin is it worth to invest in Ripple? on: January 09, 2020, 03:02:18 PM
Ripple can be a good choice for you to invest besides bitcoin, but don't forget that you have so many potential coins you can buy right now. So if you can analyze more at the market, you will find the other potential coins too. Don't forget to purchase ethereum besides ripple because ethereum can increase higher too, and I think most coins at the market will have a chance to grow later. But we don't know how much the price that ripple can hit in the future, maybe it will hit more than $1.
I agree by investing in ethereum, ripple and also bitcoin. For me personally these coins are potential coins and can give us greater returns later because I also invested in all three coins. But this does not rule out the possibility that other coins have great potential, everyone certainly has different views about the coins that they think are potential and we should be able to look for opportunities from these coins.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much projects, good projects cant reach crypto ethusiasts on: January 09, 2020, 11:55:17 AM
For me, developer don't focus on funds. If they really serious, they prove to make good project first. And then although without hard promotion, people will know about the project and will appreciate it. But now a lot of ICOs we can see only focus on how much funds they can get and not execute it well.
It is true that you say that a good project will certainly focus on the project they bring to be able to continue to develop the project, but funding is also an important thing that needs to be considered, without funding it is certainly difficult for the project to develop or can be called a project it requires sufficient funds to be able to continue to develop the project and introduce it to people about the project they are carrying.
