141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Licensed bookmakers. Your cases of abuse? on: September 23, 2020, 12:04:12 PM
So far my experience with big gambling site's is good, i have no issue about them. Although the difficulty in winning is much higher when you do arbitrage gambling in popular gambling casino's.
I guess my only bad experience in a gambling site was in a sports bookie, the name was 1xbit. Luckily, some users warned and posted some red flags about it, that's how i avoided getting scammed.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do think about skill games? on: September 23, 2020, 11:56:45 AM
Poker and Blackjack is the only games i know that requires skills, the rest is you need huge bankroll in order to yield some profit. Because slots and dice are all based in chance and probability. You may encounter lose streak especially when you increment your based odds per bet.
Sports betting can be also considered especially when it requires knowledge and research.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reminder Everyone: If You Don't Have The Keys, Then It's Not Your Crypto on: September 22, 2020, 11:33:15 PM
In my opinion, you can not just blame this on exchanges, men must trade also. You need to let us know the name of the exchange. Normally, without private key, then the bitcoin is not directly ours and not our own on bitcoin blockchain. That is why it is very good to use a very reputed, trustworthy, reliable and a very safe exchange, trading is not easy or nearly impossible on wallets, that is why people prefer to use exchanges to trade.

Binance Dex exchange still provide customers with private keys, which can be a good alternative, but this kind of exchange have low trading volume.

Going for a reliable exchange such as phemex or bybit could be a nice way to store Crypto but on a short term basis. Its really difficult not to store your funds because its useless trading small amount and getting returns in low. I only trust exchanges that has good reputation and has twitter account to communicate with their users. Some decentralized exchange is more decent right now one of these is Uniswap, it has easy GUI and big community for issues you may encounter.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: September 22, 2020, 11:23:38 PM
The main cause for this, is the mainstream media telling inaccurate information to the public, sometimes they even call it a ponzi or a bubble that will soon pop, and tying everything negative including hacks in exchange with bias commentary.
We must educate the people, that the internet is a dangerous world. It doesn't mean when hack occurs with Cryptocurrency it doesn't mean its a scam itself. This is why, i courage to not trust financial advise to anyone but do their own research themselves.
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 100% guaranteed no loosing sport betting method on: September 22, 2020, 12:51:46 PM
So its some kinds initial betting features like most other gambling sitr but the difference, is it doesn't accept cryptocurrencies as deposit. I've seen this kind of websites before, and most like they do not pay and early shutdown. Well, that's indeed zero risk considering you're syndicate rebate. But be careful with your money in this site. This might be a scam.
146  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk, as a financial institutes. on: September 21, 2020, 11:17:29 PM
While it is indeed important to have rules and regulations, so users can have delicacy towards their behaviour but those rules only apply to a company or bank. Bitcointalk is an open forum where strangers can discuss anything without any monetary system telling them what to do or what to post.
There are no rules in the internet, and you wont get caught if done something that's the cons with it, but there are tons of knowledge and money making opportunity that normally in an financial institution doesn't offer.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP FIVE SECRETS OF MAKING IT BIG IN BETTING WORLD on: September 21, 2020, 12:24:05 PM
You never mention your strategies, and even if having discipline its still not enough when you're always losing. Most of the mention methods here, i've already done it. But after betting a lot it will still take back the amount that you've win, because there's a cycle in winstreak and a lose streak. In the end it will end up in a stalemate, without you gaining anything and back to square one of your funds. The only choice we have is bet big and win big, its a high risk method but atleast your funds will not be stagnant.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THE MOST PAINFUL DAY IN MY BETTING CAREER on: September 21, 2020, 12:18:18 PM

Quote
What was already money turned to stone.

This quote is one of the most popular proverbs in my country that mostly used by people who lose an amount of money in the brink of time for being unlucky. Well its said not to celebrate too early when you have yet not got the money on your hands, it must be the most upsetting time for a gambler who expects it coming and then suddenly lost it all.

Its always so tempting to win big, maybe that's why most of us gets rekt by betting illogically, because there's a big reward, if it does. It also happened to me back then in physical gambling in some roulette game. I was in a winstreak so i decided to go all in then boom everything gone in an instant. From that day on, i never bet any large amount that i can't afford to lose.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should bitcoin be introduced into the educational sectors on: September 20, 2020, 11:43:03 PM
As long as fiat exist, government or other institutions, will not introduce it. As it will harm their local currency, once the people realize how powerful, and valuable BTC can be, the same as Gold with a scarce and fix supply, that gives you freedom to your money, also with tons of opportunities to earn from it. It would be the downfall of the stock market.
I personally, been telling my friends about it, and doing all i can to save them to a potential financial crisis.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Betting on bitcoin against Central Bank Digital Currencies on: September 20, 2020, 11:36:38 PM
I'd rather go with Bitcoin, im sure many people here in the community would say the same. We all know that stimulating the economy through massive quantitative easing doesn't do any good for the poor sector, it only benefits the rich and billionaires. Also, liquid injection does more harm than good. Let's take for example Venezuela, and how many printing destroyed their fiat value.
151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THE MOST PAINFUL DAY IN MY BETTING CAREER on: September 18, 2020, 12:36:51 PM
I too experience the same in basketball i thought that cleveland would make another miracle in their game against GSW. But looks like lady luck is not on my side, they lose the series with 4:0. I should have not, bet against GSW knowing that they have a pretty strong roster.
I guess what i can do is accept what happened, and move on. Now i only bet small amounts, because i fear of getting rekt once more.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big companies have started investing in bitcoin as a safe asset on: September 17, 2020, 11:38:15 PM
They must be the entity that's buying Bitcoin, when it was around $10,000. But its certainly a good move to diversify your portfolio, we'll never know what might happen to the stock market, and we've seen Oil fallen down to negative territory. Now is probably a good time to accumulate Bitcoin before a big financial crisis happens. Similarly, other big businesses such as a restaurant in Canada that has thousands of branches, transitioned to BTC also to the fear of an economic collapse.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin transaction fees be too high in the future? on: September 17, 2020, 11:29:04 PM
I don't think so, scalability will be not a problem for Bitcoin, because as you said. When it becomes more widespread then more people will want to get into the Crypto space and even mined it. Especially in this uncertain times when fiat is in a verge of collapse.
Governments such as US and france even started to look for alternatives, and recent rumors the US government bought mining riggs. What im saying, as long as there is demand in BTC. Transaction fees will not be a problem.
154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: September 17, 2020, 01:57:14 PM
People like that, who's so into gambling will never listen to anybody. Its only after he losses everything then he'll realize what his mistakes are. Probably, let him be for now, because his mindset right now is focused on recovering his losses. That's why he'll never stop until he wages the last money he has. When that time comes never give him anything, even if he begs you. You can always help him by giving food.
155  Other / Archival / Re: What will happen to bitcoin on a world war? on: September 17, 2020, 12:31:53 AM
Bitcoin source code is safe in the Antarctic project "vault" so we can easily revived it, although i doubt that the core devs would survive WWIII. In fact, i doubt that humanity could survive it, if it where to happen in this era. Because of the advancement of technology creating more deadly weapons of mass destruction.
That would, stop the progress of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies for sure, because it will be inaccessible and rendered useless in wars.
156  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 Vaccine Will Cause Bitcoin Crash on: September 17, 2020, 12:25:15 AM
I've been also speculating what might happen, if a vaccine is develop. It may influence the Bitcoin price as businesses reopens and people has plenty of products to buy on, and they'll be going back to their normal lives and jobs, forgetting the word Cryptocurrency. But i guess, it may think more than a year to finally make a vaccine, that time we'll be seeing Bitcoin already in ATH.
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My experience is gambling on: September 16, 2020, 12:56:30 PM
Gambling is about money, but it gives me pleasure in anything I can win. Recording win and losses is very insignificant and completely useless. I have tried all kinds of trick and tips to increase win and chances, but none of them have been able to bring me a big win. Self-control is important and here I know that my main mistake in gambling is due to "money" purposes. I should have realized that if I made gambling a place to have fun then I didnt have to be excited about winning.
Gambling should never ever be about making money. May be, investment in bankroll is something you could opt for.

Indeed. Gambling is initially a recreational activity and should be taken as the way it was intended for.
Although I agree that making investments with the bankroll of casinos could be really an option.
Nevertheless, discipline to set and follow limitations when gambling is necessary to prevent addiction.

You cannot really distinguish gambling as for fun and enjoyment, especially when money is involved. It tilts your thinking in wanting to earn more. With the rewards that can make you, quick rich and restore all the losses. In a way, gambling can be a source of income, with proper strategy to earn enough and not lose more than you can afford.
158  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What programming Langauages is used by different gambling websites. on: September 16, 2020, 12:38:08 PM
You cannot really tell, even with url routing is different. Perhaps you could inspect the source code but even that doesn't really give much fruitful data, so you can't tell if its PHP or Javascript. But the most popular programming languages used in every website and platform including gambling site is laravel and React. Python is mostly for news type of website.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The acceptance of cryptocurrency worldwide on: September 16, 2020, 12:16:12 AM
It will, once the current monetary system collapses, then it will be the age of financial freedom, and its more efficient and secure than a centralized database that could be easily breach by malware. Where in the blockchain you need to have atleast 51% of hash power to steal or reverse the transaction. This pandemic made people more aware of Bitcoin, especially in major countries hit by the pandemic. One of this is france that transitioned to the use of Cryptocurrency for payments.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance sued for money laundering over stolen bitcoin. on: September 16, 2020, 12:04:40 AM
The exchange was not to blame in this case, Cryptocurrency is really hard to track, and you wouldn't know who's, who that's the sole purpose of anonymity. KYC could easily be bypassed, its not all safe. One could easily create fake ID's or steal identity from other people, its not like they could verify the ID in that country. Maybe that's the reason they're able to deposit huge amount of BTC.
